Another screaming person here haha. I was like "hey Jory, push the crown! Push the f'ing crown! Your little flash light is not what brings Indiglo to life!". It's funny what ignoring Timex for so long can cause on a seasoned watch enthusiast. TGV, please give Jory a call.
Well that’s embarrassing for someone who doesn’t need instructions to not know about the indiglo function, for the first time I’m disappointed in a review by Jory
I am still wearing the self winding Timex my parents gave me for my birthday in 1956. It 's still running and keeping accurate time. Fabulous watch. Went through 22 years of military service. That's a watch.
There are two modes for the backlight, a quick press/ flashlight mode which is just instant on/ off and a long press mode, if you long press about 4 seconds the light will blink and then stay on for another 4 seconds. Also, on the rear cover there is some additional info stamped in the cover, the battery number, the lug width, model and serial number and the web address are all stamped in the rear cover.
Agreed I have my nice watches , 2 citizens and a Tag- but I wear this exact timex for my day to day wear and tare watch and amazingly I get just as many people compliment it than my dress up head out time pieces - very underrated for sure
I literally had no idea. The thought of pushing in the crown when it’s already closed is fairly foreign to me. (Aside from my 6139 that uses that function to change the date)
I've owned this watch for several years. The tenth of a second register can be calibrated to read back to zero, and also I didn't see you use the indiglo function. You push the crown to illuminate the dial. The lume is certainly marginal being it's a timex, but the indiglo trumps almost any other watch on the market.
My love for watches started with a Timex several years ago. It was a Timex IQ Compass, a field watch with an integrated compass as a fourth hand in the dial. Back then I worked as a field biologist and I used that watch as a backup when navigating the field and never let me down. Still have it, still working, great watch.
Sadly I have. I had a Timex Expedition Chrono and when I took my backpack off it straight up ripped out the crown. Not really sure if its my fault or not, but Im gonna get another timex soon.
Marius Banik I had an Expedition that the crown came out of, and I don’t know where it went or how the crown even came out. It was just $37 and I used it as a beater watch which is why I went to digital, after going several years not having worn a digital watch. I have two G-shocks now but the Timex Ironman is a great alternative to a G-Shock they can also take quite a beating and keep working.
@@airtec87 here's a good explanation about why collectors dont like them. ruclips.net/video/Ivx4JNhXjFg/видео.html But for an everyday solid working watch Timex gets the job done.
I've owned several Timex Expedition watches, including the digital-analog combo ones, and they are all fantastic value for their prices. Not forgetting the useful Indiglo back light illumination too.
I've had a Weekender as my daily EDC watch for years, as well as a few other Timex watches. They are absolutely unbeatable for the money, and the Indiglo feature is better than any lume will ever be. They're awesome
I've been wearing this watch (well, the older model military expedition t49823) daily for 10 years. It's not an expensive watch, but it keeps excelent time (within 10 seconds a year), and its chronograph good to the twentieth of a second has been good enough for me through university. Goes through a battery every 2 years, but I use the indiglo heavily when camping in the summer so YMMV. 3 things I didn't like. The original strap disintegrated within 5 years, had it replaced with a non-leather backed strap and it's lasted since. The slide rule on the outer rim of the dial is made of softer stuff than it ought to be, so it's been nicked and marred, allthough it still works (allthough yours does not seem to have the inner ring of the rule?). The face could be made of tougher stuff, I've had to buff out a few scratches with jewelers rouge over the years. Mind you, I bang it off everything due to my clumsiness. But overall, it has been a good watch to me. It's been underwater to 10 feet, dropped, banged, stepped on, abused, muddy, and sandy, but it still works perfectly and probably will for a very long time, knock on wood.
