Hawx Won I’m about to start microneedling again with a dermapen. Glad to hear you’ve had so much success! So, you put your results down to: microneedling, massage (both breaking fibrosis and increasing circulation) as well as nutrition and avoiding inflammation. Is that correct?
@@Michael-gq9cd yes, in my opinion, those things work far more than blocking DHT, even if I significantly tapered off my regime, the regrowth didn't ever stop, I think' it's worth a try

This is great. However, there have been many people who have regrown hair in areas of complete baldness with combination of microneedling + minoxidil + fin/dut. So it is absolutely possible to regrow hair in areas where there is almost none left.
True, but these guys would be out of business if they admitted that it does work on completely bald patches, as it has with me (without Minoxidil or Finestride)

My dr tested me for vit d. I was very low. I was already using minoxidil and demra rolling with 1,mm roller. I was rolling about once a month. This combination seemed to stop or slow down my hair loss. But once I started 10,000 iue’s of vit d, my hair grew back and thickened. Even my bald spot grew hair. My hairstylist said your hair is different as she said it was much thicker. Just my results.
Micro needling is the best and lowest risk hair loss protocol they just don’t want to admit it because it’s basically free and they can’t charge for it

Logic of derma- rolling - stimulate the skin. Optimum tip for the scalp ? - more inflammation. Target area between is 1 - 1.5 mm under the skin, where the stem cells zone (bulge) is. Do not do more then 2-3 times a week. Don’t over inflame the area. Is it recommended? - Considered an add-on. Not the first thing suggested. Little is good, to much is not. If fully bald, not going to help. -Behind Minoxidol and , did you say laser therapy?
I don't know it it works for me. I don't understand if my hair are totally gone in that area or if I have a little. I can say that there are "less" there... Will derma rolling help me?

Not much to worry about, you can rock caps and beanies in the summer and in the winter! I often wear a cap indoors with shades! My hair is fine but I have an affective way to make it look thicker and it’s shaved. I’ve never looked better. Take it easy man.

