yes, finally, one that's exactly it in my experience. i distinctly remember like one year where english/literature was purple for some reason, but otherwise its always been that way.

In my case Math was blue, French, or if you prefer Literature (I'm French), was red, Physics/Chemistry was generally black, grey or white, History geography and Social studies yellow, biology green and English always dark blue. Italian was green while I still learned it. Haven't spoken a word of it in four years.
Now my programming classes go in the black, white and grey folders, math, English and literature kept their old colours, economy earned the yellow one and "Personal Projects" (yes there was a class literally named that) was supposed to go in the green one but I barely did anything that could be put in the folder. Or anything at all during that class.