As an owner, I'd like to add a few comments. Of couse you now know about the Indiglo. My only real gripe about this watch is the proportions. As others have pointed out, at 43. mm, this watch is screaming for a 22mm lug width. IMO, it would balance out better aesthetically. The movement flops around a bit when setting the time or date, not a deal breaker as it's quartz and doesn't need to be monkeyed with daily. Hey, it's $50 bucks. The strap: Most Timex watches come with garbage straps, these Chronos come with straps made by S.B. Foot Tanning Co., Red Wing, Minnesota. Yup, the strap was a pleasant surprise. The attention to the level of detail and it's layout and finishing on the dial are superb at this price point. With 56 year old eyes, this can be a shore to read. Mine has the red hands and I purchased a Ritche band with red accents, which looks and feels great. Case finishing, I don't mind ad this is an Expedition and IMO, the rougher finish is suited to this style. Your recent admissions of Quartz functionality and toning down of the drama has me subscribed again. Keep up the good work.
I Liked this time piece so much I ended up buying another. My nephew is a Pilot in the Military. My Great nephew loved the Chronographs we wear so I purchased this Timex Expedition Chronograph for him and he Loves It! For under $50.00 it was definitely an excellent buy and Big Bang for the buck! Thanks Jory!
Dude I have owned Timex watches since I was a kid in the 1960s when they were an institution and still proudly made in America. Currently wearing Chronograph Timex I have had for about 10 years, keeps perfect time and all I have done is replace the batteries every few years. The slogan is Timex takes a Lickin' and keeps of Tickin'. Got my current watch from Kmart. It was a $50 watch, but Kmart mislabled it for $18, so I got it for $18. The watch now sells for $100. My watch has all of these same exact features but I also have the Tachymeter bezel.
I just used my timex on a cave expedition that was alot of water, mud and alot tight crawling and banging of body parts arguably the most you could put a watch through and it survived without a scratch and it was submerged almost thr whole time
That it's actually a few dollars less expensive than the Weekender is pretty remarkable, and the Indiglo feature that was [almost] missed is just the icing on the cake. I liked the all-digital Timex that I had in high school. It was made in the Philippines, and I have often wondered if Timex is still doing anything with their Philippines factory.
It's nice to know that the independent hour hand movement is an actual feature Timex includes in their chronographs and that my watch isn't totally busted lol. I have tons of watches and never had one with that kind of date adjustment so I was a little confused with it. Timex watch bands are serviceable, but I always wind up replacing mine, even with cheap aftermarket straps, just to elevate the feel.
I needed a watch to wear to the beach, to the movies, and to less-than-safe areas. This Timex has exceeded all expectations. Owning a Rolex Datejust w/gold fluted bezel, Speedy and Bulova Lunar Pilot among a few, I really appreciate this Timex. It looks much more expensive than it should, is comfortable, and it has Timex' incredible Indiglo feature. Surprisingly, the Bulova Lunar Pilot is my daily driver, but this Tinex sees an incredible amount of wrist time.
This was the first watch that I got myself when I started caring about time and time telling a year ago. I can not say enough good things about this guy! It is solid overall, keeps a great degree of accuracy, the chrono hand hits every marker. It is a terrific watch and at under $50 is one that I feel okay wearing on hikes and being a little rougher on. You can't go wrong with the Expedition Chronograph!
I was given a Timex before I went overseas and it went thru my tour of duty as an infantryman without any issue. Ocean, swamps, rivers, and lots of beating and just kept on ticking!
Got mine this week. I appreciate the texture of the metal finish (different strokes). I think it looks rugged. Mine also came with an od green, NATO style band. It's a bit tough, but it'll get more comfortable with wear. The hands in the Chrono needed adjustment out of the box, and it took me a couple days to stumble across a video explaining the steps. I wasn't aware it was built in! I have heard the timer will run for 4 hours but have yet to figure that out. Mine seems to stop after 30 minutes. Still digging. Having switched from a Samsung smartwatch that I've been wearing for 4+ years, it's been an adjustment not automatically looking at my wrist when I hear notifications on my phone... But it's also been refreshing to have something so simple and so much less distracting. it's a nice piece for anyone still on the fence.
