I have a beard but it's a bit patchy. I tried dermarolling for a solid 7 or 8 months+ and didn't notice any changes at all. I got my kit from CPH Grooming a few years back. It came with an "activator" balm that I used also. I'm not saying it doesn't work for some people but I saw zero progress.

This will definitely work better than biotin. Biotin is an excellent supplement, however it really only increases the growth rate of hair - it cannot help dormant hairs sprout like a derma roller can.

Hey bro! Well, you know the statistic that 2/3 of men will bald or begin balding by the time they're 30 - there is definitely truth in that! The derma roller can definitely help, however that works on dormant hair follicles that never sprouted. If the hair is already receding and falling out, it's unlikely that would do as much. Minoxidil I really don't have any experience with, but I know it's fairly effective when it comes to regrowing hair - however I believe it only retains the hair as long as you keep using the product!
