1:36 the camera isn't fast enough to capture 2 frames at that distance because of the speed of light, light is just way too insanely fast
It's much more likely to be from the scanning of the camera. Let me elaborate
In order to take a pic the camera saves the values of the sensors one by one or in small chunks, typically line by line from top to bottom, so somewhere between scanning the tv and the reflection the next frame was displayed and the new light was reaching the bottom sensors
This doesn't mean it isn't stupidly rare to get this, those scanning rates are fast
If you wanna see more of these effects it can be found by searching rolling shutter and is very prominent on propellers and helicopter blades
another cool thing to do with cameras is to sync the framerate of a video to a birds wingflaps, looks fricken *Weird* but also *Cool*
Either way, it still proves that the speed of light is finite and that photons act like particles when reflected off of a surface.
@@davidguthary8147 no it doesn't actually prove that, if light were travelling instantaneously the explanation of a slow (comparative) moving shutter effect along with frame change is a sufficient explanation
To eliminate that you would want a single or 2 perfectly synced sensors, not the millions in a typical camera, if you still want a similar setup (i.e. the light travels 2 paths that meet at the sensor) you would need a much higher freqiency of change in the source, the sensor would need to be very fast in recording to eliminare the possibility of overlapping readings and you it would need to be scaled up quite a lot as the speed of light is stupidly huge (roughly 3*10^5 km/s)
NDT_DYNAMITE my physics teacher did this with a strobe light to make a piece of string spinning at a high frequency look stationary, then stuck her hand where the string didn’t look like it was and stopped the entire thing. Pretty cool

As far as I understand it (from comments sections of videos on this channel, not from having seen it first-hand), it's a character in some sort of Minecraft animation series, voiced by Seymour.
It's a character in a Minecraft series by a RUclipsr named Aphmau. He voices Travis in the series and a lot of people only know him because of it
*litterally stumbled onto Seymour while looking at Tumblr videos and didn't learn he was even a proper voice actor until I had already watched several of his videos*

I didn't realize you voiced Travis for quite a while after finding your channel, and when I realized there was a moment of 'wait a minute-' as I checked a description box lol. On the upside, this channel is most definitely separated from that, I think of you as the tumblr man rather than Travis, as I'm sure most do.

Fun fact, that pickle thing has nothing to do with photons! It's because most modern cameras have rolling shutters that go from top to bottom.
Edit: I could have stated this much better, it does involve the movement of photons, but not precisely. A rolling shutter captures images from top to bottom, or side to side (top to bottom in this case) it's just a matter that it took long enough to capture the lower part of the image that the reflection was different.
I mean, it shows that it took long enough to get to the bottom that a whole new set of photons showed up...

1:40 This has nothing to do with Einstein's relativity. It's just that the camera sensors doesn't scan the whole image at once, so when it was scanning the top the mouth was closed and when it was scanning the bottom the mouth was open. If this experiment was so easy to recreate, we'd know.
My cat does one extra step on closed doors, he puts his head against the door and tries to pushes it open. So many times I've open the door and he nearly falls. Thank you for your videos they have been giving me something to smile about through all this.

Not gonna lie that dark Looney Tunes remake was actually pretty great.
It lasted two seasons and had a handful of surprisingly deep narratives, as deep as a serialized dark reboot can have anyway, and was unsurprisingly cancelled due to poor merchandise sales
You can see how many people have no clue who Travis is and I'm over here chuckling to myself because _I didn't know who Travis was VA'd by until I came upon you one day._

Yeah, Loonatics was cheesy, but I still liked it. I’m sorry but it’s literally two of my favorite things in one. Looney Tunes, and super powers. About the pickle pic it's more likely caused by a rolling shutter. Where the camera reads the sensor line by line and somewhere between the bottom of the tv and the top of the table the frame updated.