I was screaming at the top of my lungs Everytime you said indiglo. Great review though. I've had this watch for four years without a battery change and it has been my go to beater for work. Looks great on a black nato.
I now have three Timex watches and for the price you can’t argue, just picked up the Timex activity tracker which also tracks your steps and distance. Love it is my beater watch
The chrono hand actually hits the markers better than the running seconds on this example at least. I currently enjoy a Timex digital Atlantis 100 which IMHO is one of the nicer looking digitals out there. I must say I'm very impressed with the watch reviewed here and you cannot beat the price for what it does. Seiko also has very fat hands on some otherwise very nice looking solar chronos. Enjoyed the review and everyone have a great day.
I absolutely love this watch. It looks amazing, keeps time well. However, the digital chronograph broke and when I sent it back to Timex, they were unable to fix it as they no longer have the parts. Gutted! they sent me a credit to choose another watch, which I did, and then they sent me the expedition back, which I didn't mind because I love it! Still wear it 2 years later.
I used to have a Timex that was around $50 that had a chrono, rotating bezel, screw-in case back, screw-down crown, stainless steel case and case back, and think it may have even had solid end links. It actually had a ton of great features for the money.
Great review. I own 60+ watches both new and vintage and I wear an expedition every day. It is my morning workout running watch, the I change out for something else. Absolutely excellent watch! I wear it on a Hadley Roma leather/canvas strap and super. Indigo a little dark because of dial, but amazing value across the board.
My everyday wear is a 39mm Timex Expedition T40051 Field watch with the olive dial and a khaki 18mm NATO strap. It sat in my trunk strapped to my go bag for a couple of years, but one day I took it out and started wearing it and haven't stopped. I've owned it for several years and am just about to have to replace its original battery because it's losing track of time, not even because it died. It's $55 with a nearly identical design to the $400-500 Hamilton H69439363 Khaki Field watch, minus the movements. Timex offers very affordable and very reliable options for everyday wear.
Lume is great, and I love it when it glows like crazy, but I find myself disappointed every time it dims. Now indigo is outstanding and satisfying. You didn’t show the indigo, the best part. Holding the indigo button for a few seconds also sets it to extended mode. Unreal for the cost.
Ive had an expedition (with an LCD digital window) for about 8 years now as my daily work watch. My suede strap is still going strong, although it has mutated to a nice worn leather now. Two nice features that are the same as mine are the perfectly stepped buckle so the strap lies nicely flat and the case back has the strap width engraved on it. Great video as always, i appreciate the open minded reviews of value watches.
Yeah the indigo backlight dial is the coolest feature, I believe exclusive to Timex watches, the entire flat black dial glows brilliantly blue pushing the button..
My Chrono has the 4 oclock date also but check this out, the watch has a blk face, no border around the date but the date has a white background with blk numbers to match the blk face. The white background matches the white dials and white tachymeter numbers on the bezel. My watch looks good.
My first ever watch was a manual wind Timex way back in 1970 , I’ve still got it and I’ve just had it serviced it’s in perfect working order for a watch that’s 50 years old. I have it in on NATO Strap these days but even though its a small watch I still wear it every now and then.
I had one of these for a few years. Went through 3 batteries and replaced the crystal twice before one day I got home and found out the crown was missing. I spent more money repairing the thing that it was worth by a long shot, but I loved it. Maybe I'll buy another.
@@sanketparmar5173 I can’t exactly remember how but I fixed it. I think by pulling the crown into one of the positions in using buttons you can adjust this
ive owned a timex expedition for 8 years, it is still ticking, changed the battery last two years (thats my first change). the backlight still works and non noticable scratches on the mirror (i use it heavily). the band though, ive changed it from leather to "nylon-like" strap...
I have an old Timex indiglo not currently on a strap, that I use at night (but at a distance). Its that's that loud, it would wake a bear from hibernation. But it takes me back to my first watch, a manual wind marlin which I'd listen to. Its not popular to "hear" watches today, but that's how it was back then, at the cheaper end of watchdom!
