Just got the 25 Camry SE in heavy metal color a week ago with convenience package and 12.3 multimedia upgrade package for 29,500 , good looking sporty commute car with 45-48 mpg to boot !!
Convenience package on the LE is $1,050, not $1,500. Smaller 16-inch wheels on the LE mean better gas mileage and cheaper to replace tires. There are some complaints out there about higher trim level options: the 12-inch screen upgraded sound system front door speakers rattling, and upgraded safety tech like eye tracking and front cross traffic warnings being annoying and other features requiring subscriptions, and upgraded seats being less comfortable. Makes me want to stick with the LE + Convenience package.
I purchased the 2025 Camry LE base trim seven months ago and could not be more pleased. The additional accessories on the higher trim levels are unimportant to me, and I do not miss them.
Very nice and comprehensive video ✅! My trim favorites are the XLE AND XSE ✅! I like the red leather seats in the XSE, but I think I'd select the XLE TRIM as my daily driver. I have no desire for a Panoramic Sunroof and I wish Toyota would NOT include this feature in higher-trim option packages 😞. I currently own a 2004 Camry LE (purchased new in November 2003) with 61,600 miles ✅! The MSRP was $15,500 in 2003. Excellent car/daily driver ✅! But over $40K for the XLE that I'd select, optioned out the way I want, is astounding 💸💰😱! Again, a very clear and concise video review ✅! Watching in North Texas 🤠🐎🐂🐄! 🇺🇲🦅🗽💪🙏
Love the styling of the SE, but I would need to get most of the optional upgrade packages. In order to get the heated front seats option (I live in NY) for $500, Toyota makes you get the convenience package as well for another $600. I would also need the Multimedia package for the 12.3" screen for $735. The only package I wouldn't get is the moon roof package. At that point, the price is just about equal to the XLE trim without packages. The XSE would only be about $2k more as well (without any packages).
Two weeks into my new xse black over white. Didn’t get any premium upgrades but the only thing I’m missing are the jbl speakers. Might have to upgrade those. I’m loving this car more every day I drive it!
The SE without a moonroof is my preference. It just looks a lot better and has more comfortable seats than the LE. I can't fault those who prefer the LE, though. If you're considering the XLE or XSE, just pony up to Lexus.
I do a lot of highway driving so sound insulation is the most important thing to me, thus XLE would be my choice, I would really love to have the JPL sound system without the stupid panoramic sun roof
I was leaning toward the XLE but the leather seats have cloth trimming, so the XSE might be a better option. My concern was the ride might be harsher with 19" wheels, but in our Mercedes 350 GLC we had 19". I feel cheated getting my 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid as the Honda Accord would be quite similar. Had to pay $500 for spare tire kit (Camry includes one). Honda cheaped out and did away with engine temp gauge, individual tire pressure readings, and hybrid battery warranty is less than Toyota. Camry also has more hp and similar EPA figures too. Appreciated you mentioning the e-AWD issue. Thought it might help resale, but wouldn't use here in desert very much. You're right that those that desire AWD will likely steer to a RAV 4. Thanks for all the detail.
I just got the Blue XLE with the Moonroof package for $36K, it's a very nice car. I sold my 2005 Blue Avalon to my brother and he is very happy (only 133000 miles). We looked at a white SE trim and they wanted a $1000 just for the heated seats and in in the video I see it says in the LE $610 for not only the heated seats and the steering wheel as well and only $500 on the SE. We were told that it wasn't possible to put HomeLink on the SE, what is wrong with that dealership? The XLE came with everything I wanted plus all the safety features. So another story, I had to look up all the paperwork to sell the Avalon to my brother, well it turns out we financed $16000 on the Avalon 20 years ago @ 5.03%, payments were 316 a month for 5 years, looking at the lien release we payed it off in 3 years. So now with the 2025 XLE Camry, we financed a little over16,000 @4.99% and our payments are $316.21 a month for 60 months. I've set it up to pay $200 extra a month
For many years, Toyota hybrid owners get used to the smart access doors that are now optional despite having the push start. This is annoying, when you have to dig into your pocket to unlock the doors, and then you have to put back the fob into your pocket because you don't need it since it is a push start. . The basic RAV4 hybrid comes with no smart access doors but at least you got a regular blade key, that you don't have to to put it back in your pocket because you need to insert it in the ignition.
I choice se awd or fwd bc style front grill and the back look sportier than xse trim also best value trim and fun to drive(same as xse) , under 40k, good mpg.
I've decided to buy the 2025 Camry SE. Here in Texas, I see most dealers have a bunch of outrageous addons packed in like a $500 dash cam, $450 cargo netting, paint proteciton, etc. I'm hoping to haggle down but these are apparently selling very well so I'm worried I won't be able to get a great deal.
The prices listed in our videos are typically the base msrp for the trim. Once cars get to dealers they will have destination fees which are typically over $1,000 plus any other fees or involuntary dealer add-ons or accessories
I got a SE with the convenience & weather package. It listed for $33.542. that included Port of entry add-ons and destination. we settled at $31 087. After TT&L it was 34.000
I'm so glad I didn't pass up my reservoir blue SE with moonroof and convenience package! The panoramic roof is a hard pass for me, given all its potential issues. I actually prefer my smaller infotainment screen since anything larger just seems excessive to me.
Great video. No folding mirrors available and in XSE form not even an option for seat and mirror memory?? FAIL, Toyota. Some might say that's Lexus territory, but memory is avail on the XLE... As for the Lexus ES - no option for AWD (which should be mandatory as it has no real MPG penalty)... It's important enough for me to need it, so the Lexus is dead to me. The XLE AWD looks like the car, but I'm still having issues with $40k and no folding mirrors. Ghetto, Toyota...
It appears to me, if one wants an XSE Camry, the dealerships or Toyota, forces the consumer to take the defective full glass roofs at a cost a $1330. Which is really stupid, because I will never buy a car with a glass roof, especially a defective one that shatters while sitting in the owner's garage. Then Toyota will refuse to warranty the roof, saying it's the owner's fault. So, because of this stupid decision by the new management, I would need to settle for the SE, not the XSE with the defective full glass roof!
Absolutely the best video comparing the Camry models on YT, hands down. Finally.............
Thanks.
Thank you!! So happy it helped

