Would you mind sharing the wiring for this? I'm about to do the same thing... You don't have to put the wiring in there for the switch, but it would be nice. I'm interested in doing the same thing for my laser
Should be the same physical set up I would think, you are just connecting to the U axis with a new driver. Software variations might mean you can run it direct or have to send to the panel as I do.
If you have this setup, you cannot control it from RDworks ot Lightburn directly. you can make the designs in them but then you have to SEND them to the controller and run the job from the laser control panel as described in the video. Or do you mean a different part of the setup?
I contacted cloudray laser in Aliexpress where I bought the rotary from and they provided it for me. forum.lightburnsoftware.com/t/solution-u-axis-direct-for-rotary-with-rdc6445s-controller/64469 this is my original post in LB software forum and it has a link to my firmware file you can download
Thanks! For making this video!
Perfect. Just what I was looking for. Thanks for posting the files and this video for us to use Neil.
I love tinkerers! Next on the list of things to do! Cheers Mate
Esto vale oro. Muchas gracias!

hy. i have the CO2 machine with RDC6445S(CE) with 2 microstep drivers M542C
can i use the 2phase rotry setup for this controller and driver?
A warning. You don't want to plug or unplug the rotary while the driver is on. The sparks from the amperage can kill your driver.
Thanks... looks like I should get myself a 6445-S... what model of drive did you use for the U axis?

Hi! What about Ruida 6442S? Could be possible to enable U axis to use the rotary?

I would love to see how you set this up on RDWorks or Lightburn.

@@busbyfinefurniture Your a life saver many thanks
why not just buy a 4th stepper driver and use that all the time so you dont have to mess with settings all the time?
