Hi Chris I'm in my mid-50s and I've been doing a lot of skin care things over the years and people think I look younger although not as young as you do. The one is sure I'm having is the bags under the eyes sometimes I have them sometimes they don't and you'd mentioned derma rolling is good for that I had only done during a couple of times under the eyes and they blew up and I don't know if that was just a reaction but you had mentioned in the video that it was good for under the eye bags could you please expand upon that for me if you don't mind. Is there a certain methodology and how does the actual action work does it tighten the skin enough to not allow the expression of fluid to build? I'm sure you're busy but if you have a moment I would really appreciate that. Thank you Michael
@@WhatsCookingTime You might try an ice roller. Good for morning when you're a little puffy. Roll it from outer corner of eye to inner corner and up and down from under eye to jawline.
Hi Chris! I've been dermarolling about 6 years and my skin is very smooth and wrinkle free. I'm in my 60's and told by many people that I look much younger. I use a serum with EGF before and after dermarolling. I also started using tretinoin at night. Great video as always.
@@hotrod66ify don’t use a growth factor. If you have cancer cells it will bring them to the surface. My dermatologist verified this with me today. I wasted $45. on a medical grade Growth Factor.
I cut square pieces of aloe vera and freeze, they are amazing when I'm micro needling, I don't use numbing cream and I would rub it over my skin frozen just before microneedlilng (i use an electric one) and after I'm done, or in between. it's terrific.
Not all skin experts agree about short needle lengths being the only at home option. Dr. Abs says you can use 1mm once a week, which is what I have been doing. I haven't had any problems over the past several years of microneedling. My middle aged skin has some great glow and is very smooth considering my age. Yes, there will be a little more pain versus short needles, but I don't mind it. I will wait half an hour after needling then apply my Cosrx Snail Essence, because it is soothing. Injecting foreign substances under your skin at 1mm can possibly cause granulomas, so I do not put it in on before microneedling, only after.
It's been about six years since I tried a derma roller. Started with .5 and was shocked to notice visible results in my acne scars after just a few times. I actually noticed a difference after one use! Yes, one use. Hard to believe and certainly not a realistic expectation for others but that was my experience. I did not use any special serums. Cant recall exactly but was using the Ordinary Buffet at that time so probably put that on post roll. For many reasons I discontinued doing it after a few times. Think I'll get back on the roll.🙂

Hi Chris! I hope your having a great day! I’ve been really wanting to try dermarolling but with having sensitive skin, it makes me nervous! Thank you so much demo and information and have a wonderful week! 🥰🥰
I use Hibiclens anti-bacterial soap on my face and let it sit for about 10 minutes. That is after I have already washed and exfoliated. Then on top of that I put a 5% lidocaine cream on my face and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then I wash all of that off and put some serum on before I start using the needles. Because of the lidocaine I can barely feel the needles. Like you did, I always put serum on after I do the micro needling too. I will put a fresh pillowcase on my pillow on the nights that I have done it just to make sure I don’t get infection.
What kind of serum do you use ? I use hyaluronic acid but it dries up so fast that I get that tight feeling very quickly . I don’t think we are supposed to use regular moisturizer are we ? I mean right after micro needling .
Good advice to do this in the evening as your skin naturally repairs itself overnight. I bought my rollers for crepey skin on my arms but there is one suitable for your face. Following this, I am going to give it a go!

I used dermarolling for 15 months. I started with .25mm, progressed to .5mm, and eventually got to one full mm. My skin color improved, but other than that I had no real change in the quality of my skin-certainly no anti-aging improvements! The 1mm dermaroller did cause bleeding, and I thought that with that “injury”, at least some collagen would be produced.

