I am 60 now just started with problems on top of lips little wrinkles also so in chin area. Do u have a video to do about these? Thank you so much god bless 😍🙏
You are a genious!! Why did I not think of that! I scoop out the last bits in my tubes, melt in microwave just a few seconds and usually come up with nice shade depending what colors you mix together then the freezer and viola new lipstick
I have only my right eye that’s hooded☹️, so I finally found an eyelid tape to fit my lid…it’s called Geneve Aesthetics. It’s very thin tape, and the good thing about this tape, you can put eyeshadow over it without noticing the outline of the tape.
For a quick fix for a night out that perhaps you weren't planning on, like last minute, my go-to is a hyaluronic water gel (being Italian, my skin is STILL very oily at age 55!) then a rapid eye bag reducer like Plexaderm (there are less expensive versions that are just as good and even better still) then a good mattifying or light reflective primer, then airbrushed foundation and a bit of blush followed by a good mattifying setting spray. I avoid setting powders, even translucent ones, because they tend to look like clown white on me following application. Just a quick fix, yes, but quite effective in the moment. As a man, the look I create absolutely has to NOT look like I'm wearing makeup at all. It's a process, and at age 55, I need all the help I can get, so thank you, Chris, for the videos you post here.
This man is nearly 60 and freaking gorgeous... Thanks for giving me hope, everyone thinks I'm 25, just turned 39... We are both killing it and I've been lucky genetically but I'm not taking it for granted anymore. I'm taking your advice so I can look as good as you in 20 years and beyond. You'll look 38 and when 70
I was shocked too i told my husband look at this guy guess how old he is! He said uhh 43? I was like nope, he almost 60! He looks amazing! Hubby like i look younger too, I said idk bout that 😂 he got all bent over it. I been telling him to let me show him how to take care of his skin but he refuses because he believes men don’t do that!!! Well i show him this nice looking guy and he was shocked too 😂 I said see what it can do for you? Im 9 years older than him and look 10 years younger lol
I'm 98 years old in 3 days. I worked as a ditch digger in Arizona for all my life. Those years out in the glaring Arizona sun did a lot of damage to my facial skin. I do act like I'm 39 (love you Jack Benny), but all the babes think I'm 27. I look like a Greek god!
I’ve found The Ordinary caffeine eye serum will give me tighter eyelids for several hours. I put it on morning and night. It works fine with eye makeup.
Thank you Chris! My hooded eyes frustrate me because they make wearing eyemake up awkward. And I have been wanting to try Stri vectin, especially because they promise to be a cruelty free company.
I've tried many of these things, with varying success; however, nothing beats a good hyaluronic acid water gel, then a rapid eye bag reducer like Plexaderm, then a great mattifying (or shadow reflecting, take your pick) primer, followed by airbrushed foundation and a bit of blush and then a good setting spray, mattifying or regular version, for a quick fix on a planned night out. Your face will look like a porcelain doll if everything is done correctly. Long term, I'm all for surgery, none of that bothers me....needles, anesthesia, recovery, nothing. After 2 hip replacements, caused by a really bad car accident many years ago, I'm no stranger to the scalpel or needles, lol. I refer to cosmetic surgery as "fun surgery," lol.
@@stacyfrisco5891 I use argireline solution from The Ordinary. You won’t see results straight away but once you do it’s amazing. Plus you need to keep using it. I also use at night a eye cream from Ella Bache. Special eye cream. It’s thick and you don’t need much. But it’s the only one I have found that moisturises my mature, bag prone under eyes.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your videos! I especially LOVE this one! I have been experiencing good success with The Inkey List collagen booster and Truskin vitamin C serums tightening my eyelids. I can already see a difference and it’s been less than one month. I’d have to say it’s been about three weeks and there is considerably less puffiness and drooping. I’m going to try some of the products you mentioned to expedite the process. I’ll bet the tape with the collagen booster would help retrain my eyelids. 😍 This has been so embarrassing for me and prematurely aged my face. Blessings! 🌺🌸
2nd comment .. I layer hydration, peptides, moisturizer; use minor make up tricks (having mah toor v dry skin, for me less is more lol). I tried the tape, looked great, but got tired of feeling it so stopped. Tried Botox 10 plus years ago, definitely opened up the eyes, very nice result but amping up skincare & lifestyle improved skin enough for me to not go down that road again. Micro current gives me temporary lifting/plumping too.
I want to mention that sometimes it's not even the eyelid that's an issue. In my case, it was just my brow that started to sag. I trained my forehead muscles to lift my brow again and "wholaa" no more hooded eye. The whole time I thought it was my eyelid that was the issue. Sometimes a browlift is also all you need (surgically), which I don't need yet but I would definitely go that route first before cutting into delicate eye skin. Hope this helps others.
Very basic question. How do you apply the cucumber juice, do you wet some cotton in the cucumber juice and place it on your eye lid for a few minutes, like you would place a slice of cucumber on the eye lid?
When u wear oils on ur face like I do... HELLO ur face is oily. Iv used EGG whites on my face neck n declotte 2 tighten skin. OMGOODNESS. Yea yes yep it tightens the skin all day n evening!!!
My daughter has major hooded eyes, she hates them, I am trying to teach her to please please take care of her skin..I wish I'd started younger, I'm 39 and over the last year( actually vit d from the sun with sunscreen is vital for overall health) but I feel since we have been locked up, my skin has changed dramatically. Lacking vitamin d is a factor... please young ppl take care of your skin!
Sleeping on my back, especially with a wedge pillow helps me immensely. Whenever I would eat foods with a lot of salt, such as a dinner in a restaurant, my eyelids were a lot more droopy.
It depends on the tape product and you'll have to check their instructions. Generally, no oily product before use but cosmetics still work fine over the tape.
I just stumbled across your Channel about a week ago and I have to say oh my gosh I am so grateful and I'm sure a million other people have told you so I'm going to be a million and one you do not look like you are in your 50s at all truly I would guess you around 25-27 at the max... I bought one of the vitamin c creams ordinary vitamin c suspension 23% and bioBare Retinol .5% which I'm going to apply in the evening with Hydro Boost. What do you recommend for my eyes
The algorithm must be working in your favor as you've just shown up in my feed. :) Amazing content in your video. Chris I'm taking your words to ❤️💜 heart. You're so informative and I've told my boys about your videos. As you said the aging process starts in your 20's. How do I get my boys (33 & )36 more excited about their skin care?
What do you mean by hydration? Misting your skin? Applying products that use the word, hydration? Drinking lots of healthy liquids? Thanks for everything you do!
All of it...but mostly when I speak of hydration I mean deep moisture for the skin. Hyaluronic acid, glycerin, water, and lipids (are all types of hydration)
Very interesting and clear video . I'm wondering about products/tips for longterm result. Facetape I've heard could train your fascia to lift. I wonder if this tape is also going to do so or only work whilst in use. Also, i'm a big fan of Korean skincare. I've seen these tapes aroud since many year and a very lower price, but not wanting to try them out. Is this the same kind of eyetape or something else all together.
Ok I asked about the hooded eyelids when you were doing the under Eye bag video so I got to looking because I’m new to this channel and I found this video
Great video! I have a question about using Peptides (the StriVectin Peptight). Would the Peptide blend in The Ordinary - Buffet work as well? I saw your vid mentioning The Ordinary Buffet and bought that for other areas of my skin. Thank you! Great videos!
I've always noticed my mother's droopy upper eyelids as she aged (which DO make her look very tired) and it looks as if I've inherited that trait - yikes!! What about tea bags as a home remedy, Chris? As a child growing up in England, my friends and I would eat cucumber sandwiches served with a pot of tea. We would then use the leftover tea bags and cucumbers on our eyelids!
Hi Chris...so happy that I found your channel... love your content!!! Last one I watched recently for hooded eyes you recommended D.E.J. Eye cream and another product from Dr. Dennis Gross. All the products I recommend are good from an ingredient standpoint and should give you some improvement. StriVectin is a newer formulation that combines several ingredients good for the entire eye area like caffeine and plum extract.

