I’ve had my S95C for a bit over year and I am lucky to have not to have had blackout issues with my 4090 PC or PS5 the entire time. Best tv I’ve ever owned.

Wish I was that lucky, I bought it and blackouts happened as soon as I put my ps5 on it.
So I returned it and got the LG G3.
Glad you solved it, they changed the Connect box to me but the problem continues, for this aspect the g4 65

Thanks 4 the video. Just so everyone knows, theres 2 different blackouts. 40gb ports rely on DSC which isnt a perfect technology, it causes blackouts when alt-tabbing in windows. The other type is random blackouts which is caused by a faulty chip in the OCB. My blackouts went away after that was replaced, however weeks later it failed again. Id be interested to see if yours does again. Hopefully not I wish you luck :)

If that’s possible I would love to see what can be done.
I had the same issues when I had the S95c and I don’t even have a PC. It was dropping out whenever I switched HDMI Inouts and half the time just switching between Apps.
I'm happy you got it fixed. Sounds like they finally got PCB for the one connect box. I wish they would of had that when I had them come out for the repairs. At least it's good knowing that they are improving in central Florida. Just curious was it a guy wearing a DMX sweater and a Asian guy named Tim and Larry?

Nice. Just to confirm what you said in this video: you didn’t get a new OCB for the S95C but instead you got a logic board replaced within the TV/panel and so far haven’t seen any dropouts. I have read reports of people who needed to get their OCB replaced to resolve dropout issues. Thanks!

interesting tidbit - if you do the S95c "Hack" on the S90c you no longer get updates. I did notice a "radical" brightness increase once I did that hack though. I don't know how to feel about that. I feel like I'm missing out on something. :)

Hello allabouttkk. I have a question I am hoping you could help me with. If not I understand but I really don't know who to reach out to. I own a LG C3 and it's a great TV for the most part. however, when gaming on the PS5 the picture tends to look somewhat washed out. I've tried messing with some settings and it turns out that if I change the video range within the brightness settings from auto to limited it gives a boost of contrast and fixes the washed out appearance but in turn it crushes blacks. I understand you owned some LG OLED so I'm hoping you may have some tips. Perhaps to either to have more visible dark areas when using video range limited or deeper blacks when using auto video range. Thanks
Issues is that I don’t own the C3, I’m not sure really what its limitations are brother.

Bro be aware, I had the board replaced in my one connect box on my s95c, it was ok for 2 weeks, then it all started again, I’m Serously not happy, trying to get the tv replaced through the retailer, which is a shame as I live the tv
Yessir currently running more game play and tests on it.
@@AllAboutTKK yes keep testing it, like I said it was ok for 2 weeks, I was happy, then started slowly, like one blackout every few hours, now it’s back to what it was before, a factory reset of the tv seems to help a bit but it starts again, and this is ps5 and series x, don’t have a pc

@@AllAboutTKK yes I’m pissed off, only had 3 months the retailer saying maybe they can swap out for something else, but once you have qd oled you can’t go back, I’m looking at the s90d 77 but not out in in till end of June apparently

Question: If you set the tv to 1440p/144hz, would you still have dropouts as I'm under the impression it only happens when it's at 4k/144hz

@nathanmeduri5781 is how I can answer your question. Blackouts have occurred under 4k 144 I specified in this video.

@nathanmeduri5781 all tests are needed, that’s what talking points are for.
The video I’ve made has had the tv blacking out when not even gaming, just idle work on pc.
Ultimately it’s a 4k tv, reducing to 1440p isn’t even an option to consider for what’s its paid to do.
I understand your curious but just wanted to make sure I stood firm on a reply.
The tv hasn’t blacked out since this part has been replaced on the one connect box and so I’m happy but it’s also no longer a “main” game tv anymore either.
Imagine buying this tv on launch and having to wait almost a year for a fix. Could've waited a year to buy it with deep discount🎉
Thank God for my position where I don’t have to wait for discounts. Because at that point I’d be wanting whatever is new then. Tv panels are not a need they are a luxury, in a go big or go home type of guy.

@@AllAboutTKK I did not meant this as a burn, I as well did buy this tv when it launched however i was lucky that these problems occurred at the end of my return window. It just sucks for the people that went pass the return window and where stuck with it.
