This is the best skincare video idea ever! Thank you for your dedication and hard work helping people. This is exactly what I've been wanting. It's a shame that some people don't practice manners and decorum on the internet. In a face to face conversations they would never say all of the rude things they come up with behind the keyboard. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Thanks again!
@Bb-pw1zi That can only do so much. Give credit where credit is DUE! Not many 56 year olds look like this. He's also shown himself without any lighting. He looks young!
I am 53 years old and i look like i am in my late 30s, early 40s. Part of the reason is i never partied like most people did when i was younger. Also i try to stay positive and i do not fossilize myself, because age is just a number. I think attitude plays a very large part.
“Sugar ages you.Although there are lots of factors that ruin our skin, sugar is probably one of the worst offenders for outright aging our face and body.”
That depends on your genes. I have done a skin DNA before. I belong to the top 5% of the population in which glycation doesn't affect me too much. For myself I need sun protection or anti oxidants. Everybody is different.
You really look around 35 in my opinion. You can tell that you are a good person and I think that always makes a person look attractive and more youthful. Kindness never ages or goes out of fashion
As a teen I always had EXTREMELY oily skin which I hated because I had pizza face 😔 but at 50 I now ♥️ my only skin because it has preserved my youthful glow and appearance. It also helps that I’m a kind hearted happy person and I truly believe that happy people age better 🥰😃
I am 56 years young I don’t look my age either my secret is no smoking 🚭,drinking, or drugs. I have a healthy relationship with my family. I feel loved 🥰 and truly blessed 😇. I also exercise and go for walks I watch my diet.
It's not impossible to look young at 57! Do what Chris is doing! PERIOD! With a great healthy diet, and every step he shared, you absolutely CAN achieve the results, you MUST STAY CONSISTENT! You look amazing Chris, thanks for the steps. Easy peasy!
@@TheOCMarc 🤣😅Bruh, when I first read this I thought you were talking about an energizing regiment to start you off and then I was like maybe I need to do that. 🤦♂️🤦♀️But then I quickly realized you were joking around and talking about the sit up we all do as we wake up.
Im 40, but people think that I'm 25😅, no special skin care routine,, just good sleep , positive mindset and always being happy and gratitude are the reasons behind my youthful skin
I believe your age, I just turned 49 and people always think I'm in my late 20's or early 30's. I think genetics helped alot, my mom is 80 and looks like she's 60, but I also spend 95% of my time indoors so avoiding the sun since I was out of college has helped too.
I love the fact that you get right at it and give us what we want. Some people's channels have us watching their cats or kids and all the crap we don't need. Your videos are game changers. Truly appreciate you.
There's a new product I just heard about recently that says it helps with that. It's kinda crazy expense (to me anyway), it's called Emepelle. They say it's made for 'estrogen defecient' skin. I still need to look into it more, but there are some videos floating around about it if you want to look at it
It's oestrogen. I think HRT might help, but I'm taking the natural route and have followed the recommendations from a book called Bio-Young by Roxi Dillon. Been taking Royal Jelly, amla, fenugreek etc - all helping to keep oestrogen levels up. I'm 50, my menopausal symptoms have gone, irregular periods are regular again and my skin looks great and no-one believes my age. Highly recommended if you're interested
Amen to that. It really makes a difference. I looked older 10 years ago, because I was carrying pain with me. When I learned to fully forgive and let go, I really started looking different. It has major impact on our mind and body.
Do intermittent fasting. I did a 16 hr fast for 1 year on and off and didn't really see results. But when I upgrade to a 18 hr fast, I see exponential results. Better skin, less clogs, tighter skin, better digestion, feel more alert etc. Read the Glow 15 book.
Same here! I fast usually 23 hours a day, eating only an extremely low carb, high protein, high fat meal each day (except when I'm PMSing and I cut myself a little slack lol). It's amazing!
I’ve lost 75 pounds in a year doing intermittent fasting. I’m also do a 18 hour fast. It’s helped my skin and I feel so much better. It really has changed my life.
Thank you for sharing! I can confirm that and during the 18-20 hours of fast I'm not hungry or craving at all. I won't eat more then 50grams of carbohydrates neither and I feel the difference.