1.5mm needle length once every 3 weeks. Press each spot 1-2x. You want to stop once you see erythema. There is no need to bleed. It takes a couple minutes for the erythema to begin so don’t worry if you don’t see it right away. I went over my scalp once time and it turned red after 3-5min. I see some people staring each spot 5+ times. There is no need. Also risking scarring by doing that. The reason for doing it every 3 weeks is that you want to give it time to heal. That’s where the benifts come. According to literature, tissue repair peaks at the 2 week mark and can last anywhere up to 6 weeks. But for a depth of 1.5mm, I don’t see a reason to wait 6 weeks.
I've been dermarolling for around 4months using a 1.5mm once a week around the temples and have seen some growth. Nothing spectacular just stragglers. So it does kinda work at the temples.
Plz can you elaborate about it. Cause most of the sources that if one experiences a complete baldness on temple area then there will be no way of getting them back.
@@kinnanshah1089 Complete baldness is rare, the hair follicles are still there they are just dormant. Or there is very small hair which is not visible to the eye.
I can't say dermarolling has done much for my hairline, I'd attribute any of the hair progress to minoxidil once a day. But it has without question reversed the aging of the skin on my face. I dermaroll once a week on Sundays using a 1.5mm roller. Any wrinkles, blemishes, sun spots that I had on my skin are pretty much gone. The results for me were not immediate. I've been using it for around 12 months, and started to see big changes around 4 months.
But using combination of both would be powerful to stimulate hair regrowth. Also what was the lenght of dermaroller that was effective, according to study?
Secondly, I’ve a suggestion for a video, where u talk about combining various treatments (stimulation & blockers) by degree of hair loss. That is, if ur hair loss is this much, then do this and this, if ur hair loss is this, then do this, this and this etc. You don’t have to go into the depth of any of those treatments since you have in-depth video on each, which u can link in the description. All in all, great channel. Keep it up 👍
Thanks for the informative video guys. There may be a difference between derma-rolling and microneedling with a mechanical pen. The former may have further potential to damage the hair than the latter, as you are rolling and possible tearing the skin slightly. The latter performs an automated puncturing motion which does less unnecessary damage to the scalp.
Derma rolling + minoxodil is a really good combination as minoxodil can help regrow hair, and derma rolling helps make the hair healthier by increasing blood flow
I started doing this before anyone as far as I knew, said it was a method for hair regrowth. A thought came to my mind one day, " If I cause minor irritation to the surface of skin, as a rule of how the body functions, the body must start repairing itself. If the body starts repairing itself, it must send vital repair elements into the site of repair, including a increase in blood circulation in this particular area." I got tired of feeling like a victim of numerous BS advice, so I started thinking for myself and not listening to the so-called experts. Before the micro needling combs came out, I was using a sanitized sewing needle. Micro needling definitely does work, but you have to be very patient as you won't see progress until about 6 months. I'm 1 1/2 years into consistent microneedling-2--3 times per week. I don't use any shelf-hair soaps nor bar soaps on my scalp. I discovered that they were part of the problem of clogging not only my pores on my scalp but also all over my body. I only use Ajax 100% antibacterial dish soap to wash my scalp and body with now. As an added measure while on days that I have more time, I also pour rubbing alcohol onto my cleaned scalp and then use the micro needling technique to work the solution into the pores of the scalp to help