The shedding is normal, it happens when your hair is developing from the vellus hair phase to the terminal hair phase.
I have currently been using the liquid kirkland brand for a little less than a month and I'm noticing a slight change so I'm excited to see how things will look in the coming months.

@@DaHaranGamer I had noticeable results after about 4 months, I stayed on it for about 7 months and then stopped. I started shedding after I stopped, and my current facial hair is more substantial than it was before I started, but not as good as it was at the 4-5 month peak after starting minoxidil. You have to be on it for about a year to achieve really strong, permanent results, and I would recommend the foam version that is a bit more expensive as it absorbs better, if that's in the cards financially. I was starting to notice heart palpitations that became somewhat more frequent, but that has since stopped after I stopped using it.

The alcohol helps with absorption. Dry skin is manageable with beard oil. Use dropper to apply minoxidil directly to the face not on hand. Great results myself
You do rock your beard well brother. You dont overdo it and grow it too long. Im currently at week 12 and ive noticed very minimal changes but i am staying optimistic and will continue for at least 6 months like you recommend. When i started, you can tell my genetics gave me a beard that wanted to be full but couldn’t. Patchy in my cheeks and it doesnt go fully around my jaw. Will definitely hope to see new changes.
keep going man consistency is key, i'd say the 3-6 month mark was where I noticed the most. It's difficult to pickup on the small improvements when we're looking at ourselves in the mirror daily.

Keep doing it. I can say it works. I started 3 months ago and can start to grow a bit of a beard now. Still patchy, but clearly growing more hairs per week. I expect a nice beard in 4 to 5 months.

Kirkland foam has like 4 different types of alcohol in it lol. I switched to the foam and had the same issues I had with the liquid. I still use it just more like 3 times a week
I’m 18 i have very strong cheek hair and mustache but the only thing I’m not fully satisfied with is my chin hair it barley grew last year and I’ve been growing it for a month and it looks pretty weak if only it was strong I can rock a full beard, should I use mnoxdil or I’m too young?

I have no hairs on my cheek, only a johnny depp type chin/moustache. Being half, my hairs are thick but I have very few. I'm only 20, so is it worth starting or should I wait? I feel like even if I wait, I won't ever get the best facial hair cuz my dad's is patchy and was late to come through. My japanese side is hairer than him tho, so small hope there haha
Think it's worth giving at a go now you're 20, best way is to test it for 6+months and hopefully it brings your facial hair out!

i'm on accutane 10mg currently because of my acne. I might wanna try minoxidil to increase my beard growth. Does minoxidil give people acne? Is it okay to use minoxidil while still on accutane?
Thanks man! I was on accutane while I was younger too, hope it clears out. If it was me, I would be hesitant because accutane already makes your skin incredibly dry (which minoxidil could make worse). I get you're probably super eager to start but may be best to focus on one thing at a time.
I used Accutane at a higher dose than you for 4.5 months while on minoxidil (was a little over a year into my journey at that point). The dryness was intense. You have to be committed to carrying moisturizer around with you at all times because being without it can become unbearable. If you haven’t started minox yet, I’d wait until you’re done with accutane. Once you’ve completed accutane, minox will not cause you any new breakouts. Both drugs are magical for their intended purposes and produce real results, but be prepared to make a huge commitment when using them or you’re gonna have a bad time.

I've never used Minoxidil, but I started using it a couple days ago. I have a decent beard, mustaches as well. The only part I'm not satisfied with is the under-the-lip part. I have a sole patch, but below it there's almost no hair to connect with the chin area. I've completely shaved off my beard after years of rocking it to apply the product easier. Tell me is once per day application is ok for that small area? How did you go with that part of beard?

Thank you bro! Yes beard oil doesn't actually grow your beard, it is just used to keep it moisturised. Minoxidil will actually work to grow out your hair follicles.

@@arbulonrexhepi yeah it works for me I used minoxidil 2 times a day and every week I did dermarolling 4 months I used minoxidil liquid but I dried my skin out it was worser than the Sahara but this month I do foam and its much better beceause of the dry time

Isn't 6 months -or more- too much for use it twice everyday? I feel that is exhausted.
The best routine for you is what suits your schedule also. The minoxidil half life is 23 hours so twice per day is advised as optimal, however you could get away with once per day (as I did many times). 6 months is a general guide to ensure your new hairs have turned terminal. Stopping too early can cause you to lose some of the new hairs.

bro im using Kirkland Minoxidil 5% 2 tyms daily.....37 days completed....using dermaroller from 1st week 2 tyms a week...unable to see any result...also using multivitamin....how much time it may take to see slight result...??
3-6 months you'll notice most growth I'd say. Make sure to take progress pics, as it can be difficult to notice small changes when you're looking at your own progress in the mirror each day

Hey Burak from Turkey! 7 months you should have some permanent hairs and also some 'baby' hairs that you likely won't keep.
I would advise not to stop suddenly but taper off e.g. apply minoxidil every two days, then every 3 or 4 days, then once a week and come off slowly. This should give you the best chance to keep as much as possible.

Progress is always a great sign my man! There's no way of truly knowing as each individual is different (your cheek hairs may already be terminal). Stick with your minoxidil course long enough and you won't need to wonder which was my approach.

How many bottles in total you used minoxidil in 2 years?
Not sure because I switched brands from kirkland to Qgain, which is a 3 month supply in one bottle, whereas kirkland is 1 month in 1 bottle

Yea you can trim as you like. I always planned to go past one year to make sure the gains stuck and pretty much just kept going to see how well I could grow it

Why do you want beard in the first place?
Think you'll get a variety of answers depending on the person. For me, it improves my appearance. Secondly, as a full-time salesperson, it makes me look older. Most of my clients are 40+.

I'm not familiar with the product itself but as long as it has 5% minoxidil you should be good to go. Be sure to double check on any reviews though!

Talk Siick on the foam, no. On the liquid version my skin got dry as hell. If you get dry skin I’d recommend going straight for the foam version