😥😥😥😥😥😥😭😭😭😭😭this is MY PROBLEM! Not just a little skin, my HOOD Hangs on my lashes! It’s horrible!!!!! The new eye drop has side affect of possible blindness!! Urghhhh! Who wants that risk!!! Great video
They take practice. But yes eye makeup will work with them. You have to work with the crease and the tapes have to be applied ahead of eye makeup. The biggest challenge is getting used to them.
Hi! I just started using the StriVectin a couple days ago. I'm using Alpha Skin Care 14% Glycolic, Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension & INKEY Collagen Booster, followed by Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream on the rest of my face. Should I be using these products around my eyes, too before applying the StriVectin? (With the exception of the Hydro Boost - should I apply that over the StriVectin?) I've been applying the StriVectin over clean dry skin with nothing under it or moisturiser over it. Thanks!
Most skincare products are good up to the lower lids and to the sides (temple) areas...but not on the upper eyelid. Applying the Strivectin first will help keep other products from migrating to them, lessens the risk of irritation.

I clean out old lipstick tubes and fill them with water and freeze they're small enough to get in the eye area and less messy than a plain ice cube

I found that Retin A on the face and around the eye area automatically meant my eyes would open up more. It came as a beautiful shock, unintended.
How long did it take?

It "trains" them? I missed that!! I didn't know that skins could be trained, I guess!
Yes, I heard him say it would train the lids to not droop. I was also surprised to hear it. Will do some additional research.
