I started using castor oil about a month ago. I’m out visiting my daughter and family and she said my skin never looked better. I’m 65 😊 What brand of frankincense oil do you use if you don’t mind me asking ?
I started using caster oil with frankincense essential oil on my face and especially on a raised seborrheic keratosis spot that was large and very visible in the middle of my forehead. In just under 2 months is has significantly reduced in size and colour. I also use caster oil on my neck and arms....it felt sticky and different at first but used to it now. My skin is now super soft and moisturized from it. I bought the light caster oil in a glass bottle and hexane free. The caster oil has not clogged my pores ( I have large pores) or caused any breakouts.
With q tip apply apple cider vinegar on keratosis then apply to bandaid and cover. apply morning and night. After 3 days it was gone. Extremely happy I didn’t go to dermatologist.
It's perfectly fine to take castor oil internally! They've been doing it for thousands of years! It comes in capsules now so you don't have to drink it, and as with anything, take less rather than more. It's helpful for constipation as it stimulates peristalsys. Rubbing it into the abdomen helps also.
I don't know Chris I use Castor Oil mixed with a chemical free cream made locally in my small Alaska town to apply to my face each night. I'm 82 and my skin is quite good from using Retin A for 42 years. I still use it a couple times a week. I also apply the Castor oil to the backs of my hands and I've seen a small improvement there but as one ages the skin on the backs of the hands thins. Supplements I take are Lutein, Synergy K, Slow Mag, Vit D-3, and Vit C. The real key is workouts. I do 5 a week and have worked out all my life. The body has to be balanced it can't just be one thing.
I put Frankincense on a ganglion cyst i had. Applying it 3-4 times a day for 1-1/2 months.. It went away and never came back.. That was back in 2013.. I also use castor oil & frankincense essential oil on my stomach to help shrink fibroids. It helps so much with pain of the cramps as well..
When I was a teenager and started getting pimples my uncle told me I should wash my face with nothing but cold water and that worked like a charm. The only time I ever got one or two pimples was when I had my period. I’m 70 now and I still wash my face with cold water. I am going to try castor oil for my wrinkles.
I started recently to do the same and get lots of compliments on my skin. I am fortunate to have younger skin already, but there is always room for improvement.
Helicrysm is also one of my favorite oils of all time, I wrote a book on essential oils (I have some unbelievable stories of how healing Helicrysm oil can be,) same with Frankincense. Sandalwood also, it’s frangrance is great for grounding, rooting, lifting mood and stress/depression. all these 3 are extremely expensive oils in their pure form, but that’s ok if they’re not pure, remember essential oils can be powerful and MUST be heavily diluted before use (starting at 5%) so buying an already diluted oil is not always a bad thing. IMO I’d rather someone buy a diluted oil then try and use a 100% pure oil ‘neat’ (undiluted), Great video - great choice of essential oils!!! Castor Oil is not an essential oil and deserves all the hype it’s finally receiving, I’ve been shouting about for 12+ years as I’ve seen amazing results, for all the things you see online (Castor Oil Pack for constipation, stimulates the liver, reduces cysts and hair growth) the claims you’re seeing online are not exaggerated I have many Castor Oil stories that would surprise most. 😮 people. Castor oil has the unique ability to reach and heal DEEP into the tissues where nothing else can reach. Always buy organic and in glass and don’t use plastic or non-organic material between your skin and the castor oil because or can draw contaminants into the skin! Great video!
I have the Helicrysum roller from doTerra. It was very expensive. They accidentally included it in my order. I called and told them. They said just to keep it. I am lucky.