My parents are about a year or two older than he is. They don’t look as young, but 57 doesn’t always look as mature as people think it does. Everyone is different, so it makes sense that we mature differently as well! :)
I used to be so scared of old age, now I have hope and am not scared anymore after this video. I love to listen to you. I am a new sub. Am definitely gonna be young looking like you when I grow old.
hi ch ,ris , i stopped drinking alcohol daily 6 weeks ago ,now drink decaf tea and drink 2 litres of water a day , do not use soap on my face , take daily suppliments vit c ,d and make sure i get at least 6 hours sleep and now feel revitalised , so refreshing to hear someone giving advice without trying to sell there own products ,thank you , alan from scotland
Thank you for simple instructions. I am 59 and looking/feeling much younger. My secret is lot of hiking, fresh fruit and vegetables, drinking only water and lemonade every day and trying to have "beauty sleep" anytime I can.
Chris, you're never going to please everyone. You're always going to have the nasty, negative haters, who have to try and degrade what you're doing. Just keep on doing what you're doing, because you do it well.
Keeping his hair nicely colored along with eyebrows and beard goes a long way ! Having a beard to slim and make jawline look toned also helps. I'm 53 and also look very young for my age and have never used Botox or anything. However, I do color grays and keep my eyebrows colored and tweezed to a nice shape. These little things go a long way to having a youthful face. I just wish I could use the beard trick too 🥳
Maybe but he obv takes care of himself. I’ve met many kind people incl non many non religious and they also look their age or older. Stress is diff. Also if can tell a wo/man’s hair is coloured does it have the desired effect? For me as my husb tried colouring his hair when it first turned grey and I didn’t like it. He’s been natural now for many yrs and still guessed at min ten yrs younger. I’m not a fan in gen of mens hair colour but to each their own.
Week 1. Get enough sleep + start physical activity (slowly) Week 2. Add Cleansing process. Select the right product for your skin. Also add sunscreen. Week 3. Cellular turnover speed up. How? Exfoliating. Week 4. Add antiox. Vit C serum.
Getting products that agree with your skin is harder than you think! I have piles of sh1t that gave me rash while everyone else swears by it 😠if you exfoliate thin dry skin on aging person you damage it further
You are so right about all of this, Chris. I have upped my skin care since the 1st of the year with everything you recommend. My only exercise was walking my dog. But just started to go to the gym a month ago 3 days a week and will turn 63 next month. Started slow, increasing weight and reps on resistance equipment and speed walk on treadmill for 25 minutes plus a 5 min cool down. Sweat to the point of soaking wet hair. Always feel energized after. No weight loss but my skin looks even better than before. And I am definitely stronger. Can lift the large bag of dog food in one swift move where I used to struggle in the past. So happy!
No weight loss. It's probably because you've burnt fat & been gaining some muscle - which is good. Try to check your arms (especially the biceps) & thights. Are they leaner and harder?
Hoping you can afford an Omron body composition scale as it will tell you what is going on. I helped my mom go from a 2-3x to a 16 with some muscle just by healthy eating. That scale helps her make choices and for the first time ever she has kept weight off and has muscles. Good on you.
I’m 56, and told all the time I look my my children sister, I’ve always took good care of my skin, I’ve never used sunscreen but I do now, I’m also a type 1 diabetic, and been through cancer and treatment, I should look older than I do, I think it’s because I’ve taken care of my skin and I workout almost daily. I love your videos, they keep me motivated.
When i was 27 alot of people thought i was 20 or 21. Now that im 28, lost weight and have my hair shorter people think i look about 26 27. Taking creatine having extra plump in your face really is a game changer. And the hairstyle you have
Chris is right, skincare +diet+ exercise + sleep all are the key. I am 35, healthy habits and I look way younger than my friends. I usually get asked out by 20-28 yr olds, not that it makes me happy but its a fact.
You look great Chris! I’m 59 and I often have people think I’m in my late 30’s to early 40’s, so I can relate to your doubters. I don’t have a structured skin care regimen but I do intermittently fast (usually eat only once every 23 hours) and I don’t sun bathe. Thus far, I have developed no facial wrinkles. So not eating too much. Never smoking, consuming alcohol in moderation and staying out of the sun works for me. Of course, having more melanin is a plus too.
