Beautiful piece Chris awesome review and congrats on the subscriber's bro keep up the good work 🎉😊
Thanks John I appreciate it!
Great review Chris. I have the version with the multi-colored subdials and really like it. Thank you for sharing and be well my friend.
That one looks very cool too and came with a bracelet and sapphire did it not? Zenith el primera vibes with that one
@Mirrly on Time Watch Reviews Thank you Chris. It came with a stainles steel bracelet, but the crystal is mineral. And yes, it does have a Zenith El Primero Chronograph look...
I love this watch, I sincerely believe it is perfect for a young man looking for something sporty and attractive. I definitely think it's versatille enough for dressy occasions. My only complaint is the issued strap, it looks foamy. I want to get one for my son, I intend on putting it on a modest black leather band.
Hello underwater, you are absolutely correct. It is really an amazing watch and I like it on FKM rubber strap or a nice sail cloth strap is great too. It’s a sharp lookin watch and as you said very versatile and with 100m water resistance too! Bloody fantastic thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t done so yet
Timex is knocking it out of the park. Many nice watches lately. I am still chasing an S1 on the used market...Cheers from Atlantic Canada!!!
Yes that’s a good one as well,
Thanks Bill!
It's a nice looking watch for sure. Timex has really upped their game in the past few years. My expedition chronograph is a nice one as well. I believe the movement is the Epson YM12A
Ohhhh, I should check that out my guess for this one is a miyota, but I wasn’t unscrewing the caseback, wish they would list it on the website instead of being generic about it. Thanks Brit!
Always been a fan of timex and always will be.
Me too Dan, the true North American budget watch, the best!
I love Timex. Beautiful watch.
Me too! Timex has a special place in my heart and it will always. Thanks Armendariz! Please subscribe too if you haven’t yet and God bless m8!
Bummer about the lume fading so quickly but its a great looker right there! I do like that pop of the green seconds hand but yeah I can see how its a bit hard to read with the black dial behind it. Looks like its got a great mechaquartz and I'm glad it has that 100M water resistance. Timex needs to do sapphire standard already sheesh lol. Great review man! 😎👍🍻
Thanks David. Apparently this may not be a meca quartz, true brit found out it has an Epson Corp Calibre movement in it, another viewer said that it should have clicky not spongy pushers if it is a meca wuartz. If it isn’t it beats at 4 ticks per second so 🤷♂️
Nice review. The multicolored sundial version of this has been on my shortlist for a while, but those never seem to be in stock anywhere. I think it would be nice if Timex offered both versions with the bracelet option. And, you made reference to the "Wow" on the dial. It's really WWCo for Waterbury Watch Company.
I know that it just looks like the word wow :) and yes def would be nice to have a bracelet option! Thanks Kevin
This is a real looker Chris. Don't think I've seen this watch anywhere else before you showcased it. Am I crazy or is the pinion really really long? It seems that the vertical distance between the center hands is quite unusually large. Looks very cool though. This is 239 C$ right? or 239 USD?
I am not sure this is the 0S20 movement. If you check the instruction manual for it, it doesn't seem to have more than 1 tick per second if I understood that correctly. Also, according to the manual, there doesn't seem to exist the 'split time feature' of the B pusher. On the 0S20 it seems to be just the chrono reset button. Additionally, and quite weirdly, I don't think this is a mecha-quartz. I think on a mecha-quartz the A pusher is always stiff and clicky and not spongy like on this one.
Unfortunately, Timex is a bit shady with their movements (at least on their mechanical watches) and they sometimes use strangely modified no name Chinese movements. I think the only way to really check the movement is to pop the caseback off.
Hey Andrei. So the chrono seconds hand is four ticks per second which is why I assumed it was a meca quartz, the price is 239 CAD, and a friend found out that the movement is S Epson Corp. Calibre YM12A. On the website calibre corner it lists the Waterbury chronograph as one of its watches.
@@MirrlyonTime Oh that is good info. A movement I was not aware of, a non-mecha-quartz with more than one tick of the (chrono) second hand. Very unusual, at least as far as I know. And this is definitely not mecha-quartz since it has a button press combo for realigning the chrono hands. Also the mushy A pusher. A very interesting movement and definitely a super cool Timex. Very nice find Chris.
I want to love this watch. I do. But I own two Fossil chronometer watches that have the same chronograph function as this Timex, minus the Tachymeter bezel. One includes the useless 24 hr sub-dial, which should be swapped out for a tenth second register sub-dial. I find myself going right back to the Bulova Lunar Pilot for true chronograph function.
Oh yea, that Bulova is an absolute beauty I have one, and it’s awesome!
A very nice looking watch.
Yeah this one is great there is also a q Timex version as well not sure what the main differences are but this one is fantastic best Timex I have seen personally
Thank you for showing us a watch that we can't buy Chris. You big tease 😜 Timex has great watches and for the price them and other are taking over the affordable section
Yeah I’m sure this one will be restocked, not sure how long it will be, when I bought mine I think there were something like 7 or 8 left, and within a week they were gone.
