its strange people think they need to find the meaning of life when we had those answers all along and we intentionally left them - when people rush after money, greed, are dishonest with each other so someone else ahs to work like a slave, it creates a cycle of rush and anxiety- this is what happened to the west and is creeping in the East- people dont realize it and when they do their lust for money is too strong to leave it and once everyone behaves this way it becomes a part of parcel of society that we can change no more. She is simply stupendous...so inspiring, so settled .....she understands that we are custodians of resources, can't overexploit them....we must preserve them for future generations

Wow! This is the kind of people I want to see in Tedx. She is educating people like me who live in city skyscrapers and think I can buy a property someday in hills for leisure. Honestly her explanation changed my perspective about everything I thought about living in a new land with natures abundance . Thank you ❤
Listening to such people makes me feel so calm. They just radiate calmness. I also feel, that as a South Indian, my staple food is rice but I dont even know how rice is grown, cleaned, differences between white and brown rice. I am not educated about my most staple food even after 20 years of education.
When I was in college (25 years ago) I had predicted if we ask young students in 6th or 7th Std, from where rice comes, they cannot name paddy plant. And when I did this as experiment by asking questions in 2005/06, I was amused & sad my prediction came true. So you are not wrong. Acknowledging our follies and what we missed when we went behind education bandwagon, is the 1st step to move towards richer life with connection to real physical world by learning , learning, learning (not in just academic sense alone).
She definitely has consciousness and enlightenment....she is in balance and one with nature and maintaining a life. she helps people grow and nature flow. Her soul is beautiful.
Now this is called contributing to a better environment, a better community, a better India. This kind of consciousness is needed for a better tomorrow, genuine drive not superficiality. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻

I shared this video with several of my friends after watching it (with tears in my eyes... ). I have requested them to just spend less than 20 minutes time and see what happens. I was happy that I had lived in a village for the first portion of my life. For me it was the cleanest and happiest part. Jobs/Money/Fun Travel are not what we call achievements but there is lot more.. This video boosts my thoughts on going back to same place and do what I wanted for a long time.
Oh man you're speaking my heart . I'm from a small town , nd soon moving to Mumbai or Delhi for my undergrad but all I wish for is this sustainable lifestyle, peaceful life , which I won't be getting in those huge cities . For now , I'll be carrying few plants with me , which I can place in my balcony but once when I'm done with everything, I wanna come back to my town and build a lifestyle like this . The story brings me a different type of happiness and you know what last week I watched the Avatar 2 and after seeing avatar one and the second one I can relate why it brings me happiness. Because among many other traits its the cultivation of happiness one can do in one's own life and not only they can be impacted but also can impact others' lives as well
I visited that area last year, the view of the mountains the greenery the hills all was breathtaking. I told my husband I could live there and be very happy. Maybe in the future!! I enjoyed listening to your reasoning on nature and conservation, you are so right, people needs to feel envolved, be convinced they can be part of the solution, that feeling is very empowering it moves peoples minds, rooted beliefs. The world need more individuals like yourself, with your clear view point on every day matters. One who respect nature!! Who wants to live in harmony with it! So proud of this amazing Mind!
It’s extremely difficult to lead such life being city dwellers!! She has guts! Said nice words wherever you go people don’t accept, you have to proved yourself.
We as a citizen's of country need to responsible for our actions ,should be aware n calculated what we are doing as an individual. This vedio was one of self.wakening type. Kudos to Team and Mam for doing extraordinary effort to lead by example.
i absorbed every second of this vedeo, feels like what i wished for since 10 years she has out lived 30 years in the wild.................... thanks for people who made this vedeo
This video brought a true meaning to the word 'motiviation' in the context of living in harmony with the nature. We are a small stakeholder of the nature. However, immorally exploiting more and at a faster rate than what we should!
I share her vibes and vision, I myself moved to mountains in uttarakhand after pandemic. Working through each day to drop off the bagge of city living. It's a work in progress but still a long way to go. Thanks for this wonderful video, would love to meet her one day and chat over a cup of tea.
By far the best video on RUclips so far. Lots of respect to the lady. Hope there will be more people like her. For the rest of us let's keep our surroundings clean and plastic free, let's not burn leaves or garbage in the open and stop others from doing it too. Let's buy eco friendly products. Let's carry our own grocery bags, small steel tumblers and our own cutlery when we travel. Let's all do it together and make this earth a better place.

I could listen to her speak all day, she's a wise, well spoken woman! She really understands the meaning of life!
Loved it. Her wisdom comes from her first hand experiences...not some books and other resources. It really makes you think....to ponder upon. ❤🙂

So inspiring, this strengthened my resolve to live in my ancestral village in Uttrakhand after my retirement.... Like I keep on putting off my plan everyday to meditate, God knows will it happen. Anyhow, great documentary, congratulations.
Dhoti out! Pathetic Indians learn to behave!
This is one the best videos I have seen in a very, very long time. Such simple wisdom and true solutions. What an amazing lady. Thank you for the teaching.
The story brings me a different type of happiness and you know what last week I watched the Avatar 2 and after seeing avatar one and the second one I can relate why it brings me happiness. Because among many other traits its the cultivation of happiness one can do in one's own life and not only they can be impacted but also can impact others' lives as well
So nicely put…we need more people like you who would actually make a difference
I have learnt to respect nature not only for our survival but for survival of earth. Excellent motivational video I have seen in my life.
Such a well spoken, self aware, educated lady. This is right education.
We as a citizen's of country need to responsible for our actions ,should be aware n calculated what we are doing as an individual. This vedio was one of self.wakening type. Kudos to Team and Mam for doing extraordinary effort to lead by example.
Thanks for the kind words. It's true for not just the country but for the entire globe.
She is an epitome of wisdom. Everything she spoke seemed to have come out of practical expereince.
There’s so much truthfulness in every words of hers.

Wow! What a very nice, genuine, real fact & ever memorable, great motivational feedback.
She reminds me of Padma Shri Janak Palta Mam... Truly nature lover and bringing sustainable development skills ... thanks for being an inspiration ❤
The actual consiousness, The actual vertues, The actual happiness. I love it. Thank you for video.
So articulate. Her vocabulary is extensive!
Great interview .made my day....mam's msg should be passed globally and our country needs more and more people like mam. Respect🙏