That sounds great, Michael however I will say that the foremost expert in the world on the subject of food, Dr Michael Greger, has said that there is no evidence that fasting has any health benefits whatsoever. He says we must eat a large breakfast and then eat smaller meals throughout the day. I trust him completely on the subject of food.
I absolutely believe you can change your skin!! I’m always amazed when a client comes back after two weeks and the changes are amazing!! We get better as we age! However we need to take care of ourselves, and have good habits and use great skin care. Thank You Chris! Almost 56 and fabulous😉🧡🙌🏻🍑Lisa
Dr. Ken Berry said your skin completely changes in 3 months time, and what you eat has a big impact. Important to eat quality food and build your skin from that.
Awesome video. I recently discovered that red light therapy very rapidly removes signs of aging from my face. It very quickly reduces wrinkles and puffiness. My crows feet have disappeared and my male pattern balding appears to be reversing.
Chris, you are proof that protecting your skin from the sun really prevents premature aging. You truly look amazing! Thank you for sharing all of your skincare tips😊
I’m 52 & have photo sensitivity. I haven’t been in the sun literally since I was 20 yrs old. Yeah it helps, but nobody would look like this guy at 57 w/o a facelift or at least some form of medical intervention like Botox or fillers. I’m not saying I look bad by any means, but this guy is full of crap, trust me.
I’m 3O yo male, I just started wearing sunscreen for 2 weeks straight. Every morning regardless of planning on stepping outside my house or not. I have to say I’ve seen a pretty amazing improvement in my skin. The redness from previous and healing acne scars are fading much quicker. The fine lines on my forehead and neck are also becoming less visible. I haven’t changed my diet and done anything else to my skin to make me think that something else is at play. Thank you so much for sharing. 👍
Hey, thank you for posting this. I am 64 going on 65 this year and people say I look like I'm in my 50s. I completely agree with you that working with weights to help keep your skin firm is true! Weight and bodybuilding is as close to the fountain as youth as your going to get. Also dieting is about 60 - 70% of the battle. Also cardio is great! I try to walk 3 to 4 files a day. I like running and walking. If you see marathon runners, I think there the leanest people on Earth. Thank you for keeping it real! And hank you for posting this. Peace out.
Thank you. Just found that my quick aging was so much more than lack of skincare and age. You had already inspired me to begin working on it, but it is more important now. Thank you. I am so glad I found your site.
The people who probably don’t believe your age, which I am the exact same age, are people who don’t wear sunscreen at all, probably drink a lot of alcohol, probably don’t use vitamin C ,probably don’t use a moisturizer ,probably sit out in the sun all day etc. etc. jealous
My mom is 53 and used to sun bathe her whole life, she looks like she is in her mid 40s. I however take amazing care of my skin and wear tons of sunscreen. I think I have a baby face and that's why stangers think I'm 18 even tho I'm in my 20s. Some people just have good genetics and I have to say Chris is one of them. That combined with all you listed has put him over the top! He looks like he could be your son (with no disrespect) please don't take offense to that. I don't think these ppl are jealous, he literally looks 20 years younger than his age!
No offense taken no worries. My daughter is 33 and she also looks 18 she’s ghost white skin and does not care whatsoever about getting a tan and that’s how I raised her she’s worn sunscreen probably since she was out of the whomp and wears it 365 days a year like I do even if there’s snow outside she seriously looks like she’s 18 years old or younger and when people say she needs sun she just laughs at them and tell them about the skin cancer statistics she’s white as a ghost and carries that flag proudly
@@kerrib1474 you sound like an amazing mom!! I just started wearing sunscreen a couple years ago. I'm gonna do the same for my future kids and hopefully they grow up like your daughter did!
Hey Chris! My day starts at 4:30 am. I have an intellectual job (not physical). By 9 pm I'm really tired. If I go to bed at 9 pm I wake up naturally (without an alarm) at 4 am and I feel really good. Whenever I change my sleep window I feel bad all day. I'm 52, but I look a lot younger like most of my relatives on my mother's side (it's in our genes). I'm self-employed and I work from home since 2008. I'm sure this also contributed to my well-being 😄😄 Thanks, Sub & Like from Italy
My rheumatologist suggested French maritime pine park extract for a couple of autoimmune disorders I have. It reduced the red patches on my face and actually reduced fine lines on my face after three months of taking it. I can tolerate retinol now but still have issues with topical vitamin C. It irritates my face and makes it more red so I started using Avene products. They have an antioxidant serum that works well for me and their products don’t make my skin erupt. I also have daily wild blueberry smoothies mixed with coconut milk and a cup of green tea with honey everyday.
