I've seen a few reviews of this exact car and I can tell you I only saw a few seconds worth of them because the reviewers didn't cut it. I had to go to your channel to get the real facts with some good entertainment.
I agree to the Zonk on the lack of the drivers seat memory. My wife and I both drive each other’s vehicles and definitely use the memory settings. Good looking vehicle, inside and out and the MPG is very good.
Just ordered mine today. It won’t be here until mid June and I’m so excited. Great video. I actually don’t mind the CVT Transmission since I’m coming from a Nissan Maxima.
This generation Camry is the best value of new cars in today's market in my opinion. I honestly didn't expect that. I'm more of an suv person but this review makes me want one Camry.
Previous gen looked a bit more sporty IMO. Biggest zonk for me is previous gen XSE had quad-exhausts. Hopefully they come out with a TRD/GR trim. Interior is a well needed upgrade though. Great vid Joe!
Put a deposit on one of these last week! XSE AWD in midnight black metallic with black badges. If Bruce Wayne bought a Toyota. Targeting Sept-Oct delivery according to my sales guy in Canada. Can't wait!
@@muny_man Kia is a poor man's Toyota. Korean disposible cars. Also, if you don't understand difference between eCVT and CVT you wouldn't understand why eCVT is actually superior to all automatic oe CVT transmissions in terms of wear parts. No clutches, bands, belts, valves, oil pump, etc.
@@kannermwyou are right but kias from 2017 on have been pretty damn good. I know quite a few people who drive everywhere with them and have had little to no issue.
Hey Joe, just FYI you could get red interior in the previous gen XSE😉🤣 great video as always, you make car reviews fun! 2019 Camry SE owner myself and I’m on the fence about the exterior redesign for a few reasons, but really digging the interior!

I really like the interior design, exterior however is not really my taste. Not having a V6 option and especially with a transmission choice only being a CVT is a huge letdown. I'll stick to my 2020 Camry XSE V6
@@Gangstabob716 Yes, its far superior in reliability, maintenance and efficiency and at a minimum there is no comparison with a CVT. None. don't take my word for it. do your own research and you will see for yourself.
@@z1az285 yes it uses electric motor to control the speeds. I'm aware that its used in priuses as well. It still doesnt mean that I'm gonna like the way it drives, you can literally hear the constant drone noises it makes when you see him test driving it. At the end of the day, its still a CVT with no real gears.
This is latest strategy. You want performance they force you into luxury brand at ridiculous prices. No way they put the 2.4L turbo in Camry. They will force you into Lexus brand for $15K more
Completely agree. As an owner of an ‘07 Camry V6, I’m leaning toward a Kia K5 GT or Hyundai Sonata N-Line for my next purchase. Toyota has kind of annoyed me with the direction they’ve been going.
The thing nobody ever mentions about 16" rims is you'll get better mpg, lower NVH, less tire wear, and better ride comfort. Large rims creates more problems than it solves. This is coming from someone who used to hop up Civics back in the day. Oh yeah, you also get worse acceleration
You're right That grill would look massive in other colors except that and maybe black. Really nice to see that fake stick on rear vent below the tail light gone Thanks Joe
This new gen was definitely the deciding factor for me. I just purchased a 2024 wind chill pearl TRD. No regrets especially coming out of a 2018 civic si.
awesome review! Thanks Joe! I own a 2012 Camry and this is definitely a big step up! I also owned a 2022 Ford Bronco for 2 years and it was a just! may buy this generation Camry; Im just not crazy about the CVT! everything else is 👌
Joe I love this car Toyota should win metals for the changes made to it you can see Lexus is all in on this car now the addition of the a/c seats was huge to me my 2020 Camry XSE also had the red leather seats in it only the cars built in the beginning of the years manufacturing can have it it’s very popular and they sell out of that quickly I can’t wait to hopefully be able to buy another one again here it’s my favorite car I ever owned Thanks camera man you did an outstanding job here as well. You definitely make a great partnership here Joe is lucky to have you Joe definitely has the best channel on RUclips and gives the best reviews as well Thank you Joe you are definitely the car man
When the Japanese brands first arrived here, they shocked most of our US brands with their mpgs and build quality. However, they were not refined as to road noise in the cabin, etc. Most of them, JMO, looked blah regarding styling. But this Camry shows how much has changed for the better! The color shades, 2 tones, aggressive front, and coordination with the wheels is fantastic for a family sedan.