@@OceanFrontVilla3 Grape seed oil, but it needs to be approved (with an official stamp) 100% cold pressed organic. I used 100% cold pressed rosehip oil for a few years before that and it was wonderful too, but the grapeseed is even better! It doesn't leave you greasy at all, does not burn your eyes when used around them, and completely got rid of that crepy feeling around my eyes. It even softens deep crinkles around eyes & scars. It doesn't "erase" them like so many claim about products, but it most definitely plumps them over a few weeks time. I use it every night after washing my face with a cheap, thin washcloth (great for exfoliating) and a gentle cetaphil bar cleanser (cheaper). I rinse really well and when I have it, I add hyleronic acid. Let it dry for a second and then slather on the oil. After about 3 minutes the oil is no longer greasy feeling. I've even gotten one of my horsewomen friends (who barely use anything other than soap, can you imagine:)) and she called me all excited about how her face feels.
When you said you'd been in the skin care line over 36 years, I about fainted! You don't even look 30! So you MUST know what you're talking about. As I listened to the end, I appreciate the fact that you do!! Thanks for all the terrific information!
I thought the same. To be in the business for 36 years, he had to learn things first, so he would have had to have been at least 20 to start being in the business. No way is he in his 50s. I think he's probably 36, and just feels like he spent his life in the business. 😊
I’ve ordered and reordered from Vitality Extracts and have found them to be very reliable. Fast shipping and quality oils. They also offer sales very frequently.
Dawn dish soap is super gentle add a few drops to shampoo to really get castor oil out of your hair. It will not affect the castor oil treatment especially when rinsing you use a tad cooler rinse water. 😊 I've done this treatment for soooooo long. People actually ask me if they can touch my hair. I'll be 70 soon, and so far, no grey hair.
I've been using castor oil for a month and really like it. I started using Helichrysum on spider veins and varicose veins about 2 weeks ago. The spider veins are lightening up from dark red to pink but I haven't seen much improvement on the more purple/dark varicose veins. I enjoy the smell of Helichrysum too, very relaxing.
Helichrysum is amazing for pain. ❤️🩹 Frankincense is so nice for tightening skin. 🧖♀️ Castor oil smoothes skin and supports collagen. 💪🏼 Sweet Almond oil is a great skin conditioner. 💁🏼♀️ Sandalwood is antibacterial 🦠 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I had a bad cut on my hand that was more like a tear than a slice. It wouldn't stop bleeding and was very painful. After bleeding through several bandages, I decided to try a drop of helichrysum oil for the anti-inflammatory properties, because it was so painful. It stopped bleeding almost instantly and a lot of the pain and soreness was gone soon after. I was amazed, and helichrysum is always on hand in my home since for first aid.
Tablespoons of Castor Oil was used as a punishment for misbehaving by one parent in my childhood. Hard to use today as a skin care product, but I tried it on my face and skin, and it really helps keep my skin looking young and fresh!
Thanks Chris. I’ve been using Vitality extracts for a couple of years. About 6 months ago, I started adding some Cold press organic Castor oil once I use some of the Skin Emvy out of the dropper bottle. I love the hair envy which helped my thinning hair greatly. Again, I added Castor oil to Hair Envy as well. Great products. Great advice as always ♥️
I mix 50/50 castor oil with coconut oil and throw a bunch of whole cloves in a glass bottle for scent. Moisturize all over after every shower. Love it.
Hi ❤ I started using the roll on of Skin Envy 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say I cant see any difference what so ever . Ive wondered if they gv me the wrong product ?
Hi amazing information. I think chris is really credible. I plan to follow him and will try some of these oils in addition to Retin A which I use carefully because it will irritate until your skin gets use to it. RetinA is only by prescription but it really has worked for me quickly reducing fine lines and firming my skin.
Thank you so very much for another great video Chris. I have Lupus and often get the infamous Lupus rash on my face as well as other skin problems. I don't like using chemicals on my already inflamed skin & your videos help greatly in finding alternatives. Thank you again !!
Pic shown, induced by medication(s) when meds changed or stopped, it cleared up = resolved.. not just aging. Found this in myself and been in healthcare 40 years plus... Love this info in video
Thank you for these helpful natural tips! My dilemma is that I have scaring around my eyes from Zanthroderma removal and dont know what to use close to my eyes. Any ideas/suggestions? Prefer natural products if possible.
How many oils can you use at the same time?? Without decreased effectiveness...also just FYI the vitality oils are way cheaper on the site instead of Amazon..ie 37 compare to 14...
My experience, was I bought the dark from Jamaica. It turned my feet dark, it’s a dark oil. I put it in my white hair and it turned dark. I went back to thick gooey clear Castor oil.
Great video thank you. However, 71 years of age I tried Caster oil and it gave me acne. Not nice zits and wrinkles. I do use Helichrysum and frankincense but I think will add Myrr as well. I don’t know about fractionated coconut oil either because coconut oil also plugs my pores. Yes everyone is different.🇨🇦🙏
How about a carrier oil your skin likes and add 90% carrier oil and 10% castor oil? Then your skin can still get some benefits from the castor oil seeds. For example, using sunflower seed oil or safflower oil or emu oil.
I am so glad I watched this video. I do have frankinscence oil at home and I suffer from those red patches on my arms that look like large pools of blood under the skin. My worst issue right now is a bad allergic reaction all over my body that mimics psorasis/exzema which not one dermatologist or Dr. has been able to get rid of. 5 months of these acne looking spots that no dermatologist creme works to get rid of. Should I try castor oil?
Yes to castor. You may be sensitive to PROPYLENE GLYCOL. It's in EVERYTHING you put on your skin. Goes by about 10+ diff names. Learn to make your own body butters and use castile soap. Recipes on YT and in Browder. Very EASY once you learn.
I have the same issue. First mold exposure rashes, then allergic reaction to penicillin (facial swelling and more rashes on my whole body), then rashes from prednisone given as an emergency treatment. First RX drugs I've used in YEARS. 😞 Going on a month now. Been using castor oil lately since aquaphor caused millia and more welt-like bumps on my face. Nightmare. I'm starting treatments with a naturopath next week. Good luck to you!
Thank you for your wisdom, advice and recommendations. I went to Amazon to purchase Skin Envy and saw this comment in the reviews. I have had multiple experiences with companies changing their formulation. I would like your feedback. Is this Skin Envy stil the same as you recommended? .. The Amazon comment from purchase April 27, 2024: "I have been purchasing skin envy and other products for well over a year & loved it. Recently when I purchased it, I immediately noticed that they changed the formula. It was horrible. It had no scent and didn't have enough oil to spread over my face. I knew this wasn't normal & emailed the company. After 12 days, there response was ... "thanks for your feedback"." Thank you for your feedback Chris. Your face is what made me a believer.
