- Man oh Man this watch is the reason i still collect timex watches and its just the best example that cheap doesn't always translate to not good.
The Timex Q Chronograph by looks its a win lets see if the watch is worth it.
This Timex is a very handsome watch indeed. As a watch enthusiast, it is so refreshing to see more affordable, great design watches featured. Great video!

It's a very nice watch. Yes, it's not a true mecaquartz like the Seiko VK63 which has the clickiness and the flyback function. This Timex is very nice indeed, definitely great value. I'd buy one! This would also look great on a black/grey striped NATO.

I have the same one , I really love it, some people complain about the Q, I like it , it gives it character. I replaced the metal band with an old Seiko metal band from the 70’s, it fits it perfectly and I have micro adjustments 😊
which Seiko band did you replace it with?

@@Le_Bicar it’s acrylic, so it probably does, however I am one of those people who take really good care of their things , so I am always weary of potential scratch threats to my watches, so I always play it safe and avoid potential situations that might scratch the glass. So far I don’t have any scratches on it. If you scratch it it can always be buffed out
Watch looks great! It’s very high on my next buy list. It’s between the Timex Q and Tissot PRX.

Love the look of this watch. Downside for me is the fact it seems rather heavy on my wrist. Q at 12 o'clock would not have been my decision but it doesn't bother me either.
No regrets on the purchase.

Any chance you could do a review on the P39 and some comparison pics with the Q GMT? That is one of my best fitting watches and it'd be interesting to see how the P39 fits in comparison, especially with the rubber.
Cool watch but it should have a 1/5 second scale to really take advantage from the sweeping seconds hands instead of just being a good looking feature

Ok so here’s What I think:
- The chronograph movement is crappy just like a timed weekender. No click feeling when pressing the button .
- the bracelet is rattly and thin , definitely doesn’t match the thickness of the watch, and better to find a more solid and thicker aftermarket bracelet.
What are your thoughts about that ?
I totally agree with you, the feeling of the bracelet is not half bad, yes the thickness of the watch does not match the thickness of the bracelet. i still yet have to investigate more about the movement ... but i think is not gonna be good. this being said is a nice fun watch this is not that expensive and the loooks are sooo good .. really i think timex has gone with the right look of the q line.
Check out a micro brand called "About Vintage" they have a similar watch called 1960

I really like so much about this design, and from Timex's Q line in general. Unfortunately this falls into the same trap that so many quartz and mechaquartz chronos have done in recent years: the completely unnecessary and largely unwanted 24-hour dial.
I like the 24-hour dial. 😕

what? its all stainless steel brush and pulished their is no chrome plated what are yo u talking about? And yes there are lots of microbrands that do greater jobs than this ...
Watch is ruined in the "ali express" design fashion:
- that dreadful "Q" on 12 is a standalone Disaster;
- that chrono sweep;
- that squeezed in and unnecessary date window on §" position;

i guess i was talking design perspective, love how the watch looks. is not the best chorno out ther for sure .. but is a nice one and the looks of it are increible

This Timex is a beautiful piece, might not have the best movement & the chrono sweep might not be the best, but for the price? I think it's more than okay. Better options in micro brands, yes I agree. But not everyone can get their hands on good micro brands, geography matters.
