Thank you Chris, willing to try anything for eye bags. Had something for eye lid puffiness. Seemed like the bag problem started briefly August of 21. Somebody thought allergy, like you. The baking soda remedy was highly highly effective I couldn't believe it I actually went as far as to tap it around the top of my eyelids not too close to your eyelashes and rinse with cold water with my face in the sink then dab outward to make sure no baking soda gets in my eyes but you should be able to flush pretty fluently to really enhance the effect of the baking soda minimizing all of the puffiness I could not believe it! @@marilynwashburn4480 Hi Marilyn. I wish I had kept better records. I think I was a slow healer. According to my calendar, I was getting out around family and friends at 3 weeks. I have shoulder length hair so I was able to wear it in a way that covered bumps that were still healing. I had some odd lumps and bumps that took a while to completely go away but were easy to disguise. These were things that I was aware of but other people did not notice. I’d say all of that was gone by 5-6 weeks. Now the healing that goes on under the surface of your skin goes on longer than that. Your muscles and nerves have been cut and it takes time for all that to heal. Not to scare you, but that CAN cause some temporary effects. For example, my smile was crooked for awhile. Not exactly sure when that straightened out but I know by 6 weeks it was fine. Every person heals differently. Some people heal very quickly. I was a little slower but I’m very happy that I did it. I don’t know if that helps you but, if possible, I’d suggest that you allow a couple of weeks for healing time just in case. I wish you luck. Really do your research to find the best doctor for you.
In my case, I’ve found out that I need a combination of the following: exercise (weights or cardio), 2 main meals a day (instead of snacking every 2-3 hours) + a small breakfast after a 12-13 hours fasting. I stop drinking water a few hours before I go to bed. A good cream which tones up the skin of the eye area is also extremely helpful. Doing specific exercises for the eye area to drain the fluids.
Well the baking soda water paste didn’t do anything for me, but I tried it. And when the water dried off it left irritating grains on my sensitive under eye skin. But I will surely try some of your other products. Thank you for the excellent video!
I have rosacea and my skin is extremely sensitive. I can't use anything with any kind of acid without having a major skin reaction. Most of the skincare products contain the things that cause me to have really bad rosacea flare ups. The only thing I have found so far that works as a daily skincare routine that reduces the redness and doesn't cause rosacea flare ups is a rather expensive line by Clinique. I also have the problem with eye bags which was what brought me to this video and I'm def going to try some of these and see which works best for me. so thank you for sharing these.
Hello. I had a sensitive skin problem w/ rosacea during my pregnancy. I tried a lot of things... I realized that staying hydrated, stress free, get good sleep n don't eat foods or drink dehydrating bev like alcohol etc. I also use a very light ant of vaseline on target areas before bed.
@@theresajones3308 yea same i sleep at 11pm, Stress less, use cucumbers on my eyes, and only drink water. Cleared up in 2 weeks. Not fully gone but I am confident enough to pull females😂
I’ve found out that my rosacea was due to a leaky gut and my poor diet. One 7-day-one-meal-a-day fast, and treatment with bone broth and vegetables and my rosacea is almost gone. I look like I am very mildly blushed when it “flares” up. Before my skin was very dry and it hurt in some areas.
I began using baking soda for my rosacea YEARS ago (I'm 64) after i had tried prescription meds. When I neglect using it (baking soda) for 7 or so days, the rosacea creeps back. I just keep a box in my shower, put a little shake in my hand, rub in on my face for 30 seconds and rinse. And, no, it does not dry out my skin (I have "normal" skin)
Chris so excited about finding out this new tip! Thanks so much for helping😊 I have a problem I haven’t heard complaints about. Under my eyes stay white as well as under my nose above and all around my mouth stay white even after face make-up, it shows up light. So frustrated. Now I will tell you I am 67 years old and look younger than my age.
I've had under eye bags since my 30's when working and going to nursing school w 2 small children and a disabled husband... Plastic surgeon told me it was heredity [as nothing worked, and I've tried almost every thing out there!] and the only thing to permanently get rid of them was surgery to the tune of 3500$ per eye and that was11 yrs ago. Still have the bags... hope your suggestion works! ty for the info
Just curious..is baking soda safe to use under the eyes? Won't it have any negative effects? I heard some people talking that it's pH is basic so it might disturb the skin barrier and cause irritation in the long run. I really want to get rid of my eye bags but also want to research properly about this and I want to hear it from you. Thank you.
Just found you and happy I did! Saw some of your other video's and did subscribe. I'm 82 so never to old to learn...right? 💖 Thank you so much and God bless!
I was expecting to hear you mention lymphatic massage. It's something I learned about recently as in my 57th year I've developed water retention in my legs and feet. In researching this, I discovered lymphatic massage, and massaging the face and neck help drain the lymph nodes, helping to reduce the puffiness in the face. However, I also know that skin care people don't want you putting too much pressure on the skin of the face, so the two treatments appear to be in conflict. Wondering what your thoughts are on this. Great channel by the way!
I'm a lymph drain facial junkie. Chris's method with the palm circles is the best I've seen for not pulling the skin too much on the face. Using a moisturizer is helpful if it is quality or use almond oil. I make lotion so I can't recommend any...you don't want fragrance alcohol or toxins on your face. You do want something that will actually strengthen your skin at your age. Aloe based not water or alcohol based.
A Big Thank you Chris I cannot wait to try out these methods, I will be back to update you. Thank you once again, I have been battling with puffy under eye bags for far too long now.

