It was great to see Drew McIntyre to eliminate Brock Lesnar and winning the Royal Rumble. It looks like 2020 will be the year of McIntyre. Also it brought back childhood memories seeing Edge returning and reunited with Orton was electric. Rated RKO reunion at Royal Rumble was AWESOME.

Not really. The edge return was spoiled all over social media so it wasn’t exciting. Now if it was back in Ruthless Agression Era or Attitude Era it’d be different. Besides horrible Bayley vs Lacy match the PPV was cool.

I feel like Seth Rollins's moment is underrated. He was like the final boss, and props to Roman Reigns, one of the few times everyone cheered for him at the time. In hindsight we should've expected Reigns to not win the Royal Rumble when he got his big moment with Rollins.

However it was still unexpected
Honestly one of the best rumbles ever. Built in smaller story lines, huge big pop emotional return, and big pay off to the semi groan worthy(only would have actually been groan worthy if lesnar went all the way) start of having a deserving guy getting the big elimination over lesnar and also winning to capitalize on the momentum of it. Can't really ask for much more out of a rumble other than a spot of 2 guys perfectly hitting the floor at the same time, but that's also been done to perfection already so need to dip into that angle again where it likely wouldn't come out as clean if planned. The only thing that sucks about it that dosen't actually have anything to do with the rumble match itself is that Drew isn't going to get the right pay off now with Mania being severely diminished being held in a closed studio. Now he won't get "the moment" in front of tens of thousands of fans.
