So as promised I am back with new video yayyyy 😁 Currently I am giving my semester exam but trying all best to bring the video on time. So for the coming few weeks I will be travelling with Ankur Burman, founder of Stay Green North East to rural Assam, majorly Village of Assam. So stick with us and hope you would enjoy it. Connect to Stay Green Northeast - 6001204125 (Ankur Burman) ✅ I am also on Instagram, follow mere here - instagram.com/honiyadakpe/
It's confusing, at first they were singing a "Rongdani Rabha" song in the beginning. They made you wear a "Koch Rabha" wrapper on the lower waist. They made you wear kambung of the "Rongdani Rabha" Tribe. They themselves are wearing a mixture of Assamese jewellery and representing as traditional but calling themselves as Rabha. But again cooking Rabha Traditional food which is Rice powder cooked with pork. And They are singing"Pati Rabha" song using one or two "Rongdani Rabha" word 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ such a bad description of Rabha 👎 who are those people? Where do they come from?? 😩😫
Wow ... I was about to skip the video thinking it is just any other video from Assam. But it's your name that drew my attention because it's not a Rabha or Assamese name. I am happy that I came across your video and thanks for covering our tribe. Rabha has many sub-tribes and each has their own characteristics, food habits and rituals. And Rabha forms very complex and rich tapestry of cultural and historical heritage. You look great in Rabha traditional dress.
They are also Tiprasa ...you are too beautiful cant explain...lots of love...reallly love to watch your videos..u remined me to someone special from Nepal..
Thank you Dakpe for making the piece of very nice informative video. Its really a nice concept. I would like to offer my sincere thanks and from the family of Aaranyak for focusing Sankarghola and its people, also its natural beauty. Best wishes...Keep it up...
The way you explaining is awesome🥰🥰. And the place you visited belongs to Kocha Rabha, a major group of Rabha Tribe. Please do visiting to Goalpara district as well. You will be introduced with another groups of Rabha tribe called Pati Rabha and Rongdani Rabha. Thank you for exploring our Tribe. From Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council🥰
This is specifically Koch Rabha Tribe. There are 8 tribes in Rabha Community of Assam. Rabha isn't a single tribe but a collection of 8 tribes. Namely - 1. Koch or kocha Rabha (which you have showcased here). 2. Bitolia Rabha 3.Hana Rabha 4. Rongdani Rabha 5.Totla Rabha 6. Pati Rabha 7. Maitori Rabha 8. Dahari. P. S. Koch or Kocha are the real Koches of the ancient Kingdom from whom Gatotkocha is also there mythological Tribesman. Gatot means Kill and kocha is Koch. Kochas are matriachal society. The clan is very important and they have to follow the woman's Clan instead of The man's.
Thanks for sharing your happiness 😊. First,I thought this blogger channel is travel and food channel of MNTV. Honiya Dakpe is exactly looks like a food and travel blogger from Myanmar. And she looks like my Friend, who is so funny and always smile. Honiya Dakpe and my friend need to meet.

10x sister for enlightening us with Ur blogs...As an Arunachali myself I never thought that there are various tribes in Assam as I thought them as Homogeneous group speaking a similar language to Bengali...Assam is also so diverse..
No bro. There are many tribes within Assam such as Bodo, Rabha, Karbi, Dimasa, Garo, Mishing, etc. Tribes such as Rabhas, Garos and Bodos are found across three states, Assam, Meghalaya and West Bengal; Kokboroks in Tripura has many linguistic similarities with the Bodos/Boros of Assam. The Mishing of Assam has also linguistic simirities with the Adi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. Dimasas are found both in Assam and Nagaland.
@@lifeprince2516 i believe Dimasas/Kachari are also same category as Boro, Garo, Rabha and Tipera. Also besides these better known tribes that You have mentioned, there are many different tribes who are of the Chin-Kuki-Group, Nagas, Karbi, Meitei, Khasi-Jaintia etc living in Assam.