Not sure about your comment because before I bought my camry back in the early 90s, I had no idea any mainstream car could feel so plush and comfortable. And I test drove all the others!
Thanks for the excellent review! Loved the detail about the subtle design cues on the exterior. One small thing...the Camry wasn't around in the '70s. It launched in 1983. The 5-door fastback (liftback) had amazing space.
I think the biggest thing they did was almost a complete redesign on the inside. I'm loving it especially with the two tone red and black, the much bigger screen the center console even looks better, but not much in the back area. I would go with maybe having separate ac for back passengers maybe vents up high, and maybe better placement of the charging c-ports.
I was always a Honda kid. have always been a fan of the Accords since my childhood. It was love at first sight and it always had a special place in my heart. Personally, I always like it's styling, ride and handling, comfort, space and performance. The V-TEC Beast is a story for another day. Reliability was never an issue. Sure the Camrys are much more comfier, efficient and reliable, it never had the WOW factor which the Accords had. I also liked the Camrys, but this hit me something different this time around 😍 Yet, fingers crossed until the 2025 Accord will hit the market soon.. Yet, I feel the previous gen was much better and classy with the looks, not sure bout the new one 😑 Also, the V6 is something to be missed 😭
Sometimes people forget that they can lower the price down 😂🤦🏻♂️if you have good credit doe, I tried that on the new Supra it was going for 67,894 and got it for 58,124 and saved 9,770 dollars and that’s a good chunk of money saved now days
Nice job Joe and Co. Good to hear about improved seating in new model, as that was my only complaint about current gen. I guess I'll wait and see how they did, but improved all hybrid efficiency really appeals to fuel saving interests, too, as well as reduced price.
I work at the toyota factory in georgetown building these, and had a 2023 TRD trim with the v6, Really like the new interior and the updated cluster. I liked my TRD but it had just nothing on the interior so we ended up trading it a while back for a palisade, but with this new gas mileage, im considering going SE camry.
Just bought this car today in ocean gem and man the color is beautiful! 😍 I had a 2020 Honda accord 2.0 but man it was a gas guzzler! This car gives me double gas mileage than my Honda. What a win!! 🥰
Nice car, we'll probably get another one....We love our 2019 Camry SE. And I think we got a good Black Friday deal for our car back in 2019. Brand New..We got it for 60/months, 0%ApR interest, with 100k mile warranty/6yrs. And cap coverage..all that for $470/month.
It’s hard to say Camry and think about performance, I see the TRD badges, the spoiler kits, and the dual exhaust and just laugh. I see the guys buy them, and they also “buy” the idea that they’re in a high performance vehicle! I drive a Vette and a M model BMW, these Camrys pull up and want to race! Can someone please tell these guys that it’s a joke? plastic, extra exhaust pipes, and colorful interiors don’t turn their Camry into a Porsche! It’s embarrassing and someone should really let them know.
CVT is a misnomer here and ultimately the eCVT is the most reliable and efficient transmission for a hybrid. Hybrid max with 6 speed TC may make it into the Camry but you ain't saving much gas with it.
Well you definitely haven’t driven one lately then I love it and wouldn’t buy a transmissioned one again now Toyota has done wonders with this car and hybrids in general
I’ve been waiting on this video I love this car I had a 2020 Camry XSE that almost made me leave Toyota all together a deer hit me head on in it 10 days after I got it then I waited 11 months on parts to get here to repair it and they still weren’t here and I was like 15,000 some odd number in line to get mine and if it’s already been 11 months I’m completely out of patients here so I ended up giving it back to Toyota since they couldn’t produce parts to fix it with and State Farm was offering to FedEx them to me but still no parts Since I’m now disabled I couldn’t risk having a car that might break down on me on the road so I didn’t see any other options other than giving it back never mind it was the second one I bought that year and I’ve never even been a day late on a payment on any of my Toyota or Scion cars so now unless they reevaluate there policies here I may not ever have another one but if they do I’ll definitely be buying one of these it’s just how can I get to the right person who will listen to me here.
The full size sedan class has become another money-worthy class once again! Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan their full size sedan is just well built thanks to fierce competition!!!!!