dissolve things that clog the hair follicle. After 1 1/2 years I reopened closed hair follicles and have had a lot of hair growth. I'm on pace at this rate, to experience near full coverage of my scalp again at the top part of the crown. As a rule of thumb, I use the micro needle on every area of my scalp just to prevent extra work later on from unexpected areas loosing hair. If you're consistent, you will gain a good return for the time and effort that you've invested. I recommend while anyone is waiting for their hair to grow back while using this method, to use hair-building-fibers to cover the bald spot. They work and you cannot tell them apart from one's own hair. My wife had taken a few photos outside in the light in a candid way while we were out on vacation up in the mountains. You cannot tell that the hair building fibers are fake. They blend into my hair seamlessly and hide the bald spot even in windy and rainy conditions.
which needle size is best 0.5 or 1 oe 1.5 mm for hair regrowth, and what's the time interval between, do we need to apply before and or after derma rolling, thanks for the reviewed reply, thanks
there are several accounts of men who have dermarolled on a completely bald scalp and have experienced regrowth. So i dont think this is only for those who have experienced 50% miniaturization
I have a m shape bald spot due to stress over the years I got this at a young age and now derma rolling with a .5 and I can see hair like peach fuzz in the bald spot areas, I see hair sprouts and I started taking vitamins and using biotin. So I think this combo works very well just be consistent and every other day take collagen
I saw a study that said 0.6mm was optimal for penetration. Now, depending on how much hair you have, your needle length needs to vary to account for the extra padding due to the hair layer. For a bald guy, 0.6mm, for someone with more hair, maybe 1.0mm is needed
I've been a Norwwod 7 for 10+ years and started microneedling about 45 days ago, I now have lots of new tiny hairs sprouting up in places I haven't had hair for over 10 years. So you say that once your hair is less than 50% diameter you cant regrow that hair...I say you can regrow hair even if it has stopped growing completely in that area for years, I'm walking proof of that.
@@justineandserena no actually I used 5% minoxidil on and off 3 weeks but each time I got swollen lymph nodes in my neck and behind my right ear which freaked me out! So I stopped but turns out in some people microneedling can cause temporary swollen lymph nodes. Since I had stopped minox I noticed little new hairs still keep sprouting up so I figured I'll see how much I can grow without minox. since any new hairs will become dependent on it. I only use ketoconazole shampoo 2 times week, nioxin stage 2 shampoo twice/three times a week and I always mix 6 drops of peppermint oil in with both shampoos before applying to my head. I also use CRL peptide hr complex every morning after I do a quick derma roll at 0.3mm. I microneedle @ 1.5mm once a week. I've been bald (Norwood 7) shaved my head since my 20s and got SMP @ 35. Never expected to get any hair back on my head so I didnt want to take fin incase of permanent sides. I have access from my work to a microneedling machine and the peptide hr complex. This was more of an experiment I honestly never expected to see any regrowth on the top of my head and in the medical community it is a rule of thumb that once you go bald the hair is gone for good which I now have to say is false.
I'm so happy I came across this channel. The information and advise given is just amazing. Thanks to the Hairloss show I took the plunge and started using Minoxidil in January and Finasteride in March 2020 and just started derma rolling. I did initially shed hairs, then before I knew it, I actually started to get my old hairline back! I'm 31 yrs old and I can honestly say my hair is back to how it was years ago! I can't wait to see how it will be after a year of using the treatment!