I’d love to try this but you mix the Helichrysum oil with a carrier oil before applying to the spider veins? And how many times a day to apply it for it to be effective? Thank you.
Very helpful video! Thank you for explaining the benefits of these oils. I am new to the use of oils on my face and arms, at 75 years old; I see improvements with the ones I have been using, but the oils you describe in this video could be worth trying now.
Thank you so much!!! I was about to give up on being able to change things. I am only 54 but my hands and neck have begun to say differently, due to my being on Prednisone. I have Lupus and have to be on it but its thinned my skin. My hands are very crepey, wrinkly, and thin. I had no idea whether you could reverse the damage done, but you've shown me a lot of things I could try. I am, also, on disability and taking care of a medically, fragile child, so money is very tight. Thank you for showing me some affordable options!!! I was beginning to think only the rich could stay youthful or attempt it. Thank you again for all you do and continue to do!!! I love all your videos!!! What are your thoughts on bovine collegen powder? I've been thinking of buying some to try, but wondered your thoughts on it and which kind is better. Take care and God bless!!!
Hey Chris Love your Chanel ! Just stumbled on it. I am obsessed with essential oils my whole life . Starting using patchouli oil when I was 15 and now for therapeutic . I made a concoction with frankincense helichrysum and arnica oil for skin conditions you mentioned . What do you think of using Rose hip oil as a carrier oil ? It has natural retinol properties for creepy skin . Your videos on acne didn’t mention on the nose . I’m 66 and can’t figure out why I’m getting pimples on my nose . It started during COVID when we had to use masks . My derm gave me prescription Clindamycin it worked . I use Retin A sparingly , I will never go without it . Still occasional breaking out , I can’t figure out if it’s a food , my glasses / sunglasses , a skincare product , sunscreen (yes sunscreen ) or essential oil ! I made a toner with Melissa oil , too soon to see if that works , put blue tansy drops in a moisturizer that doesn’t break me out dedicated to my nose lol . But still .. Help PS . I ordered the Skin Envy it’s shipping out 3/26-4/6 late . Should I avoid the nose I’m nervous . I know a lot of essential oils are good for acne but I still got the suckers . I tried Castor oil over night I couldn’t get past the first night I broke out immediately and when I use it on my eyelashes I feel that could be it help again pls
I bruise like that due to Ehlers Danlose Syndrome. I had health issues since I was a kid. Major knee surgery at 19. I was finally correctly diagnosed at 67!!!
Hello, to be safe, I would use a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil. For example, start with 1 tablespoon of carrier oil with one drop of 1 of your selected oils. Test each selected oil this way because each oil has different properties and your body can be more sensitive to a particular oil. After you do the testing of each oil, then you can mix using a small amount at a time, 1 drop at a time... Some oils are very potent. I would not mix more than 3 different oils. Don't do what I did.... I filled my bathtub with hot water for a bath, put in 10 drops of lemon oil and 10 drops of orange oil.,..... After 10 min my whole body broke out into a burning rash (no, I'm not allergic to either oil) because I added to much oil. After that, when I used 5 drop of each oil in a bathtub of water, it was perfect.. I hope this helps.
I like lavender and tea tree oil for skin issues. I like to put a coat of colloidal oatmeal lotion (Aveeno) on my face every night and several coats of organic coconut oil on my whole body, beard, and hair every morning before going to the Y and I reapply before sitting in the steam and sauna. I'm 66 but people always compliment me on my smooth glowing skin. I have all the oils you mentioned (Young Living) as my mother was into oils and taught me about them. Great vid here!
I've used BOTH 100% organic cold pressed (packed in glass, not plastic, very important!!) castor oil and Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) from the same brand. The JBCO beans are roasted prior to pressing to extract the oil. I have to tell you, I've had better results with the JBCO than the cold pressed (clear). I ended up with the JBCO by accident (long story) and was out of the cold pressed, so I decided to use it until I could get my 'regular' kind. At first I wasn't a fan of the smoky scent of the JBCO but I was a fan of how great my skin did. It seems to soak into the skin better than the cold pressed though it's just as thick.
I tried organic castor oil for a couple months. It did help hair growth and semi=shrink several cysts, but no improvement on crepe skin and easy bruising. Now trying squalene
I'm really glad I found your channel. I almost bought some very expensive devices yesterday to tone my face, etc., yesterday. But I would rather use the oils, so this was very timely for me.
Chris you were discussing the benefits of a specific blend of Vitality Extracts including the following oils: Frankincense; Myrrh; Sandalwood; and Fractionated Coconut oil. What is the product line name, where do I find it, is it available in Canada, what is the cost? Please and thanks, Elaine
CHRIS GIBSON❤ I have severe scarring on my skin that is thin and white patches. Do you have any suggestions to even out the tone? Even tanner won't cover😢
Hey what if you already have Sandalwood, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Coconut Oil? Please can you tell me how to make my own skin care /facial oil with the ratios?
It has many warnings with using not allowing it to enter airways for example stating it can be fatal ?. personally I would not use anything on my skin that carries chemical rated warnings symbols and this product has 4
Hey, Castrol oil needs to be in a glass bottle only and should be organic cold pressed for the best quality. Love your videos thank you so much for sharing and you’re just adorable!
I use helichrysum( strawflower), frankincense, myrrh,Yarrow , coconut, Shea butter, Argan, eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary, oregano, rose, jojoba, lavender, lemongrass, orange oil, I know there are others. I am looking into moringa oil.
Hi, you know what you are talking about. I have been using frankincense oil. I get purple marks on my arms and this makes them disappear in 1 week which is super fast. You can see the lightening and healing every day. Thank you soooooo much.
@@mrs.h7171 I use a “kids” sunscreen. Active ingredient zinc oxide 24%. I have used it to remove skin issues due to being exposed to this Florida sun as well. Apple cider vinegar is good too..
Hi , can castor oil and Helichrysum be mix together for eczema, or how would you recommend. Thank you, excellent video and very informative. Well appreciate it.
I use these two oils mixed on my husband’s ankle where he has a chronic old wound spot due to lack of circulation. From another YT channel info, I settled on a 2:1 ratio, two parts castor oil to one part helichrysum oil about ten drops and five drops produces enough to spread on the area I want to cover and massage in.