Sounds like a great deal, congrats!
Lease just lowered to $279:00 / month…..
@Troystoy where? I live in Fl, and the se with same multimedia package costs around $34k. Is that out the gate?
@ I’m in central Ms , yes sir it came to that number OTD
@@Troystoy thanks!
Factual, concise and strait to the piont comparison! Well done!
Thank you!!
Great video! I have been searching for a video like this doing a comparison between the different trims. Thank you!
Thank you, happy to help!

16 inch wheels make for a more comfortable ride and less gouged up rims from hitting curbs.
Very well done and explained. Excellent job of breaking down every nuance regarding each model.
Thank you, hope it helped!
Just bought the SE and LOVE it!
Congrats, that’s awesome!

That’s awesome, thanks for sharing!
XSE, head-up display, and audio equipment, are my Top picks. Thanks for the video, handy for deciding
Awesome choice, thanks!
Greatest reviewer ever
Thank you for your continued support!!

Thank you!! And yes, getting close to Lexus prices

Couldn’t have said it better
I do a lot of highway driving so sound insulation is the most important thing to me, thus XLE would be my choice, I would really love to have the JPL sound system without the stupid panoramic sun roof
Sound insulation is underrated as a car feature but very important
I've heard the JBL sound system isn't too good.
XLE trim for me with all options including the 360 camera.
Can’t go wrong with all the options
I was leaning toward the XLE but the leather seats have cloth trimming, so the XSE might be a better option. ...except the Rav4 is nowhere NEAR as quiet, comfortable or 'easy' to drive - especially on longer highway trips.

That does seem like an odd omission
The SE
Agreed
Great video🎉
Thank you!
I choice se awd or fwd bc style front grill and the back look sportier than xse trim also best value trim and fun to drive(same as xse)
, under 40k, good mpg.
Great pick for sure!
Bought the xle. Its definitely an age thing. Im 61. I wish it was lifted by about 3 inches. It is a nice ride. Se would have been a great pic too.
XLE definitely seems a bit more refined, nothing wrong with that

That sounds frustrating, best of luck in your search!
How much does the SE trim cost at the dealer? I was quoted $34,000 for this trim. Where can I buy it at your price?
The prices listed in our videos are typically the base msrp for the trim. Once cars get to dealers they will have destination fees which are typically over $1,000 plus any other fees or involuntary dealer add-ons or accessories

Is it possible to install the panoramic camera that shows all the car after I already own the ‘25 XSE?
Unfortunately, no. It is a factory installed option that requires cameras in the side mirrors and front grille in addition to the backup camera
Thank you. I suspected that, but wanted to be sure.
Thanks.
Hope it helps!
I'm so glad I didn't pass up my reservoir blue SE with moonroof and convenience package! The panoramic roof is a hard pass for me, given all its potential issues. I actually prefer my smaller infotainment screen since anything larger just seems excessive to me.
Sounds like you got a sweet one!
SE with bigger touch screen and sunroof. Don't want the 19's. I'll save the $$$ and get the optional RED PAINT !!!
Everything you need plus style. Love it!
After watching this, I think my choice is the XLE in Underground.
Underground is such a cool color, nice pick!
You forgot the option of different 19 inch wheels on se and xse. 1500 option.
Appreciate it!
I dont know why but that camry, top trim level over $40k, it's insane to me.
Definitely a little harder to justify
Agreed, may as well save a little more and buy a Lexus at that point.
For this ride… SE.
Seems to be the sweet spot
What the heck? The XSE doesn’t have seat memory or rain sensing wipers even as an option.
I guess they think people who like sporty looks don’t want any luxury features 😂
Take the front cover plate off.

Hadn’t heard of the glass roof issues, good insight
Who said the moonroof is broken? Do you speak for all cars not driven by you?
It doesn't happen often but if it does its like 12 grand to replace
Dealers buy cars with the most options because they make more profit on those opposed to the base models.
