What happened after I stopped using MINOXIDIL!
I’m 18 and I’ve got a sideburn I can see a follicle of hair next to my cheek, should I do any of these tips or should I wait until I hit around 21 if I don’t see progress? Would it affect my beard growth in a negative way if I do end up using these tips?

@@ashutoshyadav2032 At first twice - one in the morning and one 4 hours before going to bed, but when I started experiencing flaky skin and most importantly chest pain had to cut it down to once a day and it all went away. Still got some great results! Just keep an eye on your health

Took me 2-3 years to REALLY see results, but I stayed consistent and now have a full & thick beard. For those just starting, don’t expect results to happen super quick. For some of us it takes time, but it’ll pay off if you are consistent.

@Larry stepney use the foam, the liquid may cause those bad side effects because there’s alcohol included in it. The foam doesn’t have alcohol in it and gives little to no side effects at all
@Larry stepney exactly that’s why the foam doesn’t give u any heart palpitations because it had no alcohol in it. The liquid version has alcohol which can lead to heart palpations. So LIQUID BAD, FOAM GOOD, basically 💯
@Larry stepney Bro, they both have risk of heart palpations. It's not the alcohol that causes it. The alcohol just dries out your skin, which is why foam is recommended. But use at your own risk, each person gets different results. I have a family history of heart disease, so I stay away.

I’m not gonna lie to you bro. This is the top minoxidil video on RUclips for black men. I watch this video every day whilst on my journey to motivate me. I know our results aren’t linear but we literally started off the same with just the peach fuzz on the chin, I’m getting similar results in similar time frames to you. It’s definitely helping me keep disciplined in my journey, I know I would of quit a while ago if this wasn’t around. How’s it going?
Just stay patient all my minoxidil guys, you just have to be consistent and believe me. You are going to see results when you had your first 4 weeks on minoxidil. I just started and now on week 5, starting to see velus hair. You are going to experience side effects but believe me, it is not that bad. Had mine from the first week until the third week of the month but eventually, all the side effects will go away. The first side effect might cause your skin to feel kinda itchy, your heartbeat going fast and chest pain but it is not like dying hahaha. After all of that shits, I only had very very dry skin right now but none of those side effects I had experienced before. Keep on moisturising your face with some black castor or jojoba oil with peppermint to prevent dry skin. Also, derma rolling might help in weak areas too. If you are wondering why you are still not gaining, do not worry cause this thing takes time and once you feel like there is something on your face like little hair growing out, you are going to be surprised by the growth on your face when you look at the mirror. @@Alexander-fv2sm Hey man, terminal hairs are those you can see on your moustache, chin hair, eyebrows, and head. Terminal hairs are strong due to their larger roots strength. You can’t easily pull them off to make it simple. Most men out there stop using minoxidil after a year and it depends on the genetics whether when can you achieve the terminal hairs meaning stronger hair roots. Maybe you can stop using minoxidil after you are satisfied with the results. Better make sure that your hair is terminal to avoid vellus hairs falling off. About the heartbeats, it's not like you can't do your day-to-day activities, the side effects might cause discomfort. I experienced fast heartbeats only in the first 2 weeks and when applying the minoxidil on. Just stay relaxed brother. Once you don't feel any discomfort due to the side effects. I think you should be good to go man. Just avoid vigorous exercises for the first 2-3 weeks. I hope this helps and cheer!

Before this i could only grow a goatee, (not even a hint of cheek-hair) now it's starting to look like it'll turn into something full in a few months or so! Got vellus hair coming all over the place, along with strong thick hairs here and there!
I would also like to add that i am Derma-rolling every 3-4'th day (1mm)

Surely after derma rolling you want to apply the minox before it heals, I've just started and apply minox 20 mins after derma rolling twice a week. Good video!
Hey brother, I started on February 1st and now week 7 looks amazing. From here through May 1st is going to look great. But I’ll keep it up until a year and so I can go back to Puerto Rico to see my family and they can see me with full beard 😎maybe meet new girls (since I couldn’t grow a full beard)

@@MaskedTechy looks good, my genetic is slow. Make sure to apply in the desired areas but yes it looks just how I want it and stay disciplined with your routine. Buy beard was/softner and in time apply beard oil. And don’t touch it during No Shave NOVEMBER and you’ll see a big difference when everything grows. My strong side used to be the right, then it changed to the left. My left side is complet but my right side needs work

Great bro. You’ll have a nice beard it’s decent but considering it’s been a years since you’ve made this clip you’ve probably got a much developed beard by now. My on advice to you is to apply some monoxidi on the top half of your connectors just so your beard looks even more full

Hey Evan~Before you apply minoxidil a 2nd time 12 hours later, do you normally wash your face off with just water or do you use some sort of exfoliating scrub/wash before doing so? Thanks for taking the time to share your progress and really glad to see the solid gains!
Sorry for super late reply. A nice wash will be good enough. I didn't really exfoliate. But I'm sure it wont matter if that's part of your routine.
I was thinking the same thing is there a way you can let us know how you do your daily routine meaning you at menoxido in the morning and then what happens at what time do you wash what else do you do before your 2nd application of monoxidal and so on

@@EvanYearwood bro nice video but the best thing u should do with your beard is let it grow out for like 3 months and letting your beard grow out will allow your beard to grow fuller cause I was on minoxidil in the past for a nice chin strap and now a few years later I’m on minoxidil again so I can grow out my patchy cheeks so I can have a few beard and while I’m on minoxidil I let my beard grow for 3 months then I cut it down to a 2 guard with my trimmers

You don't need density. Let it grow in length and you'll see that you may have plenty of coverage. I'm not sure how fast your beard grows, but you should grow it at least until you get about an inch of hair length and then make a judgement call.

With derma rolling and monoxidil I saw results, I'm on week 1. However they wouldn't be noticable to anyone else. However I took before and after photos every 3 days so far and I can see a difference. I know I won't see the real gains until about a month in, and I expect after 3 months I'll have a beard.

@TheIcemanBergkamp10 No. I’m 22 and still people assume I’m 18-19 years old. If anything it’d have the opposite effect allowing blood and nutrients to reach your skin. I’ve been at it for 3 months now and made substantial results. Don’t give yourself reasons to hesitate, just buy some and see how you react to it.
It will dry your skin, buy some lip balm and some moisturizer or oil to help with that.

I derma roll and minoxidil the same day it doesn’t harm you
After 1 hour the liquid is already dry on my face, after that my skin starts to dry out enormously, is it good to make my skin soft after 1 hour by smearing jamaican black caster oil on it? With the foam, my skin is already dry after 10 minutes, can I also start after 10 minutes with smearing the oil over it?

I’m never really grown it out, I’m on about day 115 now and I’ve only kind of grown it out about 2 weeks which was enough time to show sideburns. I shave everyday And I’m planning on waiting closer to month 6 to start going it out. Could be a complete flop

Evan, did you wash off your face after 4hrs on minoxodil and then aplying JBCO or you put JBCO on dry minox on your face ?
After doing it so long I put the JBCO right after I place the minoxidil. It's fine either way. As long as your beard gets all of the nutrients. DEFINITELY right after derma rolling.

But keep in mind the oil isn’t as important as the Derma Roller and The Minoxidil. As long as your constantly using those two you’ll still get the result!
