Wanted to say thank you - Although I have a Galvo I watched the video and did the tape trick on the roller with masking tape. I thought that I was 12800 but I am actually 25600 and now everything is working perfectly.
I am probably too late to answer your question, but I wired mine in about a month ago. Let me know if you still need help. I can give you a list of parts, and how I did it.
This was a very helpful explanation, I have a Chinese laser. And every video I found seemed to make it more confusing, so I gave up.I am going to give it another shot thanks to you
Have you done or seen any video on wiring in a rotary? My machine doesn’t have a plug for one so I need to install it myself. Looking for some guidance.
hi there i have watched your video so does that mean every time i put a different size object in the rotary i have to work out steps per rotation i thought once you set the wheel size and it does 1 full circle i only had to draw a box in lightburn with the correct circumance and that would do a full circle or am i missing something thanks for your help...
I have an issue where the rotary just keeps going and going when i try to get it to do one spin. It seemed that when I changed steps per rotation, nothing changed even though I clicked «write» any ideas what’s wrong? All the other settings were correct This is a cloudray roller
Could you help me ? I have a fiber laser everything is plugged in correctly into the stepper motor according to diagrams and few videos I’ve seen. But the rotary still won’t turn ? The chuck is fully powered. Any ideas ?
I have a pi burn 3.0 and for some reason my machine will Rasster and vector an image but it is not rolling in the cup. Is there a setting that I am missing? I know the machine works because it spins when I hold it. And on my Riuta controller I can scan up and down to spin the cup. Frame also works to spin the cup but the job or graphic rastering does not.
@@HouseOfLasers Thank you. I found that the prior owner of my machine installed a toggle switch and apparently it was in the wrong position. I knew nothing of that switch but for some reason when I switched it on and allowed the x-coordinate to spin.
hello i have been asking everyone and cannot seem to fix this problem. I get vertical lines in the glass, and the edges are uniformly wavy. wish i had a way to send a pic. but the dimension are correct. i have even tripled both dpi and LPI which really made no difference. any guidance would be amazing. thank you !
Was looking everywhere to figure this out! Thank you

I just found this video when trying to dial in my laser. This was very helpful, and now I am dialed in. Thank you so much.

Update: Following your guide, I got it to work great! thank you
Do you have a FL1390? I have one to and I’m trying to dial in my pi burner. So far I can’t get it to work because it wont spin as it’s being lasered.

can this be done with the chuck rotary also? if so how?
yes, but you'd be basing it on the circumference

You likely have your steps or roller size wrong.. Or you dont have the rotary enabled in Lightburn
