There has never been a more fitting song in a multiplayer setting to play when one of you gamer mates passes away. May fair winds guide our departed friends. Laughing just isn't as full and hearty without them.
A pirate plays the song of stitcher's sorrow on gold-trimmed Hurdy-Gurdy, a sad, yet content smile on his face as he sits cross-legged in the burning brig of his ship. Fire bombs break across the masts, all that is heard aside from breaking of the bombs.....The flames licking of the wood, the cackles of traitorous friends.... and the final play of a happy sailor.
I play this song when im at the end of my adventures, and im playing this on the top of the mountain where the sunset sets, and i start playing it with my crew. It felt like it was the end 😢
"You know... What matters the most is not the treasure. It is the friends that we makes on the way." Me, in an outpost, after loosing the loot of a 3h play session.
I love playing this at the outpost when ever I am done solo slooping and about to log out. I usualy play it while looking at my ship and all the battledamage it recived, thinking about all the AI and other players I defeated for treasure and for my own protection. No other game (except for maybe Metro Exodus) ever gave me that feeling of satisfaction just before quitting.
I told a repear gally that sunk me i wanted to play a single song as they left me. They allowed and next thing I knew an hour later they had sent me the clip of them sailing away slowly as what was left of me ship ducked below the ocean surface with me in it, playing me last tune. Felt like I was in a movie. God I love this community.
I think this perfectly captures the game. Such adventure an excitement. only to be ruined by a 4 person crew that just wants to sink your ship and make you suffer. Nothing aboard. just the open sea, the wind, and music. Then explosions all around. no hope for survival. No mercy for allowing you to even go down with the ship.
This song regardless of instrument is the anthem of when you’re logging off and decide to give your ship a Viking funeral before you go offline. And watch it get engulfed in flames before being swallowed by the sea.
The Devils Roar A land left unexplored. . . The Devils Roar The omen they ignored. . . And those who land Upon her shores Best write to those Who they adore. . . Just ask The souls who came before. . . Those poor forgotten sailors. . .
Stitcher's sorrow cuts deep, Through deepest pain of lonely sailors whose fate lies on the waves while their only hope of light, is not sun but candle light
This alone made me want a hurdy gurdy, and holy cow they are expensive to buy. Perhaps I could build one? Aye, then it would make a more genuine sound.
The problem with SOT is they make it sound like you can change the note of the drone/bass. While playing, the drone note stays constant on a Hurdy Gurdy.
I have a go at making lyrics for this. Short times bring gold, or so at least we’ve been told. Quick winds, low waves, brings upon a new day. The smell of salt, our tiny boat, brings fortune to our small crew today. Short times bring upon our pay, we hope short times will stay. We are here, sailing through the years not knowing where, the winds will lead. But we stay upon our ship, keep on sailing till we are dead. Short times come and go, when they leave, well we don’t know.
blasts of the fires of hell itself claim this land it was almost impossible to land your self here so I write this letter to tell you now members of the wilds pirates stay away please listen to my sorrow signed stitcher Jim
The Devil's Roar, a land left unexplored The Devil's Roar, the omen the ignored And those who land, upon her shore Best write to those, who they adore Just ask, the souls who came before Those poor, forgotten sailors The roaring flame, from the waves it was torn. The roaring flame, waiting now to be reborn. And those poor souls, who did conspire, to seal away, his boundless fire, shall find themselves, upon the pyre, while all the world is burning.
My crew mates once locked me in the brig of our vessel and lit it on fire then jumped into the water getting onto land watching the ship burn and eventually getting sunk... and during that time I played this song on my gurdy
I play this as I watch my ship burn, while sitting cross legged on the dock of the outpost. I shed a tear for the the comrades I lost, and the ones who I killed. Alas, the life of a pirate is the only life for me.

I play this song every time before I leave the game, when I do the Viking funeral at my ship 😢
We all have those moments. The ships that served us gracefully rest beneath the ocean.
I do the same thing. Only after I burn it, I set the sails to a very slow speed, and then I get off the ship on time to watch it burn in the distance
100% best song and never left without playing the song and watching the great ship that took us on voyages burn down as it go at full speed😊
I do the same thing 😊😢

This is the reason why I got myself a hurdy-gurdy.

@@elusion8096 bro what how did you know that
There is a good reason why the Stitcher's Sorrow is one of the only 4 songs that I love to play in this game...
literally such a beautiful song i find myself coming back to it and I haven't played SOT in months
Guys thank you so much for 50 subscribers and 10,000 views!!!
@TanksAlot Probably never going to happen XD

Give it a shot. I think it would be great!
@@invertedsoul8600 I have built one. I just need to put the right rosin on and cotton the strings and it's gonna sound great :)

Honestly, you should have as many subscribers as you have views.
Lol, I am not active anymore since nobody takes interest in my latest videos.

@@Cartel_boss This was posted months ago you see.
@@invertedsoul8600 welp, it’s still really good.

That song could fit in The Witcher 3 :D
Literally what I was thinking the first time I heard this song!!
@@celtic9558 Yeah i thought the same!
I thinked about the same thing
Definitely in Velen
Honestly I feel like this would go well with the burning ship ceremony in Witcher 3.
Sounds like the halo 3 odst trailer song
Yeah!
You mean „The Politics & the Life by Daniel Pemberton“?

This sounds like a song from For Honor.
