They added 6-DOF support to iVRy for Android and iOS a few months ago!

You can move irl and you will move in vr@@abatall

I've got to try iVRy out on a Pixel 2 and it's way better there. The tracking rate was 60Hz and i had 60fps. The resolution was really clear n' sharp too!!
So yeahhh, it's really good with Pixel phones!!

Editing code and stuff, but i think i can find a video for ya that shows you how to do it without Driver4VR

Hey, just a question, how did u manage to teleport/move in steamvr home without using motion controllers utilizing only the headtracking?
I used an Xbox controller! SteamVR supports them, and you just have to use your head to move the teleportation indicator to its place
@@muiigei I cant get that to work, connected the controller, did the setup, but it just shows a levitating motion controller in steamvr home :(

@@n1etr056 Maybe, but its not very practical to use simultaneously. Only possible using Driver4VR on steam i believe (not free, about £15 i remember)

Hello can someone who uses wiimote help me? I tried to use them but couldn’t connect them , took me a lot pf time to connect but driver4vr didn’t detect them. Another time spent and I found out driver4vr detects it as vrgamepad. I think the problem is steam detects wiimote as normal controller but not sure how to fix it. Can someone help me?

Thought I'd give it a try, not to actually use my phone as a vr headset, just to try messing around in vrc seeing if anything happens, but after trying to get it to work for about half an hour (screen won't show on my phone, but I can see it very low res on my monitor, controller won't work at all no matter what I do, things just keep not working or not wanting to connect) my computer literally bluescreened, lol.
Are you still planing to do the wii mote video?
My controller doesn't work at all with Steam VR, Idk why. Im using a Dualsense controller.

Neten nem találtam erről semmit sem, de az megoldható, hogy veszek hozzá pl. Quest kontrollereket, és úgy használom?
Attól tartok hogy quest kontrollereket nem lehet normálisan összekapcsolni a steamvr-al egy headset nélkül.
Van erre kettő alternatíva, ami a Driver4VR és az iVRy psvr drivere.
Az iVRy az képes egy full vr szettet emulálni Playstation VR kontrollerekkel és persze egy psvr headset is kell hozzá. Használtan lehet meglepően olcsón találni a neten egy settet.
De ha ez nem jó, akkor a driver4VRnak van pár alternatívávja mint például kinect használata egy wii kontrollerrel vagy ilysemi.
A driver4VR az kábé $20, az iVRy psvr version meg szintén ilyen $20 körül van.
Remélem ez valamennyit segített!

If it's wired, then just connect it to your pc through usb. But if it's wireless i recommend looking for it in the Bluetooth settings of your PC.

Hello! I'm having an issue that the game doesnt let me move, ivry doesnt detect the phone's movement, only the rotation.
Headset itself cant detect movement. Its a '3 degrees of freedom' (3dof) system.
it detects only 3 rotations: up-down left-right and tilt left-right.
There is a option in the app that lets you do 6dof using your phone cam

That depends on your version of iVRy. If you haven't purchased the $5 full version, vr will turn black and white

what phone are you using?
For the video I've used a nokia 8, and I've also used a Pixel 2
Both of them work really well, but obviously more higher end phones are recommended for a better experience.

if your phone has a good enough CPU, it should work well! By that i mean, no stuttering, and no lagging.

Connecting it to your PC should be enough

It depends on what you want to do in VR. For example an AMD Radeon RX 570 can run VR, but it will probably have some stuttering and lagging on higher settings in newer apps/games.

no, they're not needed! The only thing you need is your phone!

It doesn't work the best tbh it took 2 hours just to connect it to the pc but then it only showed a gray plain on the VR ground and didn't move
genius to fix gray plain you need to buy an app. And to use "move" you need to enable 6-dof option

Depends on what you want to do in vr! But a GTX 1060 or anything higher will do just fine
