My laser longer 40watt b1 is only moving up and down not left and right with the rotary connected any suggestions

Well, nobody helped me so I’ll help whoever might be watching this and is getting confused like I did. The B1 access is not on top. That is the X you need to plug the rotary into the lower left of the frame. That’s where the YXS motor is.

are you supposed to manually move the laser by hand to the location of where your engrave is going to be? I keep getting limit warnings.

You may have the re-home the laser to stop the limit warnings

@@SmitHVAC. Understood. Let me take you through my steps here. Machine off>plug in the extension for the rotary>machine on>enable rotary>hit "test" and I get a soft limit warning.

@@autorepairbymike1356 that's interesting. Manually move the laser to the location you want it in, then hit the position button on the lasers display. It should set its home position.