So glad I got my 2024 Camry XSE V6 before they're gone. It's the last Camry every made as far as I'm concerned. This thing is complete junk from a powertrain perspective. RIP :(
I couldnt get a v6 camry up here in NY, they would sell as soon as they came in. Settled on a 2020 Es350 with 13,000 miles on it. Same engine, same platform as the camry with luxury styling. Best decision i could have made.
@@monky0D0rj congrats on the es. That thing will last you a lifetime. I had the same issue getting the v6 here. It took me 6 years to finally get one since every time I’d see a v6 available, it was already sold as well (I’m in PA). With my lease ending on my 21 XSE with standard 4banger, I stalked the dealership website for a month. Finally check last week and they had two of them. One of which was the exact color configuration I wanted and fully loaded. Called immediately the next morning and they actually still had it. They held it for me until I got there on my lunch to test drive it. Told them I’d be back after work and asked them to hold it. Luckily, they did. Drove it off the lot that night. 6 years in the making and I couldn’t be happier. Especially once I saw they did the unthinkable with this new one only offering the slow, hybrid with CVT which I want absolutely nothing to do with.
Am I the only one who’s disappointed with the new look? I don’t hate it but I like the previous gen so much better! Wish we could’ve gotten the updated interior with the previous gen styling!
Same I love the new interior but like the exterior specially the front of the previous gen more than this one, not that this is bad but just a little more liking for a previous gen
The front end is a massive improvement, the body coloured front grill might be too much if you could get it in bright green or orange. The back looks like a Lexus ES

@@RaitisRides You should really double-check before doubling-down. ;) The 8th gen Camry had a red interior option.
Thanks for sharing your input on that one.
The XLE has the memory seats and mirrors along with the rain sensing wipers. A fully loaded XLE might be the best option for you.
Joe, this is a game changer sedan. Fantastic review as always.
Raiti you are a goat I love the energy in the vids! Stay you! 🐐
Thanks for saying that and having my back.
Just ordered mine today. It won’t be here until mid June and I’m so excited. Great video. I actually don’t mind the CVT Transmission since I’m coming from a Nissan Maxima.
"You want to hug a palm tree out here you won't have to.. just put your car in eco mode"😂😂😂😂
I guess the reason there is no more quad tip exhaust has to do with no more V6
@@RaitisRidesBasically no need for it?
My guess is since the rear is the same as the current generation you could get some quads and apply them from a current bumper onto the 2025
@@truckercowboyed2638 how will that help tho
A 4 cylinder doesn’t need quad tips
Put a deposit on one of these last week! XSE AWD in midnight black metallic with black badges. If Bruce Wayne bought a Toyota. Targeting Sept-Oct delivery according to my sales guy in Canada. Can't wait!
"No more 8 speed, no more V6"
Well since i couldnt find a v6 previous gen camry to buy i got a 2020 es350. Cant beat that drivetrain
Glad you were able to find one!
Performance is now ONLY reserved for over-priced luxury brands. Modern day sin tax and mainstream brands are becoming more like appliances. 😢
@@kannermw Well the new Kia K5 GT is a turbo 4cly with almost 300hp. It's also a true automatic

I'll stick to my 2020 Camry XSE V6
the transmission is E-CVT not CVT
@@z1az285 As if that makes it any better?
@@Gangstabob716 Yes, its far superior in reliability, maintenance and efficiency and at a minimum there is no comparison with a CVT. None. don't take my word for it. do your own research and you will see for yourself.
@@Gangstabob716it does and it clearly shows you don’t understand what e-CVT is
@@z1az285 yes it uses electric motor to control the speeds. I'm aware that its used in priuses as well. It still doesnt mean that I'm gonna like the way it drives, you can literally hear the constant drone noises it makes when you see him test driving it. At the end of the day, its still a CVT with no real gears.
14:55 “pickles in a bag” hahaha i love this channel
Thanks for letting me bring the cars and the laughs to you!
Really annoyed there's no V6. They could've at least put in a 2.4 Turbo. That V6 was a real gem.
Fingers crossed that will be added down the road.
Damn Joe now I know you the best in the bidness!! You from Brooklyn dawg!! Me born and raised! Coney Island and Nathan's for life! Brooklyn stand up!
Heck yeah Stefan!
