Can you use this for the Evo 2 drone ? They are the same size
Mine works fine once I drilled the pin hole bigger. Once you mount the unit it puts a band on the pin rod. Making it not line up. I drilled the pine holder a little bigger and it works fine know.

It's pretty nice build! Just the battery isn't last longer than 3hr. But overall it runs as It's.
I made one that can lift cans of baked beans for free with a coat hanger and zipties all you do is go foward and back fast and it drops all u need is the hook part of coat hanger to hold thr item. Attatch it sideways and zip tie it does not bloack sensors and battery can go off and on all with a coat hanger
My suck not long enough now I have to use bottom light of the drone
I have this same dropper and for some reason it only releases some of the time. Sometimes I fly 300m or more out to sea and the dropper will not release. Sometimes it has taken 4-5 minutes of pushing the button before it drops the bait
Is your drone a mavic pro? Im thinking of getting one of these however im unsure if it’s reliable at 200-300m drop.

My only issue is it only works to about 60 feet. I need to try a parabolic reflector or something. The distance isn’t long enough at all
It just using light sensor to Turn on and Off. So, the signal is depending on your drone

@@gigabit7079 I do but I still FAIL. I was watching multiple videos on this then went back in to comment. This was the wrong video for my comment. I have a mini 2 but mine doesn’t work off the drone remote….it has a separate Tiny remote to activate the servo open/close. The little remote just uses a small button cell and says it has a range of 100 feet but it’s not even that far. The design in this video makes much more sense being wired into the drone. So, as I stated, I failed. So sorry!
@@fortyfour6626 Oh, I see! Yes, unfortunately this device on the video just works for Mavic Pro and the great thing is that it doesn't need another remote control to activate the release mechanism.
Would be great if they could do the same for Mavic Mini 2, since it also has a led that can be turned on and off by the app .
A light sensor could easily be attached to the front of Mavic Mini 2 , where the led is and the release mechanism could then be activated at any distance.

It does not come with the drone. The drone name is DJI mavic
There seems to be a problem.. the landing sensors are getting triggered while carrying a load, making the drone want to go higher and higher..
Try turning off those bottom facing sensors in the app. I can't remember exactly where it is located in the app, sorry. I saw that choice today in my app looking for something else.
Does it work on dji mavic pro or only pro 2?

As far as your Drone signal can go. It uses the front Light sensor to Turn On and Off.
@@SaiShiang thank you, seem the front Light sensor are able turn on/off is about 200m distance, i am not sure about this, have you ever tried it? Thank you
@@Donglv There shouldn't be a limit distance for the front light sensor. It should work as long as you have connection to the Drone with your remote. but one thing you need to set up is under setting you need to set on and off to your remote for the drone.

You need to make sure the drop sensor is completely covered to the drone light. And make sure your dropper is fully functional
