Great video! Definitely appreciate the close video angles and detailed steps. Keep them videos coming!
Great video, I didn't know about the plastic having to turn, now I'll take my door side off and fix while I do my left side!!!
Great video. I did this repair and thanks to your detailed video, everything went smoothly and all is good. Keep up the good work!
Great video. I actually went to Lowe’s and got some blue CPVC I think half inch and used it instead. Got 4 feet for like 5 dollars so I’m good for years! Haha.
Very useful, thanks !
I didn't even know I was missing a bushing lol
The nut inside the post on my truck is loose. It feels like it would fall if I pull the stud out. Anyone have a thought about that?
I got that exact bushing kit and like I can see in your video it's too loose on the striker bolt. I think that's the wrong one.
I read on some forums that the nut behind that bolt can fall off, but that doesn't seem to have been an issue here. Did they build some kind of retention on the later OBS trucks? I have a 96 with this issue, just hoping I don't have to tear off the interior door panel to catch that nut.
Use a magnet put it just below the striker before removing the bolt
@@kellismith4329 that was what I did! I used one of those really strong neodymium magnets my ex left on my fridge. Not even sure if it was actually going to fall or not, but it worked well either way lol
I know my 84 f150 did, luckily I had a long magnet!!! Lol
Why buy bushings? Pecs 1/2 inch fits perfect
my door is sagging and have lift to shut
Hinges
You probably ought to change your hinges while your at it. Bushings are shot and the door is hanging
Yup that is the root of the issue, not so easy though
@@kellismith4329 I know. Replacing anything that has to do with the door is a pain in the ass!