Chris 🍑 I absolutely respect your opinion. I think we are so afraid of aging as a society that many will do things that are simply not safe or good for the skin. Unfortunately we see so many issues with derma rolling. We see scars , track marks and bacterial and fungal infections. I think the Biggest thing is to NOT do this at home. So many do not care for their skin properly and then do this. When we tested them we also found that the skin was Injured, yes and it swelled up and you thought the wrinkles or problems were gone when in fact once the swelling went away the issue was still there or worse. Also antioxidant skin care or small batched will penetrate the skin. Examples Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, , and bad things like chemicals in water. There are simply to many other natural things you can do for their skin that work beautifully. I always appreciate you allow my thoughts and I welcome you to come over and share yours on my channel. I tried a .25 (cosmetic level) dermaroller and it’s not painful at all. I haven’t tried the larger needles. But I have a question. It is said to avoid mechanical scrubs as they may cause tiny tears in the skin. I used for years and think I have definitely had a benefit but stopped due to the cautionary advice. But why is poking holes in your skin better? If poking holes signals damage and collagen generation, would’t the tiny tears from mechanical scrubs also generate collagen production? It seams contradictory and hope you can help with this question.
Hi Chris! Great video as usual. I purchased the BeautyBio microneedling device. I only used it for about 2wks before I decided to have an in office Microneedling with HA and another PRP Microneedling treatment one month apart. I’m planning on having one more in office PRP Microneedling treatment before I resume the BeautyBio Microneedling system. We’ll see what kind o results I get in about 3-4 months. Any thoughts? Edited to request a review on BeautyBio if you have time. Thank you Chris!
Love your channel..thanks for all the great advice.. my mother takes Eliquis is there any kind of creams or anything that will reduce the appearance of her brown spots on her legs and arms?
I have seen videos on derma-rolling for even crepy skin look it up! One girl had like triplets and wow!!! She used dermarolling on her tummy and it was tight within 3 months.
PLEASE make a video about safe and dramatic skin whitening Chris !!! People take Glutathione , MSM and Vitamin C tablets and IVs to whiten their skin Please share all your wisdom with us !!!
Really appreciate your work, Ive just turned 38, I know its abit late but ive started my face routine and your videos are very informative. Would derma rolling the jawbone help with beard growth? Thankyou again 😊
Would it be ok to use a calming sheet mask after dermarolling ? I have some " Pyunkang Yul " sheet masks that are soothing, calming and very hydrating.
Yeah! Loveee this video! Thank you very much 😁❤. Can I apply my regular moisturizer or roseship oil (Sometimes I use it before my moisturiser) after dermarolling??
I don't get why everyone is complaining about tretinoin being irritating. I use a 0.1% mix, even after micro needling and it's not that irritating. In fact I use it all around my eyes and I'm not iritated at all... I must have some thick skin on my face......
Hey Chris, thank you for this video, your content is always top notch!!! My question is can radio frequency beneficial before, or the days following the derma rolling, or micro needling? The same question about the MEDICUBE device? I really have come to value your advice, and would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this topic. Thanks, and Keep up the great tutorials.
This video was sooo informative! I bought a microneedle that looks just like yours about 6 months ago. Your video confirms that I've been using it properly. I always disinfect it with alcohol before and after. I do have a question about disinfecting it. Do you spin the roller to get the excess alcohol out of the device? I've been doing that, because there's always some residual alcohol inside the discs/drum and of course it makes it burn a little if the roller isn't dry-ish. Thank you so much for your videos! They really help us so much! Happy New Year!
I put my alcohol into a spray bottle and I spray my dermaroller both before and after using it. I also keep mine in a ziplock bag, and in the fridge with my other skincare products.
Hi Chris, As always I really enjoyed this content. I do have a question though. My skin does tend towards scarring. I don't know if this is enough of a "wound" to cause a problem. What do you think? Thanks for your assistance. All the best for the new year. 🤗
Hi Chris, nice Video. Quick Question. I often read that you should throw away the derma roller after the procedure. Is that correct or can you just sterilize it and use it again?

It’s not deep enough to produce the desired results. Like you said, one tears the other punctures. Two completely different things.
