    The dyno numbers are right in the ballpark for those mods, and the response with Hot Rod cams is typically soft up to 3.0k rpm with a ski slope rise in the torque curve from 3.0-3.5k rpm.

    Dang bro we make identical power levels like we're literally 2hp difference with almost exact same setup but I will be changing over to the Todd warrens custom grinds cause the frpp hot rod cams really have nothing compared to Todd warrens setups
    Also the only difference between out cars is brand of header and mufflers and I got a Ford performance intake instead of the stock one

      I have almost the same mods as well. Installing hot rod as we speak along with gt500 oil pump, new followers and lash adjusters and chains. I have 165k on mine. What are your mileages? I was leaning toward todd warren cams but got a good deal on the hot rods. I couldn't finger a single dyno for them on youtube that was a 3v but a million 2v Chris out there.

    All I have is a straight piped exhaust and hot rod cams. Idk how but I’m seeing you make more horsepower but I’m making more torque which is weird

      You lose hp straight piping and make higher end torgue I also my setup that way I have a 2005 mustang gt straight piped with a stage 3 comp cam BBK throttle body and 3.16 gears

    Might be a tad lean. Not sure NA is different than say my subie that runs 11.03 afr at wot.
    But thats some good power over my 95 stang 5.0 with all the bolt ons only did 254 whp. Goes to show how good the 3 valve heads are over stock ported 5.0 heads. I am sure those cams helped a ton too.

      @@rodgerhecht3623 i showed the graph to the tuner and he said thats right where the afr needs to be. The wrx is boosted so that changes the need for more fuel

      When i dynoed it yes. Now it has the frpp followers and lash adjusters

      No. This is with stock springs. No upgraded springs required with hotrod cams

    Did the improved power at higher rpm range translate to better lap times?

      Realistically....hard to say. I did a number of other mods between track days so its hard to tell. Honestly hp doesnt really mean much kn the smaller tracks like buttonwillow and streets of willow. On the fast tracks it really matters. But adding 20-25hp...youll barely notice on a track that has shorter straights. I mostly did it for the sound and extra power on the street. Which you definately notice. But so many other aspects matter on the road course that adding a lil power will barely be noticable. That being said, the best time i had beflre that cams was a 2:07 and the best time after was 2:04. But i also went to bigger tires and brakes. So...idk.

      Whats your best time at BW? ive only run 13Cw...but i believe it was a 2:04.7

      @@hechtspeed Ah yeah, I think you mentioned running 305 tires, so that's probably worth a few seconds alone. My best time at bw is a 2:07 running 200 tread wear 275/40/18. What is your gearing?

      @@chrisrcarraher8800 373. Yeah but they are 5 year old junk nitto invos lololol. "220" tw lololol. Honestly im thinking of going down to a 355. I need to rebuild the rear end anyhow. On a real tire id expect to see 2:02-2:03

      @@chrisrcarraher8800 i was on nitto nt05 275 40 17 when i did the 2:06.9...actually had a ford racing manifold at that time. Prefer the stronger mid range with the stock manifold. Though that didnt translate to better lap times either hahaha.

    that 91 oct tune is a bit weak. LITO isnt as good as people gas him up to be.

      All we can get here is 91. 344whp for my mods is pretty damn good imo. Ive seen guys with similar mods make 20+ hp less than me

      yeah depends on the tuner. being you even had UD pulleys. seems a little low to me. i had 360 on dyno dynamics heartbreaker with mutha thumprs same bolt ons minus UD pulleys. and no head porting at all. but my tuner had the fastest 3v in the world for a while. why i said LITO is over rated. dyno shops are also a dime a dozen, getting a quality tune is rare.

      @@TenPennyTowers its very mild head porting and only in thr intake ports. Also, dynos vary alot between each other as far as numbers go. For a email tune kts pretty damn good imo. Sure if it were a dyno tune and he got to tune every last hp out of it im sure theres atleast a few more. But like i said...different types of dynos also give different numbers. Some read high and some read low. I follow a guy who only made 355 whp with comp stg2 vsr cams amd a ford racing intake amd all the other mods that i had. So only 10hp less than him. If anything...your car was jist a factory freak lolol. Ive never heard of anybody making 360whp on "sound" type cams

      @@hechtspeed dyno dynamics is typically regarded as having the lowest numbers. anyways. theyre sound cams but thumprs do make the most power of the sound cams. hence the phaser limiter requirement... i had FRPP intake mani and 300 rate springs so i was able to run to 7500rpm. his dyno is accurate because ive seen stock coyotes on it and put down exactly what they should be rated at. keep in mind im at sea level so power levels may be different where you are.