7:34 Oh so that's why it hurts so much more on the hairline. So doing it once a week with a dermapen set to 1.5mm, for about 10 minutes, is a good protocol? When it comes to light therapy, is there any significant difference between LED and Laser?
@@samsungaccount1753 almost a year of microneedling at 1.5mm, but I havent been consistent. Once a week, or three times a month, for several months, and I've seen results. But it requires the repeated wounding to rebuild the cutaneous environment to deliver blood to the hair follicles. Calcification of the skin is a big part of hair loss. My regime is microneedling, and topical finasteride and minoxidil. I get 5mg finasteride from india, crush the pills and mix it with minoxidil. I apply that once a day for two or three weeks, then take a week or two and just apply minoxidil. My experience with this regimen is that the shedding has absolutely halted. And the hair I have is getting thicker. The microneedling really makes a difference, and it's not a pharmaceutical. So it's something that hurts a little but it's not poison. I use the poisons too but I try to keep my body from becoming totally acclimated to the finasteride.
I have been dermarolling with a 192-pin roller for a month and a half. Very positive experience. Have noticed small hairs poppping in my hairline and midscalp. I am also on min and topical fin ofc. I suggest 1.5mm roller or pen every week, with horizontal, diagonal and perpendicular movements all over the scalp. From my experience, you need to push the roller a lot so that you feel some pain, in order for it to be effective.
Were these "bald areas" of the hairline like they said the video, where you can't see the hair, it's less than 50% of the original diameter? I used a 1.5mm a couple times 6-8 weeks apart and see some baby hair sprouting on the border of my hairline, but not much further down to the perfect no recession line. Also, do you know the optimal frequency of use? I know studies do 10-14 days. I've heard 4-8 weeks is what clinics do.
I do it until it makes me tear up. Feels good and I rest a day before I reapply minoxidil. Still too early (first 3 months) to tell but my face already has great results with dermaroller.
the potency of those option is: monoxidil, microneedling, monoxidil + microneedling (the most potent): Dont do monoxidil alone and try firstly needles alone
Docs, what’s a good dermaroller brand? The reason for asking is that there are many pseudo-dermarollers for sale online that don’t quite seem to be dermarollers of the sort talked about in this video
I used fina for 20 years, minodixil religiously, PRP, cortisone etc. They worked. But when I started to use Dermaroller, it completely changed my hair!!! Thanks to DR, I reduced the bald area on my crown and some hair (very few) regrowth on my temples. I used 1.5 mm DR + castor oil. AMAZING!!!!!!!! The only problem with DR is that during rolling I broke some hairs. So I skipped to Dermapen. Now I have two question: how long should I wait to Dermorolling after hair transplant? Considering my HT involved only my hairline, can I have dormorolling on the crown as soon as possible?
What about the side effects? Im in the fence of taking finasteride. I'm 25 years old, and started balding at 15 i have a lot of hair yet but it is advancing slowly but surely. Thanks
I have done my hair transplant 10 years ago; it was fine for a few years. Until one day that other hair are became so thin and bald, then your transplant hair look unsually strong, your whole hair just look unnatural. and if one day you go so bald that you want to shave your head, you will then realized your recipient skin area looks like full of scar, different color to your other scalp color. My conclusion is, your transplanted hair look fine in short, but in long term if you do lose hair nearby, then your hair in overall will just look terrible, and the skin also
Would you recommend getting a derma-pen instead? And if you use a derma-roller, do you need to put the needle all the way in? I bought a derma-roller but it seems really difficult and painful to put the entire needle in. Derma-pens are supposed to be less painful and more effective.
Great informative video. How long after a hair transplant should you dermaroll? Will it affect the transplanted grafts? Also, do you think taking 1mg fin twice a week is enough or too less for an actual impact.
So, I've been shaving my head to the skin for 8 yrs now... a few months ago, one of my best friends suggested using a homemade remedy of Apple Cidar Vinegar and some oils and water and what d'u know, my entire head is now covered in fine new growth that is thickening week by week! Also, I do a charcoal, bentonite and ground coffee mask all over the top of my head 2-3 times a week and I'm really happy with the results so far. I've supplemented that with some Biotin and collagen gummies and now I'm considering getting a derma-roller. I expect the journey to a complete regrowth to take maybe 1.5-2 yrs but I do believe it'll come right back
What are your thoughts on dermarolling vs a microneedling device? The logic being that the rolling motion creates a long triangular "slit" in your scalp as it's moving longitudinally as well as vertically, whereas a derma pen type of device goes straight in straight out making a "shaft" wound instead. Maybe more wounding = more growth factors? But you have to be careful about scarring and too much damage like you said
Studies actually have made a case for derma-rolling being more affective for hair loss than minoxidil. Combining the two is where the greatest results are seen. So do both! Derma-rolling once a week with a 1mm-1.5mm roller and a daily dose of minoxidil is sufficient.
Hi doctor I stopped minoxidil after hair transplant, few of transplanted hairs have fallen out..will it grow back if i start minoxidil again with derma roller?
Thank you so much, i have couple of questions please, do you prefer Dermastamp than Dermaroller? Aslo what kind of topicals are recommended to apply after? Is it possible to use it everyday at depth of 0.25 to increase penetration of topicals? lastly could you please talk about combining dermarolling with Peppermint and Rosemary oil?
Pen is considered better from the standpoint of fewer and more focused wounds, but I think rollers are just as good. You may want to invest in a pen if you also intend to puncture your face for anti-aging purposes (as a lot of women for example tend to do), since you can modify easily the needle length. No topicals are recommended for the scalp after rolling. However, I continue my regular minoxidil routine 12h after the dermarolling session.
I prefer a dermastamp, you can vary the length of the needles, Probably less damaging too, because you can push and pull straight up and down, and hairs won't tangle in. Thanks for the video! I was using 2 mm but am going back to 1.25 -1.5 now.
Peppermint oil has been shown in a korean study to work better topically than minoxidil. Has anyone combined this with derma rolling as well? Minus of course that promissing Korean study.
Nice, how's everything now? I'm thinking about getting a tranplant because I think the minoxidil/rosemary oil and derma roller is only a temporary solution and it takes too long to see results, I want thick hair again now not in 2 years.

