Sort of hard to get the message here i feel, wich I think more or less you have been pretty good with earlier. Alot of studies support microneedeling to combat hairloss, as you yourself has stated. You stop only using roller and now only pen? This dosnt ad up.
@@hejpadej8559 I only stopped with the derma roller. I use microneedling as a treatment and I believe in its synergy with topical products like minoxidil for combating hair loss but prefer to use better devices that don't cause unnecessary scarring.
If you're getting a lot of scaring, you're doing it wrong. You should maybe try the 1.5. Dont push down super hard if you're bleeding. You're pushing too hard. It is not painful if you do it right. Yes, it isn't a great feeling, and it might be painfull but it works if you do it right. I never bleed, and i dont have my bald spot anymore. Not a good video. You can get good results.
Hey man. If you could, I’d really appreciate a detailed protocol you did for your bald spot with micro needling… like the duration you did it, how frequently you did it and what kind of roller or other method you used. Thank you mate
Hey dude i'm super new to this. Do you spray the bald spot with minoxidil, and then dermaroll? Or dermaroll first and few hours after minox, or the other way around?

0.6-0.8mm pen or 1.5-1.8mm roller both effectively attack the hair bulge and stimulate growth. The scarring is a non-issue, preventable by not using too frequently (a problem you had, based on your old vids) and, assuming you have hair, won't be ugly while improving minoxidil results. The pain is a fair reason, but to say that "nobody" should be microneedling for their hair is absurd. People ought to decide for themselves what is worthwhile, given accurate information.
ive been microneedling the past two years with a 1mm dermaroller 5 days a week with light/moderate pressure and then application of a minoxidil serum afterwards , and on the 5th day I apply slightly more pressure and then give it two days rest.
its the only thing that's worked for me in 10 years.
I've heard people say 1mm rollers should only be used once every 2 weeks so I don't know, but I haven't seen any scarring yet.
how much pressure you apply is obviously going to be a factorin how often you can use them.
He has hair because he did a hair implant 😂
@@gustavocortes6484 this still requires maintenance with a drug like minoxidil or finasteride.

Recent studies show 0.6mm depth is the best for regrowth, debunking the 'hit the hair bulge theory'. This means, a pen of 0.6-0.8/a roller of 1mm is ideal.
The craters you describe are completely wrong.. That's how the craters would form if you'd roll it over sand.. Your skin is elastic and apart from the punctures itself, there will be no additional craters, therefore debunking your comparisation between the roller and pen...

@@brianbridges8124 Dude, how's the result. And do you apply certain oil after dermarolling,
In reality i saw a recent study from R.english, that shows the one best reason to do microneedling, the most important thing is the skin depth where the needle has to reach to cause positive effect. and it's 0.5 mm and no more. 1.0 mm / 1.5 mm skin depth, could be very delicate to do it with high risk scarring. 0.5 mm because the depth is before the derma papilla without damagin it. and it's faster the recovery. The study show an increasing amount of hair count, in 6 six weeks of usin microneedling 0.5 mm 1 x week. Without topicals, by itself.
yes, 0.5mm for enhancing minoxidil absorption is enough. For growth factor stimulation you will have to go a bit deeper. Of course you get unnecessary scarring with 1-1.5mm rollers. Rollers were a thing when they were the only microneedling device available on the market. Now we have pens and stamps that are much better to use. You can not measure any hair thickening in 6 weeks, not even talking about regrowth...If there were any improvements in 6 weeks then definitely not due to microneedling. 6-12 months are much better time horizonts that give a clear picture whether hair counts are improving or not.
Just checked the study. It was done over 3 months, not 6 weeks. They have not used any derma roller though, but a derma pen. They did 6 needling sessions overall (every 2 weeks). 0.5mm seemed to be the most effective but the study includes 68% females and 32% males. Females, although not affected by DHT hair miniaturization, tend to experience more frequent hair shedding fluctuations per year due to menstrual cycle as well as seasonal shedding. This can create bias in some groups. The good new is...This is the 2nd study where a sub 1mm needle length performed better than >1mm needle length. Nevertheless, the majority of microneedling research (10+ studies) still supports the 1.5mm needle length - either with or without Minoxidil.
@@letsgethairi just bought a 0.25mm cheap derma roller, should i press down hard enough so it’s effective or do you think i will need to get 0.5mm. Is this why people have to keep using minoxidil even after the hair begins to regrow, because the growth factor does not get activated?
The problem with derma roller is it may scar your scalp and you end up losing existing hair if you dont do it right !!
So how do you do it right then?

