    I just brought one. The drive, comfort, look and fuel economy were great. The red interior is sharp. It drove better than Lexus IS plus it’s AWD AND A HYBRID.!!!

    Bought two 2025 Camry SEs recently. Best midsize vehicle I have ever driven. Former multiple Accord and Altima purchaser. Nothing comes close to all the features you get. You would have to pay $38,000 to $40,000 for an upscale Accord to get the same features. Not only that but the styling and comfortability exceed everything I have driven in this class. It is truly Lexus quality.

    • @GuitarsAndSynths

      and 60-80k for similar level in BMW, Audi and Mercedes! I went Lexus as it was not that much more than a fully loaded Camry. So good! Was tired of money pit German cars!

  • @hassansmw5634

    This is without a doubt the best sedan on the market. No accord,altima, sonata, optima can come close

    • @Jack-pd4ps
      @Jack-pd4ps Year ago +3

      The Accord is the only one that comes close. The Altima is fun to drive but bad road conditions will cause back to back problems.

    • @hassansmw5634
      @hassansmw5634 Year ago +3

      @Jack-pd4ps true the accord is the best out of the other sedans, however with 1.5L turbo engines, the accord isn't going to be a long lasting sedan

    • @Jack-pd4ps
      @Jack-pd4ps Year ago +6

      @hassansmw5634 yup it’s crazy how Toyota basically “downsized” the engines in their bigger vehicles except for the Camry Hybrid. The grand Highlander has a similar setup to the Camry. The Camry is definitely overbuilt and that’s why they last so long. You’d think the new Camrys would’ve gotten the Corolla setup but they still put the 2.5 in it. Lol

    • @hassansmw5634
      @hassansmw5634 Year ago +1

      @Jack-pd4ps
      Toyota downsized the cars that have the V6 and V8 engines, but they won't downsize the 4 cyl cars.

    • @GuitarsAndSynths

      their best engine and tragedy Toyota got rid of it in favor of placating the UN/WEF Green commie climate crazies. We need to revoke CAFE and EPA standards. Make larger engines and oil production great again. EV cars suck!

    • @benignsentient6772
      @benignsentient6772 10 months ago +2

      @coniccinoc That has more to do with the insurance company and the car's flat value, this hybrid system is one of the most durable drive-trains in the world, though that v6 is pretty darn close. With really good care, I have no doubt it will go over 300k miles with ease with little fuss, plus it has a ton of safety features.

  • @canah1

    Definitely agree, with the driving dynamic assessment. Its phenomenal. I daily an M8 competition, and when i drove the new Camry i was floored with the balance of the chasis, and the smoothness of the transmission

    Our 2025 XLE AWD is now at 8k. It's a very quiet, comfortable ride indeed, though the seats are somewhat hard, taking a few minutes to get used to, and lacking side support. Not uncomfortable though.
    The brakes are the best I've ever experienced; great feel.
    We are at just over 47 mpg over 20 tank fills, now dropping a little as the cold weather kicks in. The car warms up quickly too in freezing temps.
    When you need acceleration, it really delivers; very punchy!
    I don't like the Dynamica fabric trim. It should be leather in an XLE.
    Overall, an awesome sedan. ❤

      @raagtop363 Try to be more understanding and less dismissive.
      I’m going to list the advantages of the 16” wheels:
      A. Tires are cheaper.
      B. Tires and wheels less likely to die after hitting a frost heave.
      C. Better ride.
      D. Quieter ride
      E. Better fuel economy
      F. Better in snow and rain.
      G. Far less likely to be stolen.
      H. You are less likely to be stopped by Johnny Law.
      I. Less likely to get curb rash.
      Advantages of wheel upgrades:
      A. Better looking.
      B. Better *dry* handling
      C. Maybe better resale unless they have curb rash, which is common.
      My LE has both available packages - Convenience and Cold Weather and has everything I need. I would have preferred the handling upgrade from the SE, but I didn’t want the wheels.

    • @rembo183
      @rembo183 3 months ago

      I got mine last September and have over 17,000 miles without any problems. Great gas mileage about 42-45 mpg in city and more on interstate with cruise control and slower driving. Net result it’s great but a little boring for my taste! I’m trading for more fun and more features. Going for a BMW 230i Coupe with rear wheel drive. I ordered the non M Sport design without stiffer suspension. I want the better handling and sportier feel and styling. Plus I found the Camry too big/ long. The 230i is reasonably priced starting at $42k. Without the M Sport options you can buy one for less than $50k.