When you said you'd been in the skin care line over 36 years, I about fainted! You don't even look 30! So you MUST know what you're talking about. As I listened to the end, I appreciate the fact that you do!! Thanks for all the terrific information!
Thank you for watching!
😂 Same here.
I thought the same. To be in the business for 36 years, he had to learn things first, so he would have had to have been at least 20 to start being in the business. No way is he in his 50s. I think he's probably 36, and just feels like he spent his life in the business. 😊
He’s 59!
@@JettypilelegsHe never said that. He did say that he doesn’t LOOK like his skin is that of someone 59, or words to that effect! Read carefully.
I’ve ordered and reordered from Vitality Extracts and have found them to be very reliable. Fast shipping and quality oils. They also offer sales very frequently.
So very well presented. I’m an essential oil lady. There is a learning process so listen it will really help down the road
Dish soap is not gentle
Very toxic
I think 2 drops are fine. I would love to know what else you do that allows for no gray hair at nearly 70.
That’s too bad. Gray/silver/white hair is gorgeous!!
No grey hair. You are my shero.
I make my own Helichrysum oil , dandelion oil , sage oil etc ,,, this year I’m gonna try and make my own caster oil 😎
Apparently castor oil can be toxic and goes through a complex process to make it not be so, so you might want to look into that first ❤
Castor must be processed properly. Or is poisonous!!! Please do not make yourself.
I’ve heard that Castrol oil should always come in a glass, dark jar due to light decreasing the efficacy.
Castrol oil is used in your car. Castor oil is for the body.
What about taking frankincense capsules, that is, Boswellia? Fixing skin problems from inside the body… Would it help?
I've been using castor oil for a month and really like it. I started using Helichrysum on spider veins and varicose veins about 2 weeks ago. The spider veins are lightening up from dark red to pink but I haven't seen much improvement on the more purple/dark varicose veins. I enjoy the smell of Helichrysum too, very relaxing.
Niacinamide 10% gets rid of spider veins but takes a while it worked for me 🧡