Thank you for the tip on French maritime pine bark! A small 2012 study on postmenopausal women found that pine bark extract improved hydration and elasticity of skin. May I ask how much you take?
@@vivimedina5925 FMPB is another word for Pycnogenol. You can easily pick up this supplement at any drugstore. Start off slow and be extra cautious if you have any gastric issues like IBS or any stomach issue as it can cause gastric upset. Also folks on blood thinners or diabetics should not take. But before you start taking, you should get your doctor's advice.
I am starting a journey of finding the “new” old me with new healthy eating habits and will be definitely using your suggestions in this video for my journey, Not only do I want to feel better but want to look better as well. THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us! BTW … I believe you about your age but with that said, I would not have guessed you over 30. If we stood side-by-side, I would look like your mother OR your grandmother … and we’re only four years apart in age. Keep up the good work!
Yes! Night time is repair time. I travel for work and tell my coworkers to do their skincare at night. Also, Establish a routine, including exercise! We have to sweat to process our body’s chemicals and make use of our diet. Once you get used to it, your body responds and you will look and feel it!
Chris, I started using glycolic acid creams and peels in my late 40s and it held back the hands of time like nothing else! I'll be 66 in a few weeks and don't have any lines on my face!

I have been following your advice the past month and I notice a nice difference in my skin. I just turned 50 this year. I have been following a quality skin care routine since I was in my early 20's. People think I look like I'm 30. So I believe you that you are in your mid 50's and you look amazing. Keep up the great work and advice. 🥰
@@funkymonk5344 what the heck are you posting about? I didn't say I thought I looked like I was in my 20's. I said I have been using skin care regimends since I was in my 20's. Just go away if you don't have anything productive to say.
Im 62 and people tell me I look younger, but you at 57 is amazing. You look younger than that anti-againg expert who is mid 40s. You absolutely look 20 years younger, I have never seen any man look that much younger. Yu have a genetic advantage, no doubt.
Sleep is the number one thing , I’m 58 and have been guessed as low as 38 to 42 years old , diet and exercise, of course don’t smoke or drink alcohol , I do drink a small amount of bourbon but must be in moderation, eat less or fast also helps
I have starting ingesting a lot of the vitamins and proteins I use on my skin...vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B complex, CoQ10, Reveritol, and collegan. I also eat a ton of leafy green vegetables and make sure I get healthy fats in my diet. And I have started making myself drink a lot of water. This is the hardest thing for me. But it really helps. And my body is feeling and working/moving better during the day, and I sleep better at night.
Great advice. Also, cutting back alcohol. I love to drink but now I have only one drink once per week (shot of rye on ice is my favorite). I sleep better and sleep as you said is critical. Also, sugar, starchy foods, refined carbohydrates and refined oils wreak havoc on your skin. My 30 years of rosacea went away once I eliminated those types of foods. Eat carbs that are high in fiber 20-30 grams per meal. Too many carbs lead to insulin spikes which leads to inflammation, which is very aging. Eat plenty of protein and fats from whole food sources. Fast for 12 to 18 hours a day, and 3.5 to 4 hours between meals. Strength training and cardio are essential, but too much is as bad as too little. Your body will let you know if you've overdone it.
Just found your channel and I'm loving it! I'm 54 and look old enough to be your mom. You look to be around 30! Too much stress and too much sugar have done me in. I'm gonna give your advice a chance and hope for an approvement!
I'm 35yo and I've been doing all that stuff since my 20s. People think I'm underage and I have to show my ID when I need to buy wine. He seems to be using a little makeup on the video and he also dyes his beard, but he is definitely making a great job. He is real.