@@clytiecatrett6209 it can be mixed with a massage oil such as vitamin E, grapeseed, almond, olive oil or jojoba and gently scrub and add water to slough off dead skin cells and exfoliate
Thank you so much for this video! It's great to see that there are some products out there that can really help! Baking soda and water! Who would have thought! Thanks again!
The most convenient way to add witch hazel to your skin care routine is to use it as a toner: Wash and rinse your face with a gentle cleanser, then add a few drops of witch hazel to a cotton ball and apply it to your face, says Dr. Jaliman. (There’s no need to rinse it.) Finally, apply a face moisturizer afterward to lock in hydration.
Thanks for giving us some affordable suggestions! Anti-aging products are a gazillion dollar industry these days but we all can’t buy the expensive products out there!
I need something for discoloration. Age spots on the face. Please!!!! Thank you for all your helpful advice and cost worthy products. Appreciate it so much
Sheets made of Cotton or silk are also underrated!! Micro polyester breaks down into lungs.......very hard on acne: maybe help with the cure of breakouts..
How often can I use the products that you recommend? Every day? I started using the baking soda every day for the past two days. How about the Alpha Intensive Renewal Serum...is every day too often? And the Neutrogena Hydro Boost...every day? Thanks so much for your advice, Chris...I really appreciate it!
Hello there. I'm really excited about the video. I have very deep undereye bags. I've tried so many products. Don't like taking pictures because of my bags so I happy this video is different so I am going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
Drinking water helps so much. I've tried everything. But I put vitamin e oil at night and it really works. Exfoliation is good. Gin Amber has an all natural product that's amazing! She also has these under eye hyaluronic acid prickly eye patches. You can wear them overnight night or for a few hours and they work so good. They also sell them at riteaid but gin Amber products are all natural and I use them and they're truly amazing. I've used the gold eye patches and I stopped buying them along with many others, they didn't do much at all honestly. Another thing that's truly amazing is Indian healing clay, it's used better with apple cider vinegar with mother or without. I like the regular acv because it works so much better! You'll get a facial out of this. It's like a mud mask and I put it all over my face and neck and not my whole neck but you can, but I'd try it on the face first cause as it's drying, it pulsates and it feels like it's getting tighter and tighter and it is! I put it under my eyes and on top of my eyebrows and upper lids. As I put it on my upper lids I either use my finger or a small hard make-up brush and I brush the product from the upper lid upwards to the forehead. So it pulls the skin up and as it's drying its going to give you that lift. I do the same from nose outward towards cheeks and ears. Use your nose and wipe the mask outward and your chin, do half going to the right outward and the left side do the same, as if you were going in for a face-lift only with the mask. Let it dry and as it dries its going to crack and get really tight and your lips will get bigger of course and it may pull your lower lids down so don't put it to close if you're not comfortable with it doing that. I do it it cause wow! Then I take a cloth and wet it with warm water and wet the mask so it's easier to wipe off. Make sure you wet the eyes good so it comes off easily. When washing it off, your skin is going to look red because it get all the blood circulation going as it's doing its thing. Your skin will look so much tighter, firmer, lifted, and bags will not be there. After you've dried you face, use a serum and something like vitamin e oil but only a little bit so the skin isn't dry and let it seep in or use a vitamin c cream. You will not believe how many years you took off your face. You can use Indian healing clay for your whole body. Brush your teeth with it, use it for your hair, everything. I use an oil I made cause it's great for your skin, it has grapeseed oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, vitamin e oil, mix it together and use it after the mask but only enough to slightly coat the skin and neck where it's not oily, just like you'd use a cream. I put it on more at night and my skin looks amazing in the morning! They have these silicone face masks that you can put over anything you use on your skin to help it go into the skin like facemasks you buy in a package. They also have silicone eye mask, forehead, neck, etc.... they really work for under the eyes as well. You can purchase all these products on Amazon. You can purchase the silicone facial product that has everything in 1 for 8 dollars. Last but not least, a quick fix that works wonders!!! Beauty 360° rapid reduction serum from cvs is specifically for eye bags, you put it on the eye bag and fan it or just walk around without moving the skin and it will hide the eye bad all day and night completely!! It washes off and I'd put something on after to hydrate it. The oil works amazing cause it holds in the moisture and you'll be happy. You can put this Beaty 360° all over the face and you'll look 20 years younger!! It's 30$ but well worth it if very much needed and even though I do everything I do, I still use the beauty 360 cause it's is the best for when I want the bags gone! If you get it wet after drying, it can turn white. Make sure no tears. You will want to put it on your ring finger and rub it on the area and then dab the area under the eye. Let it dry then see what you think, sometimes it has a wrinkle or something so just easily use your ring finger dry and dab easily across the the dry serum so it helps to loosen it a little bit. You'll love your results! You may need to practice with it, but don't get discouraged cause it'll make it worse as you're trying to get it to go on the way you want. It's really easy to do. I promise. I'm 50 and I look younger then I am cause I take care of my skin from the inside out and I have tried everything lol. I apologize for the book lol. I'm just trying to explain the best way I know how to give you amazing results. I want you to feel good and I want to help cause I care. If there's anything you don't understand please let me know and I'll be happy to help. Take care beauties! Have a beautiful day and weekend. 🥰🌹

