      @leighyarnall7346 hey thanks very much!!! The older phantoms are becoming harder to use since software isn't being kept up to date but payload wise phantom 4, convenience for travel and storage mavic air 2S
      (The air2 are too hard to get and too old for firmware etc hence I said air "2S") 🤙

    • @fisheatrepeat
      @fisheatrepeat  Месяц назад +1

      @craigwheaton2506 thanks mate!! Um it varies eh usually I run 50lb. But if going for big fish, sharks liveys etc ill probably run 80lb eh. Its completely up to you 🤙 I've found with the aeroo pro it now use a 300lb loop not trace that connects to the drone eh since is much more rigid easier to use (if you're using an auto release yourself) as the diameter doesn't need to be thin like a manual tension-release

      @goronaf5330 thanks very much!! And thanks for commenting. As for the cart,
      Well... that's a good question cause my answer is DO NOT BUY this particular cart. The wheels are far too skinny and the front axel had the wheels too close together it kept tipping over. I recently bought a much better trolley from burnsco
      Note this isn't sponsored in any way they were just on special (they still are too!)
      Make sure you buy a cart with fat wheels

    The tip at the end for launching a drone from a boat is invaluable. Does this not interfere with the downward sensors?

    • @fisheatrepeat
      @fisheatrepeat  5 месяцев назад

      @Fishingreminder cheers Mark, I learned the HARD WAY when I saved my drone in Fiji... and sliced my fingers to bits 🤣😅🤦‍♂️ and yea you have to switch to sport mode to reduce obstacle avoidance during landing and taking off.
      But really it's similar interference with drone rigs eh and doesn't seem to impact it during flight.
      Also another tip most drones auto power off when you flip them upside down so I grab it then quickly flip it upside down
      I didn't add that in the vid as didn't want someone dropping or breaking their drone and blaming me haha

      First time was here ruclips.net/video/ZPV9VJ7gDTg/видео.html

    Thanks Dave. Once again thank you for this great info! I hope you won't mind if i ask a couple of questions. I also have an Aeroo pro and just love it. What is the optimum time you would leave your line out if no bites detected. And i have also noticed the line drifts wildly away from the drop zone. What is the best weight sinker you would use. Love your channel! Keep up the good work

    • @fisheatrepeat
      @fisheatrepeat  2 месяца назад +1

      @RichardNorthover60 and to answer your question re soaking baits I feel I don't know that myself 😂 sometimes 10 mins works sometimes 30 it depends how big the fish are i think and type of hook. Proper long line hooks "should" hold fish for ages but yea I think 30 minutes usually enough 🤔 as for moving baits.
      Ideally your baits shouldn't move! As I said in the vid try chain-linking sinkers or reduce no. Of hooks/trace to reduce drag.
      Try rubberband/cable tie your sinker prongs so they stay stuck, and also recently I've added about 50m of topshot mono to my reel. As mono absorbs swell much better that seems to have helped too!
      Thanks for the comment tho glad it helped!

    Hi Dave. Absolute newbie here. Your diagram was so good and helpful for me. Will be going on my first trip in a week or two and have a lot to learn. What is the meaning or use of the sacrificial drone trace please? I'm so pleased I stumbled upon your channel

    • @fisheatrepeat
      @fisheatrepeat  4 месяца назад +1

      Hey Richard! Thanks so much for the comment my wife will be stoked someone has finally mentioned it haha.
      The point is to ensure that whatever rig you use, it will always be >4m long.
      And because it's got clip swivel on it I can clip on any fishing rig i want and always know it will work and be long enough 🤙
      It's also called sacrificial because it's only 50lb thickness this is so if I get a snag it breaks off at the trace rather than breaking off 300m of braid etc 👌

    What's is the maximum distance you have casted with baid and sinkers on the aeroo pro.Is it capable of casting between 600 to 800 meters.

    • @fisheatrepeat
      @fisheatrepeat  3 месяца назад

      @StephenBastian-s4u hey mate if by casting you mean flying out the baits and dropping them. I've done 600m. The flight capability is 10km but it would easily do 800m+ i will be doing some bigger drops the next time I go out.
      You just get less drops on a flight
