Can you do one of these for the best way to setup Arcade/MAME games? On my RP2 I always just used the MAME v139 Emulator manually. Is Retroarch better and then it can be used by Daijisho (?) ?
Retroarch makes things much easier when using multiple emulators for early generation game systems. It simplifies hot keys and controllers. As for arcade emulation, my preferred emulator is Final Burn Neo. It’s best at emulating the 90’s arcade systems (NeoGeo, CPS). Sega systems are outliers and generally require special emulation programs. Atomiswave and NAOMI run using flycast, which is another Retroarch core.