In less than two months, bot of my Timex Expiditions had their winding crowns break and the catch is no jeweler can repair it for less than the cost of the watch - not a fan
My go-to beater watch for three and a half years. I wrapped up my MS in biology last year and have been doing environmental consulting work, mostly dealing with aquatic biology. While I was in school I realized I wanted a chronograph because my thesis had timed sections of the stream and I didn't want to mess with my phone stopwatch in the middle of a creek. This watch has survived hot and freezing cold temps, getting banged around, getting muddy while digging crayfish burrows. I wish they had a slightly more expensive option with sapphire or someone made sapphire mod option (but oh well, it's a cheap tool watch). I've gotten plenty of compliments on its look, too. The leather holds up pretty well, with no de-lamination, but I swapped out for soft silicone because two months of ten hour daily hikes for work over 100F heat index in VA just made the leather gross looking, but it's still is structurally sound. I also got dive certified wearing this watch and I've done numerous dives at or above 60' with it (I mostly have to dive creeks, rivers, and lakes) and haven't had any leaks. I also like that when you keep the crown pushed down long enough for the indiglo to blink it keeps the light on for 3 second intervals and using the pushers in that mode also activates the indiglo. Sorry for the long comment, but this $50 watch has exceeded my expectations!
I have this watch, and I LOVE it. Problem is, it's TOO nice looking. I never want to wear it when I'm doing anything where it might get scratched or otherwise beat up. I find myself still grabbing my $15 digital for anything like yardwork, sports, working in the shop, etc.
I just bought a Timex expedition scout and so far I am quite impressed with it for the price. I have several much, much more expensive watches but after nearly scratching the shit out of my higher end citizen this morning I decided to get the timex for beating around. I love more expensive, very nice/fancy looking watches but prefer a cheap beater day to day and the nicer watches for going out with friends, dates and work. These 30-50$ timex's tell the time better than any fancy auto, are much less delicate and actually have some really cool designs. If they upgraded to a japanese movement there would be no point in buying many other affordable watches if you like the designs. It reall pisses me off when people look down on super affordable but well built watches. They absolutely have their place and I love my little scout. Will for sure be picking up a few more timex watches.
Honestly Timex are some fantastic watches for the price, or any price for that matter. They work and they're rugged as hell. I've had Timex watches that have lasted years without any attention paid to them. Beaten and bruised, but still ticking. I've got some nice watches, but I always find myself wearing my Timex watches
I have a previous version of this. Great watch. The thing I did not like is that it is almost impossible to put the caseback on after changing the battery. You need a press. I have some tiny crack marks on the crystal trying to push the caseback in as I did not have a press. It should be easier
I have had this watch for about 10 years (gun metal bezel and monochromatic arms). I do alot of endurance/cross-terrain runs with lot of salt water and mud. Mine came with a leather nato strap. BEST. WATCH. EVER.
Argh. Indiglo is a Timex’s best feature. And was missed. Should read the sticker before tossing it. None the less good review and you got me to both laugh and scream at the presentation. Subscribed.
I have had multiple of these Expeditions for more than 10 years and all I have to do is switch the Band and the Battery once in that 10 years. I have also had multiple Weekenders and a ton of straps. I think they are the most versatile budget watches, you can dress them up or with jeans and a tee.
The Timex Expedition watches are probably the best "bang of the bunch" watches ever created for the price. Most expensive watches do not provide anything close to what the Timex Expedition watches do. It's crazy!
This was my first chronograph watch. I remember seeing it and thinking “nah I don’t need a chronograph. I don’t even know how to use it” only to go home and look up a video on how to use one, solely to justify buying it. Although I’ve enjoyed watches since high school, this watch was the one that really drove me into the passion where I started learning about the different watch brands, movements, histories, etc.