Joee hero master class review especially with the camry 🫡
That’s so really nice of you to say!
Hey man!! Brooklyn kid here! I was by Kings Plaza back in the day! Loving yours an the Mrs. progress on the channel in such a short time!
The thing nobody ever mentions about 16" rims is you'll get better mpg, lower NVH, less tire wear, and better ride comfort. Large rims creates more problems than it solves. This is coming from someone who used to hop up Civics back in the day. Oh yeah, you also get worse acceleration
I've always hated those low profile tires. So easy to destroy with even small potholes. This car needs regular tires.
Copy and paste on every Camry review lol
You're right That grill would look massive in other colors except that and maybe black. Really nice to see that fake stick on rear vent below the tail light gone Thanks Joe
Toyota absolutely killing it. Amazing redesign across the board. Land cruiser, GX, LX,Prius 4runner and tacoma all look amazing
I’ve been waiting for this review. I like the styling, and the price isn’t bad for what you get.
You should have referred to the hot dog as a GLIZZY!!!😂
Good call on that one
As an owner of Camrys since 1987, I LOVE THIS!
First time hearing the price go down for a new car that is fantastic news.
This is so very true! I can’t believe they pulled that one off.

awesome review! Thanks Joe! I own a 2012 Camry and this is definitely a big step up! I also owned a 2022 Ford Bronco for 2 years and it was a just! may buy this generation Camry; Im just not crazy about the CVT! everything else is 👌
I love this exterior so much more than the last model. And the interior is just beautiful. Great review!!
You definitely make a great partnership here Joe is lucky to have you Joe definitely has the best channel on RUclips and gives the best reviews as well Thank you Joe you are definitely the car man
Wowwww I love the New Camry it looks even better than the previous generation
They brought some great styling!
Sheesh! This thing looks great! I remember watching your overview months ago about this car. Seems like just yesterday!
Been waiting for this!!!
I’m so glad that I can share it with you!
And I test drove all the others!
man even after tons of videos of your area descriptions/analogies always get a belly laugh out of me... pickles?! lol
That’s so wonderful to hear! I love bringing the cars and the laughs
The looks are definitely growing on me. That interior is a huge upgrade. Can't wait to see someone upload a night drive!
You are not the only one saying that!
No Thomas Edison light blubs 😂😂 too good bro!! 😂😂
Thanks for the excellent review! Loved the detail about the subtle design cues on the exterior. One small thing...the Camry wasn't around in the '70s. It launched in 1983. The 5-door fastback (liftback) had amazing space.
👏👏GREAT job Joe
Thanks Jarmel for saying that!
It really feels so much better by far!
5mins in and im here!! Gorgeous car
Great to have you here and I’m so glad that I can share it with you.
$40,000 ($42,000 after taxes) for a Camry is crazy!!
Sometimes people forget that they can lower the price down 😂🤦🏻♂️if you have good credit doe, I tried that on the new Supra it was going for 67,894 and got it for 58,124 and saved 9,770 dollars and that’s a good chunk of money saved now days
@@Geor_546 why would they lower the price on a new vehicle? Let’s not forget interest rates are high now. When was this?
@@redman8767able because no one is buying that specific car model that’s why? and this was three month ago, I basically bought it at its msrp price

I have immense respect for Toyota's engineers, but even though the msrp is great, I could not afford to replace those lithium battery packs.
Not needed for 20 years
Non issue really.
Just bought this car today in ocean gem and man the color is beautiful! 😍 I had a 2020 Honda accord 2.0 but man it was a gas guzzler! This car gives me double gas mileage than my Honda. What a win!! 🥰
I'm probably the only guy in his thirties that's had three Camrys and loved them all🎉
Nice car, we'll probably get another one....We love our 2019 Camry SE.
You can tell you was bullied in school pal🤠⚡️

@@RaitisRides had to do it, been waiting on this video since you showed it back in November!
I lost interest in the car when you mentioned it was a hybrid and has a cvt. 👎
It will be interesting to see what they will do in the future
CVT is a misnomer here and ultimately the eCVT is the most reliable and efficient transmission for a hybrid. Hybrid max with 6 speed TC may make it into the Camry but you ain't saving much gas with it.
CVT makes you think Nissan. Toyota has perfected this transmission
Looks very good. Finally TY is having nice looking cars.
