I just got back from visiting Mizoram and Manipur. Both lovely states with lovely people and so different to each other. What mainland Indians don't understand is how diverse each North east state is, the culture, the various tribes, the cuisines, language, beliefs etc etc. and all are unique. North East India is a truly special place and I am proud of my fellow Indians who live there. i just wish the tourism facilities get developed soon, as many many tourists will go there soon. Cheers.

The best time to enjoy the scenery of manipur would be from june to oct-nov since the paddy fields would be flourishing around this time and with small hillocks every kilometer and no matter how much I’ve seen it, the beauty never ceases

No one knows the beauty of Manipur by searching from google and all. If you guys really wanna have complete mental peace and happiness you should go there... Only then you'll come to know how wonderful this small state is!! Well done Tanya ji. Iwas in Manipur in 1985-86. So much has changed, except the people. They are still so sweet and humble. I was a vegetarian and never faced any problem. We used to go to Moreh with a guy like Robertson. What days! You are a brave girl.

Manipur is a beautiful state and to be honest this vlog wasn’t able to do much justice. can certainly understand the whole thing looks rushed like you said. You should make a special series on Manipur next year similar to your episodes on Nagaland. on a lighter note, even a regular tap has more water gushing out with greater force than the waterfall shown here. like a said next year around springtime will be great. looking forward to all of your future travels..... good luck!
Yeah, it wasn't supposed to do justice! :) It was a recce trip and also I visited in the wrong season due to work obligations 😊 But nevertheless, one can always plan better and visit at the right time.

Love it🤗 happy to see u in my hometown. Please do visit again, and if u happen to come again to Manipur, I strongly suggest u to visit Tharon village one of Tamenglong district and do a homestay there atleast 3 days spent in the village. I tell you it will worth it.
Tharon is a beautiful village with beautiful sightseeing spots (popular for the Tharon Cave and waterfall). U will also experience the warm hospitality, exotic tribal food, simple lifestyle and living culture over there. People from different parts of Manipur have been visiting this place. But they only come to see the cave and do not know the culture over there.
It is a peaceful village, with no disturbed from the outside modern community, and there is no phone network📡 over there sorry in that part😊. I was there as a social worker under an NGO called AIDA. So, sometimes I used to feel like though the villager are not accessing to modern education or lifestyle, they are already happy and living in peace. But introducing the modern education, gadgets and technologies might disturb this peaceful community.
Please do visit, make a plan and hoping to see ur video soon with the culture attires of the Tharon people.
