Styrofoam cup is best to use when you put your dermaroller in alcohol. Cup is soft so you don't risk needles breaking/bending.

I just use a isopropyl alcohol spray bottle on it and I also run it under hot water right after rolling then the alcohol

I use hand sanitizer
DO NOT pull that puppy side to side like you are at times 😂 you can end up creating streaks of micro-tears doing that. It's okay to be a bit aggressive when rolling forward and backward but make sure you pick up the dermaroller off your face before moving it somewhere else!

540’s usually have blades instead of needles. It is recommended by professionals to use a 192 needle roller.
0.5 mm is recommended for the beard and 0.25 is just recommended for general facial care

When I watched through the first time I misheard and thought you said you use a 2.5mm roller and was thinking GOOD HEAVENS DUDE!!😂😂 I saw you rolling it without even flinching and wondered how you could have such an insane pain tolerance, because I use a 1.5mm roller and boy does it hurt! I replayed the beginning of the video to then hear you say that it’s a 0.25mm roller and was sooo relieved😅😂 I honestly would recommend switching to at least a 1mm(preferably a 1.5mm) roller though if you are actually serious about Derma rolling or micro needling. It’s been shown to be the most effective needle length. In regards to the frequency of rolling, it is debated but the most widely accepted frequency is once a week. Also you are correct about how you shouldn’t apply minoxidil until 24hrs after you’ve Derma rolled or micro needled.
0.5mm is enough for beard, maybe after 3 4 months switch to 0.75mm, if we are talking for hair it's another story.
0.5 is recommended actually. Don't give fake information about beard regrowth, it's a common thing that people will use it and take it too far until they damage themselves.

Bro , that looks like a 540 Needle Dermaroller roller which doesnt have individual Needles but discs on the inside with needles on the discs. (considered the fake rollers)
Try using the 192 Needle roller (192 individual needles) as it penetrates more than the 540 needles.
You can even google bed of needles effect for for research on this.
How about the derminator 2? That seems like the most efficient microneedling device, with changeable depth and speed and it would be a much quicker process that manually rolling. It's a bit expensive but it might be worth it over a 12 month period, considering that you'll have to switch dermarollers every now and then.
Should I stop regulalry shaving while using a derma roller twice a week? I can't grow a beard anywhere I want too yet so I shave every day so I don't look weird. I just got a derma roller and I'm going to start to use it twice a week. Should I completely stop shaving, or just not shave on the days I use my derma roller? Love the video by the way!
keep shaving, but don't dermaroll until at least 4 hours after.
Just started minox 6 weeks ago and I barely have one strand gain... Derma roller looks painful a bit but I think I'd try it out

Hey i just started using minoxidil and my face burns a bit after i apply it and when i wash it off and put moisturizer on it burns a bit, did yours burn?!?! OR is it because i overdid the dermaroller?!

Hey guys, do not even think about doing it this much, you shouldn't even feel that you have dermarolled. Getting it to be as painful as he does is not something you want to do, trust me!
Good day, I am about to start my Derma Rolling and Minoxidil adventure and was wondering what you would recommend I use after my Derma Rolling (Face Cream wise). I understand that I can Derma roll 1-2 times a week and after rolling for about 4-6 hours no cream and no Minoxidil for 24 hours but what can I use in the week between rolling? That will help with Derma Rolling and Minoxidil.
Minoxidil I apply 2 times a day (Morning and evening) and no cream afterwards.
would you recommend anything else?

I got burns on the side is my mustache idk if it’s because I’m sensitive but it looks like scabs now catch me not going out for awhile

For me dermarolling actually hurts so bad when I'm doing my mustache that I start to feel sick.

I know when I pluck my stache (I have my reasons...) it makes me sneeze and may make me tear up.
If you have the funds, perhaps consider a shallower needle for the stache area- unfortunately I can't back this up with personal experience since I only barely got my dermaroller today, and I'm doing it to (hopefully) rid my face of sun pitting from 2019, not so much for facial hair, and the areas that have facial hair already seem to have mildly restored their "collagen glow" (as I call it, also there was less sun pitting in these areas to begin with) so it's mostly the not hairy or not-yet hairy parts of my face I want to dermaroll, as well as my arms and maybe other parts of my body at some point.
But yeah, try a shallower needle if possible, iirc there's dermaroller as shallow as 0.1mm out there if you have to go really small.
Ur going a bit rough on ur skin with the derma roller
Ur using the derma roller wrong pick it up from ur face after ever streak so go up once pick it up and go back to where u started then after doing 6 times in each spot go over the same spots horizontally picking the derma roller up and not just going back and forth on ur face

@@0Kyron0 😑 That's like saying you can't wash your face with water from the bathroom sink because it carries bacteria, which is ridiculous considering you either wash your face in the bathroom sink or shower everyday. There's nothing wrong with rinsing off the alcohol from the dermaroller. I've been using one for 7 months with great gains doing exactly the same thing he does. 👉🏾 You don't want the alcohol to cause your skin discomfort when dermarolling and you don't need the alcohol on your face anyway when you've already washed and cleansed your face.

Alcohol evapourates, you dont need to wash it off with water.

As long as you are using a roller that is .5mm or less with no more than 5% minox than u can apply right after rolling. It actually has better absorption this way. Don't believe the hype, there's no research to back up these claims 9 times out of ten
Nah you have to wait at least 24h before applying minox, you can apply minox 4h before hand tho

I did hear that you're not supposed to use the derma roller like a saw (sorry, not sure how else to put it) by going in both directions like that? like you're only supposed to pick one direction. you still want to draw the asterisk pattern, but not drag the roller back and forth for each direction. buuuut that's not what you were told? U shouldnt put oil after the derma rolling . It may block pores . U should let it stay for few hours and then apply minoxidil it will be more effective and there would be no extra side effects ( and if u get it means u also get them without derma rolling )

You can't put on minoxidil after you've dermarolled because your pores are open and if the minoxidil gets in your skin through your bloodstream you're going to have heart palpitations, headaches, and all kinds of crazy side effects.