I'm 40 Years Old and I have a Body of a 25 Year with full of energy and people in the streets say to me wow you look young is because I exercise and play Basketball, Volleyball and Tennis I don't drink or smoke I am always with full of energy at 40
There are so many little choices that we make over the years that add up to big results later. Using sunscreen / staying out of the sun is a great example. I am 53 and have been exfoliating for 35 years and I credit this with how smooth my skin looks. In addition I eat a no sugar / low carb diet heavy in protein and collagen, which gives you a healthy, glowing look. Using products is also very helpful and does make a real difference, but you have to have the health from within first.
Holy cow!!! You have amazing genetics! 57 is hard to believe. I turn 66 tomorrow, and I looked pretty good up to about a couple years ago...starting to see aging in the neck area and jowls. How do you manage to not have facial muscle drooping ?
There are face exercises out there and massaging your face as well. There are asian treatments where the muscles get massaged with a stone or eye roller that's popular now. It's called gua sha. The exercises are different but you can google and find more info about the both of them. Spoon facial massage google as well as Ashley Black has tools you can use to massage your face to cause blood flow which stimulates cells and causes it to firm up. Hope these help!
It is also extremely important to keep hydrated and drink lots of water...your skin needs the water to retain moisture on the inside and reduce wrinkles and fine lines and sagging... caused by...dehydration...😊
I believe that genetics play the most important role. We see around ppl of the same age to doing nothing special { some maybe having very good habits} , and they still look great, while others to tske good care of themselves, and in some cases, to looking worse than those with bad habits. Genetics apart, sleeping enough, trying to not getting weight, a soft workout (never overdoing) , and a efficient moisturizer, could help to being in good condition. It's not bad to be ageing, it's natural. But you can being ageing looking great!
This is a great video. I noticed all the beautiful plants & flowers around you. That brings in a beautiful high vibration energy in your home 🌻Thank you Chris you do look absolutely amazing 👍
Chris what is the best thing for them broken capillaries on our face? I’ve had skin cancer & just below the scar I’ve & still do keep breaking out in them & tried everything imaginable I’m now using a vitamin k serum/oil will this help? I’m truly stuck what to do. Thank you for any advice or help😊

@@tacobelle69he doesnt look 28! You need specs. His face structure and non prominent cheekbones show hes at least 50. The delusion is ridiculous. As bad as people saying Paul Rudd looks in his 30s 😆

I'm 46 and look 46. Whatever that looks like, I have young features, but my skin is dreadful, big pores, fine wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. My older friends have better skin. I'm trying everything to look younger and better. Thank you for the tips, I'm trying them all. People still say I'm beautiful and I exercise, and I'm slim. I just wish my skin was lovely 😢
I’ve been using the Ordinary Vitamin C suspension 23% because of you. It took a while to get use to the amount I need for my big face, but I think I have it down now. Thank you again! I’m 52 and I use lots of sunscreen when I go out for my morning walks. Everywhere! I see people my age and older who still go to the beach. There’s nothing wrong with that , but my goal is to not to escalate the aging process. It blows my mind people go for tanning at our age! Gross! I don’t understand it! I’ll bathe in SPF before I touch a beach and you’ll find me under an umbrella . 🤣 They didn’t get the memo?! Thank you again Chris! Love all your videos .
Some people find laying in the sun very relaxing. I cannot think of anything that feels better am 60 and will be out there at 70 laying, relaxing, and getting in cool water when hot. Awww MY KIND OF DAY!! I WOULD BE VERY DEPRESSED IF DID NOT HAVE THIS CHOICE 3-4 MONTHS OUT OF YEAR. Can always use all the sunscreen u want. EACH TO THEIR OWN!!!
Bet you have low vitamin d levels. Why people believe sun is bad lol because y'all don't condition it to light. SPF anything on the market besides zinc causes cancer on the skin
Whahsha whoooooHooooo 57 I love it!!! I am surrounded by people that arw 40/ 50 and look like they are in their twenties (without botox or fillers... their whole familie looks like that). Thanks for your amazing video!!!❤❤❤
You're outstanding. I love this video. No B.S, no product pushing, no harmful advice. You just told us to eat healthy plant based foods, do meaningful exercise and use the right cleansing products in the right way. I love it. Plus you look fantastic.