    Camry the best and most reliable car. My mom bought a new 2015 camry during her 50th birthday, she wasn’t really savvy about cars and she drove it until 2023 with 116,000 miles having only 4 oil changes in its life. It looks 8/10 but maintenance was severely neglected. When trade in comes, the dealer paid market price for it and she is now on a 2024 Highlander. Great car. Toyotas are now Premium cars, gone are the days that they are for the masses.

    Hi David,
    Thank you so much for sharing such great and detailed information about cars, I really appreciate it! I have a question about my new 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid. I’ve noticed three different types of sounds from it, two of which make sense to me, but the third one has me puzzled.
    The first is the electric motor noise, and the second is the sound of the combustion engine kicking in. However, the third sound is similar to the combustion engine but at a higher RPM. During this time, the car feels slightly heavier, and I need to press harder on the accelerator. This usually lasts for about 20 seconds, and right after that, the car switches to EV mode.
    Could you please explain what might be causing this?
    Thank you again!

    Went from a Lexus 2005 ES 330 to a 2025 XLE about a month ago. Lexus has always had a great ride. Cant beat the comfort, controls, and mpg of the Camry. I also wish the JBl stereo was louder.

      @patrickbercini2718 The 16s recommended pressure is 38psi. They handle great at highway speeds - not as good as the larger rims and wider tires, but not unstable at all. IMO, the 16s should be an upgrade considering all of their advantages.

    That's a very surprising verdict as someone that grew up in a Camry! Have you compared it with something similar such as Honda Civic Hybrid? or Accord? Just curious how the two may compare? Thx!

    Hi David! When do you think Toyota will put the 5th generation THS in Lexus ESh and Crown Signia? I find it unbelievable that Crown Signia doesn't even have it, as it's the newest flagship from Toyota.

    I agree with you on almost EVERY point - except ONE, unfortunately. True, they’re beautiful, relatively affordable, efficient, and even sexy to some degree. But, for Toyota to build their mid-sized (and mid-priced) sedans for close to forty years now with NO rear trunk hinge covers and ugly, raw metal exposed is just … inexcusable in my opinion. They may add $10- of plastic per side to the total cost, true, but would improve the looks, the safety, and the CLASS of their sedans by leaps and bounds! Such a misstep is surprising, and not cool at all. 😢

    • @billd9667
      @billd9667 3 months ago +1

      Really, the trunk hinges have got you that bent out of shape? I bought one and I’m more upset about the effort required to close the damned trunk. I’m 5’8” with SuperFeet insoles and I can’t reach the trunk lid to close it without standing on my toes. And the springs are really strong. And you have to slam the trunk to get it to catch. Those are worth getting upset about, but not enough to write the car off. It’s just something to get accustomed to.

      @hansgroenewold8116 3 months ago +1

      Well, it is just your opinion. I don't see their logic on that either but how often you look at the trunk hinges?

    David, You are much more of a world traveler than I will ever be but the last time I checked, Kentucky is substantially closer to Canada than Japan is. For that reason I am confused why Toyota brings the Corolla LE Hybrid all the way across the Pacific but refuses to bring the fabulous Camry LE up from Kentucky*. World famous RUclipsr Kirk Kreifels has repeatedly stated the LE is the Camry to get. With snow falling in Ontario as we speak, surely the Camry LE AWD on comfortable 16" rims is the best one for our four seasons. Only when the Camry is again available as a wagon will I consider the possibility that it is superior to the Crown Signia and I bet AMD will agree with me. 😉😉 * I wonder if our PM just rushed to Florida to arrange free trade in Camry LEs. 🤔

      @reludennis Year ago +3

      @rightlanehog3151 my question was : why not a rav4 with higher ground clearance for his snowy Canadian winters? The newer tnga camry/all toyota sedans have very low ground clearance and he will damage the bumper on frozen snow mounds left over from plowing. Hence...why not the rav4?

    Toyota Camrys are “overbuilt” compared to other Toyota vehicles and that’s a good thing. They downsized the engines in the bigger vehicles and kept the same size engine in the hybrid Camry. The Toyota Grand Highlander has a 2.5l hybrid engine while the Camry Hybrid has a 2.5l engine. Camrys are hard to beat.