I have twelve watches. I have one "nice" Citizen watch that I wear for special occasions but the rest of them are various Timex Expedition models and I wear one daily. I love the ones that came with "fast wrap" straps but the few that didn't I replaced with Nato bands. The one I wear to work is slightly scuffed but otherwise shows no signs of quitting.
the first watch I ever bought for myself when i got a job was a Timex expedition rugged field chronograph back in 2012. this is of course the newer iteration but for an inexpensive watch to have great functionality, totally bang for buck. i did cringe a little about the indiglo mishap but as you said it's your first time having a timex. indiglo is probably its most used feature. nice review tho. Timex is a good brand i was rocking a Timex Ironman in the shipyards of South Korea before i finally decided i want to just keep it as my running watch and got a G-Shock GG-1000 for my daily spelunking in a ships hull. cheers!
I have two Timex Expeditions in my collection and I think they are quite a good value. My collection includes 5 watches over 500€ each, so my spectrum is wide. The legibility with the Expedition series is very commendable. I think they have done their homework and taken their time to make very competitive products. The new Marlin and that other funny throw back thing are way over priced and would never consider buying them.
I'm Irish and we sadly don't have timex in Ireland. I need to go to the us hopefully in a few years to get a timex as I like their simple designs. Great video and I love certina watches, they are such an iconic watch owned by swatch company.
I own a solar powered Edifice Chronograph. In my experience it is very good. Like all Casio's though the lume is not very good but they are really accurate in time keeping which is what you need in a watch. Build quality is excellent. My watch has a sapphire crystal also which is excellent for the £70 that I paid for it here in the UK.
The hands though on this watch ... nice! But the chronograph stopped? After how long?? I've never heard of a battery-saving mode. The cronograph is marked for up to 24 hrs, so can I not choose when to stop taking time??? And a Super-Luminova costs ... so for the price, this watch seems to be a find!
19 years in law enforcement on the night shift. Always wear a Timex Expedition for several reasons. 1: the raised bezel keeps the crystal safe when you hit the asphalt, poles, walls etc. 2. the Indiglo light is great! PRESS THE CROWN 3. Cost.
Timex fanboy checking in, glad to see the Expedition on your channel! Maybe you could check out some of their collaborations w/ Todd Snyder (i.e. the Blackout Marlin or the Mid-Century).
You know what would be a welcomed return? A Timex Expedition reminiscent of the Tuna can style with the slide rule and tachometer but that it goes to 1000 kinda like Breitling. Along with chronograph 3 subdials. Silver tone is nice but SS with that black hardened DLC coating IS awesome. People pay the extra premium for that black color. If they like the numbers great, if not, indiglo.
This is my daily driver when I don't feel like wearing one of my fancy watches. I've worn this in lakes and every other daily task and absolutely love this watch. The light up function lights up the entire watch face!
I live in Panama. I just recently bought a casio watch and come to think of it I have not seen any Timex's for sale down here. I am very impressed with the watch and appreciate the review.
I bought this watch from Amazon back in 2017 for $25 on sale. I use it primarily as a work watch and it has stood up. I replaced the battery and strap in late 2020. Looks great, feels great, well worth it
LOLS, I have that watch that you reviewed, as well as the weekender you mentioned. Some of my favourite watches. beautiful. There is a difference between yours and mine T49905. Mine has the word Timex engraved on both back-case and the buckle instead the E. To get the indiglo effect on any Timex watch you have to press the crown down. It is not lumino effect like you thought, but the battery lights up the dial.
I own both the Expedition and the Weekender. I have several criticisms of the former. It is a very large watch, maybe too much so for my medium-sized wrist, but I usually wear long-sleeve shirts, so I can live with the size. My biggest problem is that I find the dial a slightly confusing, especially in low light. The Indiglo function doesn’t seem to work well with the black background. I bought a white dial version of the Weekender-much easier to read, even without the lighted dial feature. It is admittedly not as well made as the Expedition, but its 40mm size wears better on my wrist, and it is considerably less heavy.