@@Negao..219 I dunno, but you look OK. You look Brazilian or something. Plus you look happy. The clothing makes you look young but your strong manly features suggest a more adult individual. I dunno, anywhere between 13 and 45?
I absolutely love your videos! One of my beauty secrets is working out my facial muscles with a Myolift device and doing some face joga as no cream will prevent you from sagging face muscles.
I’m 50 with very good skin quality partly from genetics but mostly from lifestyle changes. I do just about everything you mentioned but I’m not as good at it as you. Thanks for confirming this routine and inspiring me to do better. ❤
So glad I just discovered your channel. I have been working on my skin aggressively since COVID. I need to work on my exercise plan (work from home on my computer for 11 years). I am naturally small with a high metabolism. I am 53, and everyone thinks I am in my late 30's or early 40's. You look great; I wish more men our age took care of themself.
That is amazing. I never noticed the driving thing before as I look at myself daily, so my entire fave just seems _normal_ at first glance. Looking at your face, after you mentioned the driving issue, I did see a marked difference. The left side of your face looks about 25, while the right appears to be in it's late teens. As for the _"57-years-old"_ thing... Idk, I suppose I will take your word for it since very few people say they are way, way older than they are, at least as adults. You do look like you are in your early 20's too mid 30's at the oldest. And that would be a mid 30's who had great genes and took exceptional care of themselves. SPF 90+ from birth, great skin care and again, near superhuman genes. Also, I can't see one gray in your hair. That could be my eyes, it could be RUclips compression, or it could be a perfect coloring job on the daily, but whatever the combination of factors are, I can certainly understand why many people would find it exceptionally difficult to fathom. I always thought I looked _decent_ for my age, and though I am 9 years your junior at 48, I look a decade+ older than you my friend. Maybe I will take some of your advice and start using a skin care product besides Ocean Fresh Dove Soap (or something like that, I forget the name. It smells alright though and doesn't leave my skin dry or oily like Zest or Ivory). I do drink a lot of Green Tea though, only eat once a day, and take a few vitamins? Lol that helps, right? Little Vitamin D, a multi, some "Beet Extract" thing. Lastly, you convinced me to give sun screen a try too. I've never really used it. Maybe 5 or 6 times in my entire life, but at almost 50, I should probably start. Going with SPF4 (70% block) to start. Hopefully I can convince myself that taking a month to get a little tan with SPF 100 isn't the end of the world whereas SC would be a huge negative on more than one person's life. I have no idea why I didn't start taking my health serious sooner, it most assuredly would have helped. I'm not sick or anything, I just got fat over the lock-downs, had a heck of a time getting back into shape as I had a bunch of minor back injuries I was unaware of until I tried to start being active again after sitting on my rump for 2 years and packing on 90lbs of chub. Next thing you know I'm getting all kinds of physicals, blood work, MRI's on my back and neck followed by a _"We could try physical therapy but with the damage to you l2-l7 and..."_ I forget the other 4, but they were at the top of my neck _"we should probably start looking at surgical options..."_ I decided I'd try to lose weight which the neurologist said would be a _"Herculean"_ task because of the discs, arthritis in my back/shoulders/right hip and knees along with some sciatic nerve damage, but my back did not hurt before I gained weight. My neck? Eh, on occasion. Anyway, 50lbs down and my back barely bothers me already now that the muscles are supporting them again. I did notice some unwanted stretch marks, and though my face did not plump up very much, I'd like the skin to stay as healthy as possible as well, so here I am, blabbing out my last 3 years of life health story. So sleep (Got that covered with 5-7 hours/night + a 1-2 hour nap) Exercise (Got that handled as well with at minimum 60 minutes of extra movements per day) Exfoliate? Not sure I've ever done that before, but we gotta start somewhere Sunscreen? Begrudging _"OK."_ The vitamin C stuff? I think I need to watch this video again as I really have no clue what I'm doing with the skin care thing. Lol, I did get that I am supposes to exfoliate with a cream? because I have _slightly_ dry skin. One little spot just to the right of my right nostril. I started putting a dab of Lubriderm on it every night and morning which seemed to do the trick, but my skin is a bit _ashy_ I suppose. Ok, on to the second viewing I suppose. Edit: And your skin peel vid. Lol, never done one but for some reason that type of thing always looked fun. Much cooler than cucumber slices over your eyes. Speaking of which, I need a dark circle removal trick too. I've looked like a raccoon since I was 13.