Serious questions. If increasing blood circulation is so effective has there been any studies trying to put ice packs on your head once a day a or something? Ice decreases inflammation when it's applied but when you remove it, circulation is actually increased for a time as the blood rushes back to the area.
Wait! What about showering? For how long I have to wait before I can take the next shower after using derma roller? If it takes couple of days to heal, should I not clean my head (using shampoo) for at least 2 - 3 days?

Have a few questions if anyone can answer: 1-what’s the best derma roller to use on the head 2-what’s the best size (mm) to use 3-what’s the difference of treatment on using a derma roller on the head for hair loss, and a derma roller for acne on the face I’m 19 and balding and hair is thinning fast, but I don’t know what derma rollers to get and products with that, I also want to treat my acne scars with a separate derma roller too, If anyone can answer any of these it will be appreciated 🙏
I’m doing minoxidil, derma rolling plus black castor oil treatments and they’ve helped my hair loss so much, from bald patches to 80% regrow. Only need patience to see it through. Question: is it weird that I’ve got high threshold on pain, I can “stab” my scalp with the rollers and won’t blink.
Can you please discuss regarding the shedding phase after stopping minoxidil? If whether hair prior to using minoxidil will grow back after the shedding phase is done?
@Vinny Booboo lets say you quit minoxidil after 3 months and due to the shedding of quitting minoxidil you have lost over 30% hair of what you initially had. I'd be nice to know the science behind whether the hair shed will grow back or not.

