thanks Cory for this video, it helps me a lot to rebuild my T10. Only my speedometer gear is different. But you have to fit the Shim of the reverse gear (see minute 39:40) 😂! Allways have a good ride, Bert from Germany
I have to ask, how does the transmission shift? Because the one thing all transmission builders seem to agree on is, do NOT use anything containing MOLY/Graphite during reassembly. It works great where friction is a concern but not so much for transmission synchro's trying to stop a gear. The high solids also can plug up the lubrication passages. In the past, I have been tempted by the low cost and the availability of Lucas Assembly Lube but avoided it due to it's high solids content (MOLY). Obviously, if the synchro's can't slow the gear to line up it for a shift, there will be issues. So 5 months later, what's the verdict? Does the T10 shift like butte.... i mean MOLY?
I have had absolutely zero issues with the shifting, I would understand the concern about the extra lubrication on the synchros, however I only ran the transmission for less than 50 miles and then changed out the fluid. I always run a break in period, and then change to flush out any contaminated fluid and any metal that could have slightly shaved off!
Excellent video for home builders that do not have all the professional workshop tools!! Thanks

@dylansurname6051 glad I could help!
Thanks Cody! A valuable video for me and my attempt at a rebuild of a Super T10!!
You're welcome, glad I could help!