I had a bad cut on my hand that was more like a tear than a slice. It wouldn't stop bleeding and was very painful. After bleeding through several bandages, I decided to try a drop of helichrysum oil for the anti-inflammatory properties, because it was so painful. It stopped bleeding almost instantly and a lot of the pain and soreness was gone soon after. I was amazed, and helichrysum is always on hand in my home since for first aid.
Thanks for this summary.

Tablespoons of Castor Oil was used as a punishment for misbehaving by one parent in my childhood. Hard to use today as a skin care product, but I tried it on my face and skin, and it really helps keep my skin looking young and fresh!
I love each of these oils, and they work so well. For very little $$$$$

Never use vasoline on your face according to doctors. Its petroleum-based very harmful for skin. I use to use it too. Now i use castor oil.
So many better oils than Vaseline, I used to love it but it's not really good for you.
Edgar Casey used Castor oil for everything! Helicrysum oil too, got it.
It’s so overwhelming. I’m so happy you came up with this. Thank you ❤
Helichrysum helps with bleeding and is sometimes referred to as liquid band aid.
Where do you get this oil????
I mix 50/50 castor oil with coconut oil and throw a bunch of whole cloves in a glass bottle for scent. Moisturize all over after every shower. Love it.
Olive oil is good also its also ancient
I am glad I found your video. I just want to start this so soon. Thank you
Thanks Chris for sharing these amazing oils. Will be purchasing some of them. I use castor oil. God bless.
Hi ❤ I started using the roll on of Skin Envy 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say I cant see any difference what so ever . Ive wondered if they gv me the wrong product ?
what are you uaing it to correct?
Hi amazing information. I think chris is really credible. I plan to follow him and will try some of these oils in addition to Retin A which I use carefully because it will irritate until your skin gets use to it. RetinA is only by prescription but it really has worked for me quickly reducing fine lines and firming my skin.
Thank you so very much for another great video Chris. I have Lupus and often get the infamous Lupus rash on my face as well as other skin problems. I don't like using chemicals on my already inflamed skin & your videos help greatly in finding alternatives. Thank you again !!

Copy that, I just discovered helichrysum for my PIH problem, it's so good and the scent is heavenly.
Chris, which one should we buy the light or dark castor oil? What is the difference between the 2 oils.
My experience, was I bought the dark from Jamaica. It turned my feet dark, it’s a dark oil. I put it in my white hair and it turned dark. I went back to thick gooey clear Castor oil.
Thank you! I need this for weird bruising on arms from thinning skin! 😊
Collagen works for this problem
Grape Seed Extract helped greatly with my thinning skin.
@crystalcrum8942 good to know ty
I’m wondering if you could have Demodex mites?
@@chriscarterdavies5998 I've never heard of this but thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will look into it!
"thanks for your feedback"."
Thank you for your feedback Chris.
Your face is what made me a believer.
You can go to EWG cosmetics database to find out how toxic a product is.

Great information ‼️
Hey Chris
Love your Chanel !
Help
PS .
Your opinion on age spots? Is castor oil good or is there something better? I found all this info interesting thank you
Castor oil is the best!!

Super valuable info. Thx Chris!
Can I apply Helichrysum and frankincense directly on my face mixed together. After a patch test
No you need to dilute 3% in carrier oil.
Using one essential oil with another does not make one a carrier oil. Geez.

I use these two oils mixed on my husband’s ankle where he has a chronic old wound spot due to lack of circulation.
