S95D just doesn’t come large enough. The limitation this year with QD-OLED is that they decided not to make the size jump, even though they came with Gen 3 tech all the way down to 32”, I think next year they come 83” if not something proprietary and new for an OLED all together.
Those matte haters are so annoying. There is only one TV like that on the market and the haters want to kill it so desperately, taking away the only option for those ppl with bright rooms, who really need a TV like this. Honestly whats the matter with you? Just STFx
Sadly, G4 is so expensive for us mortals living in China. It is sad they don't care about average wages in countries. I know it is nobodies fault here, I do, just wanting to say what sucks for us here ... Example: Average salary is now around 3500 CNY or almost 490 USD. Just an example: G4 55 inch goes for 2800 USD 65 inch goes for 3700 USD 77 inch goes for 7600 USD 83 inch goes for 13800 USD I get that for many reading this, it will sound okay, but again, don't forget the average salaries here. the problem with going over 55inch is grain becomes so much more noticeable. i moved from 55in plasma to 65in s95b and the grain in any medium - long shot of an older (10 years + film is horrible

Going from 65 to 83 is way too noticeable for me coming from a monitor user like myself. It’s way too distracting that’s why I don’t mind getting the G4 in 55.
Really comes down to the tires hitting the road. Was not informative people last year endless get a Sony A95L , like $2000 difference was not even a consideration. I can easily afford it but seems a complete waste of money to me. But for most people wanting a bit of luxury a really bad buy in they have kids to feed and mortgages to pay . In my country the I could get a C3, a Panasonic MZ2000, a S90c, a S95C all in 77" for 40% to 50% cheaper , ie $3000 USD cheaper. The Sony had flaws as well, still does . it's a great TV . Thing is TVs get better and better, That extra $3000 would buy in the best Monitor that comes out in 2026. Any of the TVs i mentioned the average Joe /Jane in the street would be well chuffed . And they have the same experience 99% of time . If may not match the Sony 99% of time but they wouldn't know or care as the game, movie looks great. In Gaming they can plug their Xbox, PS5 , EARC in without a care in the world on the LG or Sammys . I will look at the G4 83" think that or 85" is biggest I want, as it's only a TV and have to stop somewhere.. Unless a rollout/hideaway tech comes . Though a 77" is great as well.
I was curious about the s95d since at release could get the 65 inch for the price of the 55 through epp deal (and wondered how much I would be giving up vs the competition). Waited too long (still waiting to see Sony announcement). Now at lower discount/closer to full price, not looking to spend over $3k.
What's also interesting is Samsung trying to push peoples idea of what flagship is with promoting their 8K Mini LED tv as their true flagship and the S90/95D as "OLED Alternatives" I think though this is their attempt at seeing what the market will say with their money and see if the S95D display is viable going forward.
What's up TKK! Great video as always, I will also be purchasing a 77-inch LG G4. I'm just waiting for the price to drop at $3,500 as I will never purchase a TV when they first release as I believe all TVs are overpriced at launch.
