Despite the insatiable appetite for SUV’s, the #ToyotaCamry remains the best-selling family sedan in America for decades. For 2025, #Toyota is going all in with the #CamryHybrid which only comes as a #Hybrid for this generation. For the first-time ever, you can also get AWD with the Hybrid powertrain and Toyota has given it a nice upgrade in tech, power, and efficiency.

Happy Thursday everyone! We're so excited to finally be able to share our thoughts on the redesigned Camry today and next week, we'll be posting our review on the Tacoma TRD Pro with the new i-Force MAX hybrid powertrain. @@ibrahimbashir6634 Why are you lying? Savagegeese did not say that wtf 😂 He said this is closer to the Accord compared to the older model.
Accord is also way bigger, with better seats, insanely more rear legroom, and a more powerful and smoother hybrid.
“This does everything better than the Accord” sounds like coping.
Hybrid, traditional door handles, exhaust pipe, interior buttons. Toyota went full big brain on the new design while the rest of the world tries to follow Tesla 😂 Good job Toyota 👏👏👏
Not true there is no V6 and the hybrid system adds weight.
Straight facts Toyota over engineered their vehicles. Hybrids are money maker. Save you lots of money
@@nascartalksandopinionnewsw8589 You can save more money by buying a 15 year old camry with more power. Or just walking every where, maybe moving to a low income neighborhood. Lot's of ways to save money that don't involve an over complicated over weight under powered over sized prius. Toyota is only able to get away with this because honda did the same thing with the new accord.
@@randomyoutubeaccount6906 Actually, people who have reviewed this car have all said it's not the way underpowered hybrids of the past. Anyone who's driven the current Prius knows it goes to 60 mph way faster than the older models. And Toyota has refined their hybrid system for over 26 years, so they know how to make it reliable.
@@Sacto1654 0-60 where this would do best looks between 7-7.5. I love my old E350 with the V6. With that said, this Camry is gonna blow the Accord out of the water. 232 hp and still able to do 44 MPG is pretty damn good.
i am amazed in all honesty. they really hit the sweet spot. i wouldn't mind 200 hp with even higher mileage (AWD)
Not sure what you guys mean by repeatedly saying this. My 2024 Accord is “Damn good” plus quicker with less hp and 51 mpg to boot! Nice Camry tho.

Yeah I have a feeling they're probably going to heavily redesign the Accord since it just doesn't look as good as other sedans on the market. They're still pretty competitive though with the features and interior. I'm interested to see how Honda respond to this since supposedly the sales of the new Accord have not been great compared to the Civic and other sedans.

Sofyan, Making the Camry 100% Hybrid helps create CAFE space for all those gas guzzling 4x4s Toyota has been introducing lately. 🤩🤩
gotta balance it out and deceive the government at the same time
What's a CAFE space?
How? Those 4x4s became turbo/turbo hybrid v6s and i4s. All they did was bring back the land cruiser
@janoycresnova9156 Corporate Average Fuel Economy... basically a standard for fuel economy a manufacturer has to comply with
What’s also ingenious on Toyotas part is that they cut back on engineering, parts labor u have one main engine to fit 60% or more of their vehicle lineup so now u concentrate on that one engine make it bullet proof
This looks pretty amazing, AWD, 44+ mpg, while barely being slower than the old V6 is a huge win. Compared to the Accord, you get more power, better styling imo and AWD, with the same mpg and you get a Pano sunroof as well. This is going to be a huge winner for Toyota.

The thing nobody ever mentions about 16" rims is you'll get better mpg, lower NVH, less tire wear, and better ride comfort. Large rims creates more problems than it solves. This is coming from someone who used to hop up Civics back in the day. Oh yeah, you also get worse acceleration.
Better hydroplane resistance and lower risk of a blowout with more sidewall too! Big rims are about as dumb as can be
17s are good, 18s, ehhh
17 inch rims are ok. Once you go above 19 inches the car will ride like shit
This is so damn nice. I would love to upgrade from my 2019 but honestly I don't drive enough anymore to justify it.

I really don't bother with the rest of 'em much 'cept for Sarah and her different style of competence. Such productions must be A LOT of work. Thanks.
I had a black on black 2015 Camry XSE V6 that I bought new & drove it for a few years & loved that car (My brother eventually bought it as I upgraded to my current white on red 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport four years ago). I'm kind of sad the V6 is gone, but I'm OK with that since I want my next car to be a hybrid. I've recently driven a couple of Lexus hybrids & was very impressed which is no surprise since Toyota/Lexus typically makes the best hybrids.
I just hope they make a GR/TRD version and utilize their 2.4t + hybrid setup and give it the quad exhausts. Toyota is showing that they care about driving dynamics, unlike Honda these days.
Quad exhausts on a hybrid? Don’t forget the spoiler and flame decals on the side too

At some point, I expect Toyota to release a Camry Prime with their plug in hybrid system from the RAV4 Prime. They can’t not. It seems more appropriate for a Camry since it basically makes the same power as the V6 but with better efficiency.
They are building a battery plant which is supposed to come online next year if not mistaken. That will allow Toyota to build a lot more hybrids/prime versions.

Honda is going backwards on the accord while the Toyota is going forward basically because the accord hybrid and 1.5T is still slower than the Camrys new hybrid and gas powertrain combined
The current Toyota design language is on point.
Looks beautiful! Nice style.
good review
I’m not sure why exterior styling is the most talked about thing on this new Camry. Honestly, the majority of people won’t notice that it’s a new car from the rear and side profile. The front end looks updated, but that’s the worse angle of the car unless you’re into a bloated fish look. The biggest improvement here is the hybrid powertrain and updated interior, which are both nice.
I hate the steering wheel so much
Because the old front end was ugly with weird style lines and large fake vents.
Yeah I much prefer the hyundai sonata catfish. Why doesn't it sell more?
No matter how many times we all say the same thing about the gloss black plastic the car companies never get the point! 8:13 glad to see some Toyota designers still remember rear turn signals are amber and separate from the brake lights. I'm disappointed so many new Toyotas inexplicably don't have proper amber separate turn signals such as the new Tundra, Tacoma, Sequoia, Grand Highlander and Land Cruiser. The lack of standardization is baffling and concerning.

Miss the V6 though, thank goodness it still has a ENGINE anyway
Who’s early?
The biggest difference between the camry and accord is that the camry's electric motors work at ALL speeds, and the gas motor works at ALL speeds. Which means way better passing power. The accord past 50mph is stuck with its ancient 20 year old 2 liter 138hp engine so past 50 its impossible to accelerate. The electric motors on the accord no longer work at high speeds. Its either on or off.
Interesting

Makes sense, I’ve gotten my 2021 up to 80mph with no shortage of passing power (for a brief second). I should test an Accord hybrid to experience the difference.