@@sanketparmar5173 Is hard to tell. I bought mine in Oct 2016 and still working "like a champ". I'll say five more years before I have to change the battery.
I own this exact watch. In fact I am wearing it today. The only glitch is that it doesn’t keep the date setting very well. At least mine doesn’t but it’s not a showstopper. I also own the weekender with blue / green NATO strap and several other Timex pieces
I bought this 2 years ago. I wear it almost everyday. I love the chrono. I absolutely love the indiglo backlight. Got a cheap ebay nato strap with black accents and voila a perfect field/military watch woth a chrono and a date function. The jumping hour selector is nice as well. All that for 75 euros. Can't beat that to be honest.
Hey Jory, was wondering how you feel about the G-Shock DWD5500BB-1. Thought the design looks great compared to normal squares, and I love to see FRI instead of FA', haha. The strap might be a weird one though. If you think it's worth your while, do check it out (perhaps on the channel?). Good video as always, cheers.
Hey Jory, I was just looking back at some older vlogs, and I saw your review of the TIMEX. The Indiglo function works by pressing the crown, then the whole face lights up. That's on top of the woeful lume. Someone may have already pointed this out, but I watch RUclips via my Cable supplier here in New Zealand and you can't see comments without actually going to a Laptop or phone. I've had a few Timex's in the past, but have just picked up a TIMEX Waterbury as it has a tiny bit of heritage value... nice watch.

I just used my timex on a cave expedition that was alot of water, mud and alot tight crawling and banging of body parts arguably the most you could put a watch through and it survived without a scratch and it was submerged almost thr whole time
I shower and swim with my Timex have had it 10 years so far.
Timex was making watches since WW2, before that they were making clocks in Waterbury Conn. since the 1850s called the Waterbury Clock Co.
I was given a Timex before I went overseas and it went thru my tour of duty as an infantryman without any issue. Ocean, swamps, rivers, and lots of beating and just kept on ticking!
This is true bro. Same with my timex. Very durable brand. I don't know why this is not so famous.
Timex is my first watch and the best watch I ever had it lives up to it's name I have had citizen. Bolivia, and more excellent watch company
Hmmm. Nice, confidence giving ramble of the minute hand when setting the date.
I am surprised, really surprised, that T3 missed the most important feature that sets Timex apart from all other manufactures.
Can you pls tell the watch name code or share the link
Great review. I own 60+ watches both new and vintage and I wear an expedition every day. It is my morning workout running watch, the I change out for something else. Absolutely excellent watch! I wear it on a Hadley Roma leather/canvas strap and super. Indigo a little dark because of dial, but amazing value across the board.
Bro the dial lights up that's what indiglo is
justin martinez he just too stupid to read the manual i think
@@izuddinazmibinazizan9270 it comes with no manual. Yes I know, fucking stupid it doesn't.
Izuddin, yeah, I agree.
You forgot the backlight feature.
And maybe:
Skyrim
Witcher 3
And RDR2
I love the lumes on the hand dials. Please sir push the crown to activate the indiglo. Well I have one.
Mmm I like the color of the lume. I thought with indiglo you press a button like the crown and the dial lights up. Good review 👍
You do, but he completely missed it.
Timex bands usually last a few weeks, long enough for the better one you ordered to arrive!
You could tell us this story in 5 mins, Jory. Never mind the indiglo fail - why 21 mins to explain this? Brevity is an art form.
The longer the video the more the person gets paid, if all his videos were 5 or 6 min. He wouldn’t make any money.
If you want brevity just read the description on their site. You came here to hear what he had to say.
@@scotthewes2431😂😂😂not how it works its purely based on views 10.000 views is roughly 12 bucks 😂😂😂
My first ever watch was a manual wind Timex way back in 1970 , I’ve still got it and I’ve just had it serviced it’s in perfect working order for a watch that’s 50 years old. I have it in on NATO Strap these days but even though its a small watch I still wear it every now and then.