Thank you Chris, willing to try anything for eye bags. Had something for eye lid puffiness. Seemed like the bag problem started briefly August of 21. Somebody thought allergy, like you. Went away for a bit, then came back in November 21. Been together, since! Yes more sleep if good, incredible! Why do they come back, later in the day ??? Will try your baking soda trick and gold pads, too ! Thank you! 🌸🍎🌸
Thank you. Make up never did anything but illuminate my under eye puffs.
Thank you for being so honest and thorough, you are improving not just my skin but my LIFE,LOVE YOU.
You are so welcome!
I will absolutely do a before and after next time I try this thank you Chris!
I just discovered you and from the bottom of my heart, Thank you. Great wisdom.

There is one cream that will reduce eye bags that i just got and used today, is Plexaderm! Not a permanent fix, but does take them down really good. Little expensive, but does work. I did do this method, and it did reduce the bags, but not as much. Great video, and videos you produce. Very helpful.
Thanks for sharing!!
6/5/22: needed immediate fix and the baking soda & black tea bags were soooo helpful, cuz that's all I had at home. Thank you so much!!!
You are fast and to the point. I liked your short explanations. I am hooked
Baking soda is Very Drying. You May get lighter circles etc. But y get dry wrinkly skin instead
I just watched about 10 of your videos & learned so much. I’m in my 60s and had a face & neck lift plus a CO laser peel about 9weeks ago. So I was searching for how to take care of my face & neck from now on. I will be taking a lot of your advice right away! You are certainly your own best advertisement! Thank you for your great videos.
Donna...I want to have those types of surgeries! Can you share what your recovery time was like? 😬
@@donnalee2310 ...thank you for your response! I'm so glad your healing has gone well! ❤️
@Cleejack He is 58 😱?! He looks like he is in his 30s...
cant beleive I just found this video.the bicarb worked better than anything else I have ever tried!
In my case, I’ve found out that I need a combination of the following:
exercise (weights or cardio), 2 main meals a day (instead of snacking every 2-3 hours) + a small breakfast after a 12-13 hours fasting.
I also have the problem with eye bags which was what brought me to this video and I'm def going to try some of these and see which works best for me. so thank you for sharing these.
did it work
I had huge eye bags and after using the baking soda and water 5 years ago it's gone

One of the great details about getting out of puffy eyes to maintain baby face. It helps to a very good level.
Did it work??
Did it work for you? I’m super late but I’m wondering if you ever had results?
Just curious..is baking soda safe to use under the eyes? Won't it have any negative effects? I heard some people talking that it's pH is basic so it might disturb the skin barrier and cause irritation in the long run. I really want to get rid of my eye bags but also want to research properly about this and I want to hear it from you. Thank you.
Just found you and happy I did! Saw some of your other video's and did subscribe. I'm 82 so never to old to learn...right? 💖 Thank you so much and God bless!
Thank you for sharing I’ve had bags under my eyes since I was 15 I’m 51 now and have tried so many products. I cannot wait to try this remedy !
Thank you Chris, the baking soda will be more effective if you mix it with rose water, cucumber juice or potato juice.

Hi Chris, what’s your opinion on using castor oil ?
Thank you so much for this video! It's great to see that there are some products out there that can really help! Baking soda and water! Who would have thought! Thanks again!
Chris is good and has good solutions. He has no puffy under - eyes.
Skin tightening- Astringent - Witch hazel, been around for years. Bingo!!

Awesome video dude! So great to see a guy doing these skincare videos!
I try for sure!
