Hello world, how are you doing?
In today’s video we be looking at how I go about setting up GameCube emulation on my handhelds with the dolphin emulator, using MMJR, MMJR2, Dolphin for handhelds it’s a trilogy of testing games changing settings for each game constantly changing setting to see the best performance on most handhelds with low chip sets. This process can be very cumbersome for me with years of doing it but to someone new it can be very frustrating indeed I hope this little showcase guide give you some tips in to getting the best out of your handhelds regarding this matter of getting the emulation on GameCube to your liking.

Great Video. Im really looking forward to newhandhelds with the dimensity 1200 chip. They seem to be just around the corner and should be decent performance jump.
I'm looking forward to the AYA NEO Air Plus, either the Mendocino or the I3 version, leaning towards the I3 version.
Looking to replace my RP2+. Was considering RP3+, but the LONG awaited KTR1 is tempting.

I got my Anbernic RG505 yesterday. Overall, I'm really happy with it.
There are a couple of things I would change though -
1. I wish it had a fan like the RG405V. That works well to stop the handheld getting too hot.
2. I wish the Power On/Off was positioned on the top edge instead of the bottom edge. I'd prefer not to catch the button by accident and reset the device. The Home/Back button the front of the device like the RG405M would be good too.
3. Personally, I have no use for the Game Mode button on the RG405V or the RG505 at all.
Maybe some people find it useful, but I like using the Daijishō front-end instead of RG_Launcher and never feel a need to switch between the front-end and the standard Android interface.
Hopefully, someone at Anbernic can take these ideas on-board for their next handheld.

I had to say I brought one rg505 with the promise of playing ps2, wii and 3DS. but all this configurations hit me hard, when I saw how n64, psx and psp runs well I decide just play some games I never played in this consoles and wait for some miracle update in the emulators. In 3 months just finish Burnout Legends, Kirby 64 and in the middle of Burnout Dominator, I'm totally cool with my rg505.
It’s a tinker handheld for higher end systems sadly but up to psp it’s awesome
With the new Citra Canary with vulkan support, you can play Pokémon Ultra in 1x, and Zelda OoT 2x. But not all of the 3DS, Wii and PS2 are playable. I could play things like Kingdom Hearts, Mario Kart Wii, Metroid Prime, Guitar Hero 3 very well, but it's still not playable FZeroGX, CoD Black Ops, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and some more cool games.

So MMJR woukd be best option to emulate Gamecube, right? As dolphin has lag
How do I disable the BACK button when I am playing games. I have desperately tried to find something that would allow me to use the B button in a game. But, whenever I do, the Dolphin Menu opens up as if I am trying to leave the game. How is this disabled?
In the dolphin menu you can edit the controller options and set them to how you want them

Need for speed underground 2. I had it running decent then did something and it's barely running now. Also I couldn't get re4 to run even close to that good.

How do you stretch it across the screen like that? All my games on the RG505 are inside the confines of black bars on either side of the screen. Infuriating :(

hi, could you tell me where to find the folder with the save files within this android system?
@@pietroberbenni6355 take the SD card out and pop it in to the PC and find the retroarch folder and I think when you go it to it you will see saves and then you can copy and transfer them to a new device..this is just of the top of my head though..but I will at some point....just remind if I don't. To have a look with a sd card on my pc
@@SonicLoveEmulation The save files for the mmjr2 dolphin are in the /mmjr-revamp/GC/Europe/Card A/GC6P01 folder.

What do you do when the emulator closes as soon as you open it. I was able to play the first time after changing a few settings but the next time I booted it up it just closes the emulator instantly.

My phone has a Helio g80 chip that is basically identical to the chip in this device, but it doesn't run games the same

@@SonicLoveEmulation Worse. I could only get Paper Mario to work at mostly full speed on Dolphin, the rest of the titles I tried didn't run smoothly... The sound was the thing that made me leave playing through... Maybe on my next phone

I can it’s a great handheld in my opinion but there is a new Anbernic handheld on the horizon called the rg405 or you could check out my video on the retroid pocket 3+ video. the rg505 is a solid handheld
