  • Qigong shaking is a simple and powerful exercise for relieving stress, improving clarity, and creating a sense of inner peace. You can do this shaking exercise for even just a minute and feel transformative effects in your state of being.
    Start in a standing position, and begin by gently bouncing on the heels to create a vibration up the entire body all the way to your head. You can then incorporate arm shaking, twisting, jumping, even dancing around!
    Comment below and let me know how it goes!

    I started something like this one morning as I always watched my dogs shake first thing when waking, then follow by stretching. It made sense and does help. Dogs are great teachers.

      Yes, this a bit different than a normal qigong routine, but it's a very important exercise!

  • @paulmanthey6841
    @paulmanthey6841 2 года назад +39

    The qigong I do involves simply standing, legs slightly bent & just letting the body start to shake by itself - it may take longer for some people, but you just relax & do not slouch forward or backwards, gaze slightly down - if you shake too much you need to stop - I believe this practice may have originated from older practices, pre-dating qigong.

    • @resilientbeing447
      @resilientbeing447  2 года назад +28

      Yes, Qigong is mainly a very grounded, slow moving practice. The exercise you're referring to is Zhan Zhuong (standing like a tree) and is very powerful! This shaking exercise is just one exercise and is mainly a nervous system reset.