Thank you! I saw one of these at Target and didn’t trust it. I’m going to go back and get one. Great video!
I had one of these for a few years. Went through 3 batteries and replaced the crystal twice before one day I got home and found out the crown was missing. I spent more money repairing the thing that it was worth by a long shot, but I loved it. Maybe I'll buy another.
Why is the Chrono tenths dial always not 0? It’s at like 1..even when resetting the chronograph
I faced this too.
If you press down on the crown, it'll turn on the Indiglo! You forgot the best thing about timex!
18:38 you do know that if you push in the crown the entire face lights with indaglow glow function.
My favorite shop watch. Tough, comfortable, and the chronograph is excellent for easily timing glue-ups and paint coats with gloves on.
Welcome to the Timex club Jory, glad you finally made it.
Hahahahaha finally. Too funny.
I have two Longines in a dresser drawer and a Timex Expedition on my wrist.
It's because we want to know what time it really is.
I love mine! And, lume is not necessary because you have "indiglo" which backlights the entire face.
I find timex watches a bit loud, yes loud, my mom had one and when driving around and her sitting by the side i could hear it ticking.
Takes a licking & keeps on ticking.
me too and I'm deaf
This small seconds hand model is very quiet.
That's how you know it's working...
It's crazy!
If I am not mistaken, the Indiglo function lights the whole face of the watch when you press in the crown...
The one I wear to work is slightly scuffed but otherwise shows no signs of quitting.
i got 20 i love the indiglo replaced all with natos too preatty much lol
Aw This makes me want to wear my Expedition Rugged I barely ever put on.
the first watch I ever bought for myself when i got a job was a Timex expedition rugged field chronograph back in 2012. this is of course the newer iteration but for an inexpensive watch to have great functionality, totally bang for buck. i did cringe a little about the indiglo mishap but as you said it's your first time having a timex. indiglo is probably its most used feature. nice review tho.
What do you think of Casio Edifice chronos?
There's something that bothers me: that chrono hour hand is not zeroing, is it? It's pointing to one...
You can calibrate it
19 years in law enforcement on the night shift.
You really are a Timex noob lol
We all learn something new everyday. Not an insult, this is a fairly unique Timex feature
This is my daily driver when I don't feel like wearing one of my fancy watches. I've worn this in lakes and every other daily task and absolutely love this watch. The light up function lights up the entire watch face!
Great vid Jory & ever so close to 100k subs! Cool watch, but even cooler with the indiglo feature displayed by pushing in the crown. ⌚💡⌚💡⌚💡⌚💡⌚💡
I live in Panama. I just recently bought a casio watch and come to think of it I have not seen any Timex's for sale down here. I am very impressed with the watch and appreciate the review.
Your favorite games:
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
-The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
-The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
I bought this watch from Amazon back in 2017 for $25 on sale. I use it primarily as a work watch and it has stood up. I replaced the battery and strap in late 2020. Looks great, feels great, well worth it
"It was just a smudge, guys, we're good to go!" The story of my life! 😅
The other thing it has is that quartz accuracy!
Really great video, but why didn't you show the backlight feature that the watch has?
Like Times, some models are noisy though. Still reliable
Yep, the "secret is out of the box". I own that watch for a few years now and definitely Love it!
How long it is likely to last according to you ?
@@sanketparmar5173 Is hard to tell. I bought mine in Oct 2016 and still working "like a champ". I'll say five more years before I have to change the battery.
I own this exact watch. In fact I am wearing it today. The only glitch is that it doesn’t keep the date setting very well. At least mine doesn’t but it’s not a showstopper. I also own the weekender with blue / green NATO strap and several other Timex pieces
Don't trust anyone using a watch on the wrong wrist...
Why
I've had a few Timex's in the past, but have just picked up a TIMEX Waterbury as it has a tiny bit of heritage value... nice watch.
Think I just found my new pour over coffee timer.
21:20 Its a sports watch....you are supposed to see the tooling marks, its an intentional machine grained finish.