There are people who say Dermarolling isn't good because the hairs grown in patchy areas are only vellus hairs. But cosmetically the difference is major and is the difference between a patchy and shiny head in pictures v.s what could look like a full head of hair. There is a whole industry of tattooing the scalp [micropigmenting] for that very reason. Dermarolling is great.

So an average person should use 1mm needle or 1.5mm? What do you say?
I don't know it it works for me. I don't understand if my hair are totally gone in that area or if I have a little. I can say that there are "less" there... Will derma rolling help me?

There may be a difference between derma-rolling and microneedling with a mechanical pen.
The former may have further potential to damage the hair than the latter, as you are rolling and possible tearing the skin slightly.
The latter performs an automated puncturing motion which does less unnecessary damage to the scalp.
You wanna get medical grade. The thinner the needle the better .
Derma rolling + minoxodil is a really good combination as minoxodil can help regrow hair, and derma rolling helps make the hair healthier by increasing blood flow
But you will end up losing the hair when you stop using derma rolling
@@Al-Dhahabi04so just use derma roller not with minoxidil
But that is not healthy, bcs high concentrations of minoxidil will be absorbed to the blood

From my research I read that microneedling + minoxidil is supposedly good for increasing minoxidil absorption into the scalp? Any truth to this?
What are your thoughts on dermarolling vs a microneedling device? The logic being that the rolling motion creates a long triangular "slit" in your scalp as it's moving longitudinally as well as vertically, whereas a derma pen type of device goes straight in straight out making a "shaft" wound instead. Maybe more wounding = more growth factors? But you have to be careful about scarring and too much damage like you said
Using a derma pen would mean theres less of a chance of it damaging your existing hairs because its more accurate, but the process can take longer

Studies actually have made a case for derma-rolling being more affective for hair loss than minoxidil. Combining the two is where the greatest results are seen. So do both! Derma-rolling once a week with a 1mm-1.5mm roller and a daily dose of minoxidil is sufficient.
What studies? Do you have links?
You guys kept your promise 👏🏽
my hair is already growing back thanks to dermarolling and rosemary oil/black castor and peppermint oil
Dont lie
Working for me roller and peppermint oil
How long after did you see results? Also how many times per week were you using it?
@@gary36104 How long after did you see results? Also how many times per week were you using it?
@@r.k862 probably 5 to 6 months. First month twice a week then once a week will keep doing it for thicker results
When should we put cream lotion onto our scalp ? Before or after derma rolling session ? Thank you for the wonderful service
which cream r u suggesting
This video has great before and after photos. ruclips.net/video/kHBteCwhsmY/видео.html
Definitely after. You want to derma roll a clean scalp
Hi doctor
I stopped minoxidil after hair transplant, few of transplanted hairs have fallen out..will it grow back if i start minoxidil again with derma roller?
I remember when not too long ago, everyone used to laugh at these things and say they were harmful. How times have changed.
A great explanation for the hair loss treatment. Would help a lot of people in choosing the right hair loss treatment for them.
I use a 1.5 mm stamp and love it. Way more effective and easier to use than a roller
I invested in a Derminator
Which brand?
Phil Chadwick Dr Pen A6 is a good one
guys who use dermastamp.. ever get any shedding or hair loss from it? my left side took a hit
Peppermint oil has been shown in a korean study to work better topically than minoxidil. Has anyone combined this with derma rolling as well? Minus of course that promissing Korean study.
After getting transplants from my beard and pubic area my hair on my head looked great.i went on to co star in the sitcom Steinfeld as Cosmo Kramer.
Nice, how's everything now? I'm thinking about getting a tranplant because I think the minoxidil/rosemary oil and derma roller is only a temporary solution and it takes too long to see results, I want thick hair again now not in 2 years.
Should you avoid derma-rolling if you have scalp psoriasis?
Found this channel yesterday and Probably watched all you videos by now. Thanks for info guys keep up the great work. There is so much misinformation around this topic.
Mark if you are looking for a trusted you tube channel for hair growth videos. You must visit theradome you tube channel.
Question: would you use this after showering or before. Also, would you apply minoxidil after a sesh or before?
I heard giving it 24 hours after microneedling not right after to add minox..but I heard after 12 hours you can add oils or other tbing so im assuming the same with shower
I'm surprised you guys rated this behind laser therapy tbh
Honestly I have spent more than 1000$ in last 6 years on multiple hair regrowth products. And one year back a friend who is working in a clinic suggests me to do microneedling with derma roller and apply nothing to scalp. Followed his advice for 3 months and yes it work actually. The only procedure I find has actually worked for me and yes it regrow back your lost hair even on bald spot.
I am very skeptical on this solution, but if it worked for you, that is great.
what if you use this and some onion juice? would that make things faster, go well?
@@marcusjones1433 Had tried onion juice earlier with derma roller but the results are same. The derma roller had actually peel off the scalp which I think was the main reason of miniature of hair follicle. IF your skin is producing more sebum than I would advise you to not use any oil.
@@bunty19881 thanks for that so do you recommend a start of 0.5mm derma roller, and than see how that works??
@@marcusjones1433 No. 0.5 MM is useless for scalp. Start with atleast 1MM derma roller and use two times in a week. After 1 month you can switch to 1.5 MM. The result will start appear after 1-2 months.
You two Doctors are just awesome...You have been very helpful to me in understanding hair loss and the options available...Thank you very much...!!!
Excellent channel! Glad I came across this!
Glad to hear it.
Can there be a shedding phase when starting this ? I've been doing it for 2 months with a 0.5 roller and my hair is worse than ever....is it possible ive damaged my scalp causing more hair loss?
Need an answer too. Hopefully it’s temporary