1.5 or below wont scar your crown if you roll at least twice a week. Also people use derma rollers wrong. You dont do it in areas where you have hair, its only purpose is to revive the hair follicles back after you start getting your hair back on area you derma rolled you stop. And than make sure you strengthen it with different natural dht blockers like palmetto pills, natural shampoos, water without chloride etc and it takes about two weeks to a month for you to see the results aka baby hair starting to grow. Also make sure you dont wash your hair after you used minoxidil 5% [it doesnt matter which minoxidil it is or how expensive it is best go to your local pharmacy and ask them to make 5% one for you and avoid buying online] for at least 3 hours before and after. And brush your hair daily and make sure not to use chemical products on your new baby hair thats abt it

You need 1 mm.
Get a 1.5, but do some research on some decent rollers. I do 1.5 once weekly and 3 fays later. I might do a 1.0. I do 7 passes each time. If you are bleeding, you are pushing too hard. You want it to get red but not bleed. I recommend doing it before you shower. If you use minoxidil 5mg 2 times daily, you are 90% more likely to grow hair slowly but surely. You want to do everything you can to keep scalp care a priority. I use a biotin shampoo and conditioner that has essential oils. I exfoliate the day before I micro-needle never the day of it will sting you want to minoxidil before you dermaroll so I would shower as late as possible to get the 2 15 min sessions down as that is how long you want to have the minoxidil in your hair for. I hope this helps try it and you will see results.
@@Xxstephenx1x thanks bro…I will give it a try..and diet also plays a really huge role in hair growth…and using the wrong shampoo and oil can totally damage your hair…I use cold pressed oils..(coconut + castor oil mix)..😅

Using a dermaroller on the scalp causes some hair strands to get cut during each session. As a result, when you look at your hair next time, it appears as if new baby hairs are growing

He is just blabbering about misinformation. Hair derma roller should be 0.5-1.5mm. And if you do it gently it will not behave like his animation shows. Skin has some elasticity, its not tofu.
@@shz4478 yeah, what size derma roller should I go with if I'm just starting? And should I change sizes? How?
After each pass, electronic or manual, you're supposed to lift the needling device, not drag it from place to place, as this could cause you issues and further damage? eg, with a Dermapen you keep it static in the one area for a few seconds, lift and then place on a different area. Never 'drag' any Dermaroller.
I use mine for skin rejuvenation / texture / scar issues. That was all they were marketed for, circa 2007 - years later I see them advertised everywhere as a hair growth miracle but I wonder if it's all snake oil (and just a new way to sell more micro-needling devices?). It may be useful at shorter lengths for topicals, but I'd imagine that's it. For hair treatment, Dermastamps are better as you won't tangle your hair.
First off you can get a small roller length 0.5 mm you don’t need 1.5 mm. Secondly roller is better for beard and hair line.
I stopped when the dermaroller was basically ripping hair out no matter what I did with longer hair

I've used 0.5mm derma roller for months and found them ineffective. I think the main purpose would be combined with minoxidil, but I don't want to start on that yet. I think you are correct that it does more surface damage to the skin in the form of scarring, and the gains are not worth it. It's only a matter of time before you pluck out good hairs, or get noticeable scarring, or perhaps infection if you don't clean the needles, or get bent needles.
I used derma roller 0.5mm with rosemary oil for a month and got really good results
I had long hair like 5cm and when my hair falls down i also got a smaller hair falling down that means there is a hair growing
The falling hair was also normal but then i used 1.5mm and my hair got bad so i switched to 0.5mm again cuz 1.5mm was maybe too much
It needs to be at least 1.25 mm to injure the area near to the follicle root and attract repair cells.
Off course I'm not sure, but if I look on the scale how long that actually is and then touch my head, I would get the idea, that it would/could start puntcturing the skull. I don't know, but maybe the mentioned depth shown in this video is hair on bodyparts and not on the scalp.

It's literally been proven to work tho .
Do it then. Go on. You think you know better than several top surgeons who all said the same thing. Have you asked yourself who did the studies, do they have conflicts of interest. You have got to start listening. Stop going the cheap route. Piggy back off all my hundreds of dollars consultations. It’s a dumb stupid ritual where people who wish they were drs could make a quick buck. I challenge you to do it for 6 months and then let’s see where you are at. Did you know there were studies showing mushrooms and broccoli work to. Wake up and stop trying to chase the easy fix. It is a dangerous, useless gimmick.
Personally, I like rollers better. The punchy snap jabs of the automated pens actually caused me quite a bit of trauma to my scalp. The rollers never do that. You just need to buy your rollers from a proven source, and not be afraid of spending a decent amount of money for a quality product. I usually go with Gin Amber's rollers. They're more expensive than Amazon's rollers, but I know they're actual medical grade needles. If you pay cheap, cheap is exactly what you'll get.

He aint gonna know. Ask your doc and they will likely claim shockloss. Depending where, and how dense second ht was, your blood supply may have been compromised short or long term. Praying for you.
But they cant know because its a guessing game. Youll have to wait and find out
Prob just shafts not actual grafts. Contact the doc asap
@Goodhello369 have you ever heard this before ? My second HT was only 1000 grafts.the truth is I had very hard time psychologically last 2 months with very poor nutrition.
@Goodhello369 do u think that these multi hair shafts can grow back ?
@@Ws-tc5jb really depends. Very likely will but everyone is different. Call your doc and get atleast their nurse on the phone. They know your chart. The best thing is not to stress right now. Stress leads to loss. Hopefully youve been taking finasteride and minoxidil. Or equivalents. Along with balanced diet. Otherwise dont expect to keep the hair either. Wishing you success!
What about laser treatment?
Hi matt, do you HT More than three session? ?
You dont get scarring.... Thats INCREDIBLY RARE.
Man your temples need to be brought forward for your own hairline to look natural. It’s distracting currently
Point is size matters😂