I do agree with you and can guarantee that taking care of skin at early age, especially in yr teens will make a difference in your 40s or even 50s. I ll turn 54 this year and will retire in 5 months for pursuing my life passion, still having the appearance that can pass for a man in his late 30s, hopefully will land you with unexpected opportunities. Never too late to start.
Hi Chris, I love your videos. I’m 55 years old just like you obsessed with putting sunscreen on every day rain hail or shine from my early 20s. Today my skin looks like I’m in my early 40s definitely not 55. So yes sunscreen is number one in your skincare routine. 😊 Kathryn
Thank you for the video. Makes so much sense. Since my late 30s, my skin has been acting crazy. I never had acne growing up, but now I can feel bumps below my skin. What you said about skin taking twice as long to turn over explains it. I will be doing the 30 challenge. Thank you again.
Chris you're amazing 😃🙌 I have 2 concerns with what you're saying: 1. Vitamin C serum is not indicated for daytime because photosensitive. 2. Sun-screens have been proven to themselves cause cancer and skin issues. You say they have evolved over time and that's great if they are now harmless. I use logic: why so much skin cancer/melanoma etc issues in the Western world and not in tribal/aboriginal people? Thank you in advance for clarifying these important concerns!
When people are online and they say they look 20 years younger , I've gone and saw otherwise many times, big egos love that line , but this guy has the proof right in my face, cool bud ,
Well done Chris, your consistent efforts have paid well, and you're a credit to yourself. Thanks for sharing info and tips, always something new to learn, and differences in what works best for different individuals, so it's always valuable to us.
I love your videos, Chris! Lots of value and great affordable product recommendations. Thank you! A QUESTION: would you please make a video on the BEST LIP PLUMPING SERUM? I don’t want any invasive procedures or injections on my face or lips, but a serum, in addition to the lip skin care that you so clearly outlined in your videos, would be great!! ❤️
You look 37...whoa I've been wearing sunscreen since my teens and people are often shocked that I'm 56. I use creams and facials but I'm convinced sunscreen is a big factor in the health of my skin
I looked that good up until about age 54 or 55. It's a genetic thing - my mother looked 70ish when she was 84, did aerobics until age 89.But I did not take care of my health or my skin and by the time I was Chris' age I started to age rapidly. Now at 70 I am reversing my health and hence my aging process. I've got a long road ahead. It is not weird or unbelievable to look as good as Chris at his age. It's ok, really!
I'm new to your channel so I don't know if you've talked about this before. But there are two things that will make a dramatic enough difference to get a person to look 20 years younger. Those are Retin A (Tretinoin) and microneedling on a regular basis. Both of these will dramatically increase collagen production and elasticity, and reduce and prevent lines.
Hey all! I put together anti-aging plans for people all the time so I thought it was time to put one up on the channel so everyone can benefit. The problem is menopause. Suddenly women lose 30% collagen and the lower face collapses. I wish there were a solution for that.
Yep, me too x
There's a new product I just heard about recently that says it helps with that. It's kinda crazy expense (to me anyway), it's called Emepelle. They say it's made for 'estrogen defecient' skin. I still need to look into it more, but there are some videos floating around about it if you want to look at it

It's oestrogen. I think HRT might help, but I'm taking the natural route and have followed the recommendations from a book called Bio-Young by Roxi Dillon. Been taking Royal Jelly, amla, fenugreek etc - all helping to keep oestrogen levels up. My rheumatologist suggested French maritime pine park extract for a couple of autoimmune disorders I have. It reduced the red patches on my face and actually reduced fine lines on my face after three months of taking it. I can tolerate retinol now but still have issues with topical vitamin C.
What coq10 reveritol and collagen do you use on your skin?
Thank you for watching ❤
@@CHRISGIBSONLIVE I need the proof this guy is 57 where are the vintage pictures no proof not real age sorry bro..
@@Miguel-nj6en He's genuine.
Cut off lactose. Take verisol collagen.