Lovely watch, especially for the price.
It really is! Thank you, James
I am planning on getting a classy looking chornograph. Considering the Timex Q Chronograph, and this Waterbury Chrono. What's the difference between these two? Also, any other suggestions in this similar price range?
To be honest not sure what the difference between this and q is, maybe the q has a sapphire glass? Just checked specs but they are quite similar otherwise. Look into Seiko chronographs they may be a little bit more but they are good I have the SSB031 Seiko chronograph and it is fantastic
I do not get why right subdial shows useless hours? It is a nightmare of many watches.
Lol yep and miyota does have a Chrono with a 1/20 sub dial wish they used that one
This watch is making me confuse
Same price and model with seiko SBTR027 that i wanted from last month,
Which one should i go sir ???
Oh snap that’s a good question. Seiko will obviously be a great choice but their bracelets aren’t the greatest, but the movement if it is the vk63 meca quartz is definitely going to be better than the movement in this. At the end of the day, I’m sure either one will be an excellent choice so grab the one that pulls at uiur heart strings harder
Very nice looking piece from Timex, liking all the little details they've included on the dial. Only thing I'm not a fan of is all the text. Other than that, looks great
Thanks Wes! Def think that for a quartz watch this is one of timex’s best
The right strap always looks good
Yeah this one I had sitting around and it’s perfect imo for this watch, leaving it on er for a while!
Hi chris, Please provide link of the NATO Strap
No link for the nato strap friend, it was an extra strap that I got from a pagani design watch from aliexpress.
@@MirrlyonTime thanks for replying me chris.
Does the watch have a loud ticking sound ,that is usually associated with timex watches.
No not at all, the small subdial at 6 is the running seconds hand for the watch so it’s nice and quiet :)
@@MirrlyonTime Oooh okay. Good to know. I just ordered mine.
do you know what is the lug-to-lug dstance of this watch? I think that's the most important thing for whether the watch is too bog on someone's wrist.
Yes I stated in the video, it’s a very wearable 45mm!
@@MirrlyonTime thx, I mised that in the video!
@@ljuhan2 no worries!
Hi, I recently received my watch , it’s crown doesn’t go inside , please let me know the reason
It is not a push pull crown it is a screw down crown, push in crown and turn clockwise
I don’t like it’s leather strap , I would like the rubber one in black same as your green .
Please share the link to buy rubber straps
@@MAHESHMAHESH-fy4yg I have bought and highly recommend the vulcanized fkm rubber straps that you can find at the following Ali express store:

@@youhahn2 quality is great
How does a quartz watch have the sort of smooth sweep of automatics?
This is a mechanical courts, so the second stand for the chronograph is part mechanical king at 4 m/s. Otherwise known as mecaquartz. Usually only the chronograph hand is the one that sweeps at four tix per second to Saco VK63 is one of the best courts chronographs movements you can get in my opinion.
@@MirrlyonTime so during normal functioning it will not have a smooth sweep? The long seconds arm i mean
@@saptarshimozumdar1657 correct the large seconds hand won’t actually work until you activate it with the top pusher. Some watch brands have utilized the meca quartz movement for the running seconds hand which ticks 4
Times per second making it look like an automatic. Gallant brand from aliexpress has some great looking watches for under 50 bucks (or just over, well under 100 though) with that kind of movement, Farr and Swit Wayfinder that I own also does and they are a step up from a regular quartz watch for sure
@@MirrlyonTime i am looking for a quartz watch under 200 dollars that has a smooth second sweep like this
@@saptarshimozumdar1657 Gallant on aliexpress has some that are pretty good check them out
I think goofed up. I tried to pull the crown out with my fingernail and it was tough. I didn't pinch with my thumb and index finger. I hope I didn't damage the crown and pin
It is a screw down crown on this one and not a push pull crown. Turn toward you or counter clockwise to unscrew the crown, push in and turn clockwise or away from you to put it back in.
@@MirrlyonTime I know. It was fully unscrewed but my nail wasn't pulling the crown out. It came out eventually but after watching your video I saw to pinch the crown with my fingers. I just hope the Crown and lin are robust enough to not have been damaged
@@danielkohlman27 hope so, I’m sure it will be ok
@@MirrlyonTime I tested with the method in your video and it seems to be ok. Everything seems fine. It screws in good and smooth
@@danielkohlman27 glad to hear!!
Did you say screw down crown?
Yessir this has a screw down crown
No Indiglo! Gasp.
😆😆
C$ 239. Good value?
Absolutely and that’s Canadian dollars so sub 200 for USD
Nonsense! This watch is much to expensive!
looks the same as the Q
Much too Expensive for what it is!
Agree to disagree but thanks for watchin
I agree to disagree also!
I will not subscribe! Thanks anyway though!
For that s** comment I’ll subscribe! 😅 it’s a great vid. Be thankful that someone make content!
220 is what I paid and it's a better looking watch compared to my citizen Brycen eco drive. There are watches out there that are way more over priced for what you get. Timex is a well known brand and the famous say. Timex: takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
