Here's an ode to the beautiful state of Nagaland as we discover a little something about the culture, the tribes, the upcoming fashion designers, the pop culture and the FOOD (very important) of the North East Indian state of Nagaland!
Episode 1 Part 2: The night starts with a culinary experience at Dimapur after which we then head to Kohima. Kohima is a modern Naga City, is the capital of Nagaland and is also at the cusp of Development and Modernity. We explore the various aspects of the city like vegetable markets, thrift shops, cafes, historic places and finally the Cosplay Culture!

Nagaland is a very young state and the young people here (including me) still have a lot to learn. Thank you for coming to our land and being open about our culture.

Especially you seriously haha
Being the 16th state of India I don’t think Nagaland would consider as a young state but yes very young state in terms of infrastructure and development.
@@chumrobasangtam187 I think by young she meant the average age of the state is low that means most of the people are very young... Although I'm not sure about it.

Am a Zambian RUclipsr and its my first time to hear about Nagaland in India? India is a continent eh! I love India! Here in Zambia we have Kohima Barracks in the Eastern Province and i have always wondered where that name came from? so it came from the Indian settlers in the Eastern Province, Zambia
India wasn't a country before the British colonised India. It was ruled by princely kingdoms. It's only since about 150 years, that India is a nation.
The North East Indians were always ingenious to their land. They do not share any common history with the mainland, so don't the southern states of India. They had their own rich cultures.
I am definitely going to Nagaland soon.. the cosplays, coffee houses, food, fashion and especially the people, everything is so inspiring.. thanks Tanya for such a beautiful episode

@@soorajs6824 No that is not true though, i have been to Uttar Pradesh for an entire two months visiting more than 20 districts of the state. I am from Arunachal Pradesh but trust me i found the places in UP quite welcoming to me and did not get to face any racism or criticism as such. A small mischief or mis-adventure we all will experience no matter whichever places we visits, its just your perspective of looking at the things. 2 months in UP really changed my perspective of their places and people and an oceans of new things i learned.

The fact that people don't know about this part of India in sad. I am connected to Nagaland, my grandmother is from Dimapur, she is a nepali although. I know that the people there are very good and open minded. They believe in good food and life! Also it's blessed with natural beauty!

Dimapur originally belongs to the Dimasas. But I never visited Nagaland. But, I am in love with Mizoram. Wud like to visit Nagaland soon
Of course. Nagas are Chinese refugees to avoid Mongol massacre. They are more civilized than other part of India.
They are very very small states. Their populations are sometimes not even as big as districts in larger states.
This totally feels like a show on TLC. Put together so amazingly! ❣️ #Inspired

Why to go outside India when we've Nagaland !💕
My best memory of nagaland is when i was called for lunch by a very learned lady. I forgot to tell her that i was a vegetarian. She was so sweet that she cooked four special vegetarian dishes , just for me, with chapati and rice, in time, for lunch to be served. She had two beautiful daughters who had come on vacation from delhi. They did the trick. This was in 1985. What touched me most was their pure hearts.

As we all know railway/air/roads connectivity are not as good in northeast compare to other parts of India.
Your vlogs are kind of a 'bridge' between northeast and rest of the part of India and there is no issue in this connectivity. 🙂
People like you & some other good vloggers/persons have done a great job to influence/motivate lots of people to come to northeast from different parts of India/World... Northeast is gradually becoming a popular travel destination for the Indians..by looking at it's increasing popularity govt is already started working to improve the roads & railway connectivity(e:g first ever railway tunnel dug in Nagaland)....you have already covered AP, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland and some parts of Assam(among NE states).
