I live in Indore but I have lived in Nagaland till I was 16 and I am 32 now. I still can't forget my days at Nagaland. Not a Naga by blood but as I am born and bought in Nagaland, people recognise me as Naga. I can't be more proud when I am identified as Naga. I can still speak Nagamese and Ao.

That “beautiful shawl” is call “Errie Ra” which means “war shawl” worn by the Chakhesang men. The women’s version is white background with red borders with black and red design minus the spears and is called “Erru Ra” which translate to “Bone Shawl”. Treasure that shawl, it takes more that two weeks to carry and weave it, then trim it to shape the spears.