Because micro needling stimulates at a deeper layer where collagen is formed
Plated Intense is an exosomes product which I think would be the absolute best after treatment bar none. What do you think Chris?
Hey Chris you are so fine. And have helped my skin.
I love this channel!
Thank you for watching!
I LOVE your shirt!!
How many uses do you get out of that, approximately? I do not see that you can buy replacement rollers but must repurchase whole device.
What about castor oil?
Love your channel..thanks for all the great advice.. my mother takes Eliquis is there any kind of creams or anything that will reduce the appearance of her brown spots on her legs and arms?
What can be used on the abdomen to get rid of crepey skin?
I have seen videos on derma-rolling for even crepy skin look it up! One girl had like triplets and wow!!! She used dermarolling on her tummy and it was tight within 3 months.
Great video . Thank you 🌸!
PLEASE make a video about safe and dramatic skin whitening Chris !!!
People take Glutathione , MSM and Vitamin C tablets and IVs to whiten their skin
Please share all your wisdom with us !!!
Hey Chris thanks for the video , I’m starting to get dark blotches on my lower legs will microneedling help in getting rid of them?
Mr. Chris- Do you know what the best length needle and frequency to use this needle for optimal collagen.plumpness for lips?
Great video Chris!
Thank you!
Yeah! Loveee this video! Thank you very much 😁❤.
Can I apply my regular moisturizer or roseship oil (Sometimes I use it before my moisturiser) after dermarolling??
Hi, when could/should I shave my face after?
No product can "learn" your hair to grow, but products can remove the blocking while the hair still is trying to grow
please make a video and summarize what is your secret to having great skin. Thanks!
I don't get why everyone is complaining about tretinoin being irritating. I use a 0.1% mix, even after micro needling and it's not that irritating. In fact I use it all around my eyes and I'm not iritated at all... I must have some thick skin on my face......
Hi, have you ever tried castor oil after or before dermorolling, just wondering if the two work together?
Wow! I didn’t know you’re in your 50’s! You look amazing
Best way to clean it after use?
Rubbing alcohol soak and rinse
Hey Chris, thank you for this video, your content is always top notch!!!
My question is can radio frequency beneficial before, or the days following the derma rolling, or micro needling?
The same question about the MEDICUBE device?
I really have come to value your advice, and would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this topic.
Thanks, and Keep up the great tutorials.
Can you Dermatologic then do the serum ?
What about doing gua sha? Is that something we would do on a different day?
How often can we dermaroll?
Thank you Chris 😊
WOW, YOU LOOK AMAZIN FOR A 58 YRS OLD! IMPRESSIVE!! I BOUT TO START THIS IMMEDIATELY, IM 43 SO I GOT JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON ASAP!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I always use a dry roller. You're right that the rubbing alcohol would be very irritating
I put my alcohol into a spray bottle and I spray my dermaroller both before and after using it. I also keep mine in a ziplock bag, and in the fridge with my other skincare products.
@@wendyfay16 That's a great idea! I'm going to start doing that! Thank you so much! 😊
Hi Chris, As always I really enjoyed this content. I do have a question though. My skin does tend towards scarring. I don't know if this is enough of a "wound" to cause a problem. What do you think? Thanks for your assistance. All the best for the new year. 🤗
Dude! I swear I thought you were like 30!!!!!!! 😮😮
Hi Chris, nice Video. Quick Question. I often read that you should throw away the derma roller after the procedure. Is that correct or can you just sterilize it and use it again?
Chris you are treasure! Thanks for this and other advice.
This was relaxing af to watch😂
😎
Thanks ! Where did you get that tshirt?🤩
Hi Chris thank you for a great tutorial on using the derma roller. Would you advise using a niacinamide serum prior to rolling?
Where did you get your derma roller? Does it help with hair growth do you se a big difference I used to pluck my eyes brows