Cleaning shouldn’t be a problem, it may sting in the area you’ve used the roller keep that in mind
@@wakster67 That's what I was asking. If it's gonna hurt then it's probably doing something bad in that area.
@@usmantariq7997 nah mate it’s just like getting in the bath after scraping your knee playing football don’t worry
Thank you very much for your informative videos, love ya!
Dr Vukram, thank you very much for the knowledge given here. I have a question for you. I'm using a 0.75mm derma roller since my dermatologist recommended. She asked me to use it every day with minoxidil. but I'm not sure it is ok or not. could you please tell me how often should I use it?
Eveeyday or every week?
Everyday? No no no. Once a week is enough
once a week. And dont use minoxidil after you dermaroll. Wait atleast 24-48 hours for the wounds to heal
@@unknownsource4359 Why not? It will absorb to the scalp which reach to hair follicles and becomes stronger. Isnt right?
Have a few questions if anyone can answer:
1-what’s the best derma roller to use on the head
2-what’s the best size (mm) to use
3-what’s the difference of treatment on using a derma roller on the head for hair loss, and a derma roller for acne on the face
I’m 19 and balding and hair is thinning fast, but I don’t know what derma rollers to get and products with that,
I also want to treat my acne scars with a separate derma roller too,
If anyone can answer any of these it will be appreciated 🙏
Same question
I’m doing minoxidil, derma rolling plus black castor oil treatments and they’ve helped my hair loss so much, from bald patches to 80% regrow. Only need patience to see it through. Question: is it weird that I’ve got high threshold on pain, I can “stab” my scalp with the rollers and won’t blink.
needle size?
Can you please discuss regarding the shedding phase after stopping minoxidil? If whether hair prior to using minoxidil will grow back after the shedding phase is done?
@Vinny Booboo lets say you quit minoxidil after 3 months and due to the shedding of quitting minoxidil you have lost over 30% hair of what you initially had. I'd be nice to know the science behind whether the hair shed will grow back or not.
@@ahmedjavid4888 You lose everything you gained by minoxidil and more, why more? because minoxidil prevents further hairloss from progressing, so stopping will be like you never touched it.
You will lose everything you gained from min (NOT from fin) if you stop min. Don’t do that.
Dont use minoxidil
Im going to a dermatologist and she is hitting the hairline for me with long ass needling. She has done lots of research on this and wanted to try it out with me over the year. I just finished my first session with her. Every 4 weeks ill be getting this done. Hopefully this works or ill be heading to Kenya to get a hair transplant. Since a good doctor there will cost me around 2500 to fill in the temples. Hopefully I do not need to do this and going to the dermatologist for face and hairline shows amazing results. I will not put Minoxidil on my hair until tomorrow night.
Nobody cares.
@@wanik4 You cared enough to respond, so thank you. 🤗
@@Inf7cted did it work ??
@@jemand7488 yeah it did. Middle front hairline was narrow and then filled back out some. I was told this process can take up to a year to see full gains.
@@Inf7cted what is the size of the needles ? Ive been using 1 mm with little to no results
Thank you Doctors for such a nice explanation about derma rolling.
Can you dermaroll over micropigments?
I was coming on here to ask that.ive had smp and I'm using onion juice and nettle root along with multiple vitamins such as saw palmetto and zinc and pumpkin seed oil and I'm noticing tiny new hairs. I'm starting to add minoxidil to it too. If I can use a derma roller to I think I might make a massive reversal.
I'm not sure if i'm doing it hard enough. I never see any pin point bleeding, which some doctors recommend (at least on skin). I do however feel a burning sensation in the areas that I have recently derma rolled, so I assume I did it hard enough? This was with a 1.5mm roller.
Can i use coconut oil after having derma roller on my scalp?
Yes
Dont use coconut oil it clogs everything
Thank you for asking my prior question about derma rolling
is anything below 1mm basically useless for the purposes of hair growth, then? for example 0,75mm
From my research this is true. That's why i just bought a 1.5 mm roller, my old one was 0.5mm.
@@peterpengproductions920 cool, ty. i ordered a 1.5mm one as well. good luck :)
Where did you order your roller from
@@jaxonshaw8441 Amazon, i think it was like 15 euros.
PeterPengProductions don’t you have to wash it with alcohol every day and doesn’t a derma roller last only like 90 uses?
There are people who say Dermarolling isn't good because the hairs grown in patchy areas are only vellus hairs. But cosmetically the difference is major and is the difference between a patchy and shiny head in pictures v.s what could look like a full head of hair. There is a whole industry of tattooing the scalp [micropigmenting] for that very reason. Dermarolling is great.
Wonderful video! thank you so much.
Hello sir (one point of view ) you told that while using dermaroller you might sometimes shedd your hair so, can we use it after cutting the hair like totally, so that it goes deep where we can see the result
It just my sugg. I might be wrong
I am planning to use it about 1 mm to 0.5 mm
Expecting your reply
Thankyou
Can you do a video on the efficacy of topical finasteride + minoxidil?
Patrick Del Valle:If I was you I would avoid such chemicals. Stick to scalp massage, inversion therapy and derma rolling/stamping.
@Neck Man if u want to suffer side effects
@Neck Man If you want to permanently lose your ability to get it up.
Ive been using topical fin + minox and have had 0 sides.. will be 3 mths at end of february.. no regrowth as of yet (that im aware of) but it did stop hair from falling out at around month two. Supposedly regrowth starts around 3-6 months so hoping i see something in the next few mths

Thanks for the great info! This is exactly what i was searching for. I had a FUE hair transplant more than a year ago but my crown area is still very bold. Therefore I have decided to try minoxidil and derma roller and to record the results on my channel. Hopefully it will work 🙏. Finger crossed!

Hi there, any updates on your progress?
8:30 how do I know if my shaft is less than 50% diameter? I have little fine baby hairs will it work still?
If 3mg a week is enough for fineseride what’s the dose a week that’s enough for dutesteride?
It comes in a 0.5mg capsule. You can take it daily if required. But if I am using it a s single therapy then I usually start people on it 3 times per week as well.
Can using a derma roller (1.5 mm or 1.0 mm on thinning areas and areas with miniaturized hair) cause scarring that might interfere with an FUE (or FUT) transplant? Great show by the way, very informative. Thank you for providing it.
If it's too long, or you use it for too long in one go, or too much, then it can cause scarring, dont over do it