Nasal breathing! Tape your mouth when you sleep
I put avocado on my face for 15-20 minutes a few times a week, and it really helps to moisturize my skin
It's very good for that. 👍
I’m allergic to avacado aloe and Shea any other suggestions
@@joanbaczek2575 You can use plain, organic greek yogurt.
Well thank you 😊
Chris what is the best thing for them broken capillaries on our face? I’ve had skin cancer & just below the scar I’ve & still do keep breaking out in them & tried everything imaginable I’m now using a vitamin k serum/oil will this help? I’m truly stuck what to do. Thank you for any advice or help😊
@@PaulaWilson444 Sclerotherapy could possibly help with that.
I eat organic beef liver, twice a week besides what u had mentioned and have a very low sugar intake, which is difficult for me,yet my face is healthier looking when I succeed, I notice it in my eyes
I think you look Amazing, and handsome! People are just Jealous.
Well yeah..he look 28 at the oldest. I’m not buying what he’s saying. I want proof ..he doesn’t even sound mature enough to be almost 60
@@tacobelle69he doesnt look 28! You need specs. His face structure and non prominent cheekbones show hes at least 50. The delusion is ridiculous. As bad as people saying Paul Rudd looks in his 30s 😆
I know this because I look in my 20s he doesn't 👍
I'm 37 and I am having crows feet under my eyes and bad wrinkles coming in. People always tell me I look like I'm in my 20's, but when certain light hits my face. I look 50
But I didn't use sunscreen during my youth. That's why I'm trying to get rid of dark spots.
Retinol will help 🌻
How old do I look?
Some people find laying in the sun very relaxing. I cannot think of anything that feels better am 60 and will be out there at 70 laying, relaxing, and getting in cool water when hot. Awww MY KIND OF DAY!! I WOULD BE VERY DEPRESSED IF DID NOT HAVE THIS CHOICE 3-4 MONTHS OUT OF YEAR. Can always use all the sunscreen u want. EACH TO THEIR OWN!!!
@@shelleyadamschristian6345 Me too I am 71 this year and not worried anymore about aging because guess what.. .....I am old.
Well thank you 😊
You're outstanding. I love this video. No B.S, no product pushing, no harmful advice. You just told us to eat healthy plant based foods, do meaningful exercise and use the right cleansing products in the right way. I love it. Plus you look fantastic.

Well thank you 😊
Thank you for the kind words!
OMGosh Chris, you look absolutely fab-u-lous mate. What an inspiration . . .
I'm 52 and appreciate Chris's wealth of information on the topic, but I bet you anything he has good genetics in the skin department.
I can’t believe this dude is 57. I look young at 41 but will start implementing this asap. Thanks !
I’m 50 with very good skin quality partly from genetics but mostly from lifestyle changes. I do just about everything you mentioned but I’m not as good at it as you. Thanks for confirming this routine and inspiring me to do better. ❤
He looks 35 max, amazing! Keep on brother
That's the plan!
Well thank you 😊 I hope you find the content helpful! Thank you for watching!
So sleep (Got that covered with 5-7 hours/night + a 1-2 hour nap)
Exercise (Got that handled as well with at minimum 60 minutes of extra movements per day)
Exfoliate? Not sure I've ever done that before, but we gotta start somewhere
Sunscreen? Begrudging _"OK."_
The vitamin C stuff?
Hi Chris,
I love your videos. I’m 55 years old just like you obsessed with putting sunscreen on every day rain hail or shine from my early 20s. Today my skin looks like I’m in my early 40s definitely not 55. So yes sunscreen is number one in your skincare routine. 😊
Kathryn
Yes, sunscreen kings & queens- we get our most sun damage in our 1st 18 years, & the damage shows up decades later.
Thank you for the video. Makes so much sense. Since my late 30s, my skin has been acting crazy. I never had acne growing up, but now I can feel bumps below my skin. What you said about skin taking twice as long to turn over explains it. I will be doing the 30 challenge. Thank you again.
Thank you for watching ❤ I'm glad the information was helpful.
Chris you're amazing 😃🙌
I have 2 concerns with what you're saying:
You look 37...whoa
I've been wearing sunscreen since my teens and people are often shocked that I'm 56. I use creams and facials but I'm convinced sunscreen is a big factor in the health of my skin
Indeed it is
I looked that good up until about age 54 or 55.
