I have made this recipe a few times and I just want to say thank you. This time I made it with tortellini‘s from Costco. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into creating your recipes it makes my life easier because without the Insta pot I would be a terrible cook. I don’t know why I can bake anything from scratch but if I try to cook on the stove it never turns out well.
I tried this but used pasta sauce and sauced onions mushrooms celery and garlic with the meat on the bottom and it wouldn’t work because it kept saying burnt food so I put it on keep warm for like 30 minutes and it cooked it! Came out great even tho the mishaps!
Thank you. I made this with vegan mince, kale and mushrooms. I topped with homemade tomato sauce and vegan cheese. I also added a sprinkle of nutritional yeast for cheesy flavour in between the layers.
Thank you for the video, I have a question though, all the other pressure cooker instant pot recipes out there for lasagna have the pressure cook time set at ~20 ish minutes, why so short on yours? Is this because you are not using any kind of springform pan to pressure cook it in? What would happen if one were to try your no-springform pan recipe at a pressure cook time of day 25 minutes?
After trying this twice and twice getting the “food burn” warning on my device I ordered a springform device. One other comment: don’t just throw in cheddar or “any soft cheese” as suggested. Use mozzarella Parmesan and ricotta.
Hi SAnDee, thank you 🙏 we are family of 4 and my husband and older son eat a lot, usually not much leftovers left:) I would say 4-6 depends on your adults eating abilities lol 😂
I do not use ricotta or cottage cheese, nor add eggs. Dairy doesn’t cook well in a pressure cooker plus I don’t miss it in lasagna. And eggs are not necessary since no cottage cheese. But you can try if you want to experiment. I saw others do it. Not sure how it turns out.
Okay, iFoodreal, I actually tried this. It is AMAZING! It blended deliciously. I was a little uncertain about the spinach/kale, but it turned out wonderfully! Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will definitely be making it again!
Hi, first of all, thank you for your amazing recipes!!! I have a question about the firts layer. Could be possible remove all the turkey from the pot and put firtly the lasagna layers, the water and then the turkey or this way wouldn't work properly?? The idea is having the lasagna layers at the bottom to provide more stability to the dish. Thanks in advanced and sorry for my English!😅
After you take out some of your meat put a 1/2 cup of liquid water, wine, or broth and scrape off any brown bits on the bottom of your pot to deglaze it. Then follow the recipe. Also, turn off the sauté function after you’ve browned the meat. It’s really hot and can burn easily if you leave it on while assembling the rest of your ingredients.
I AM WITH YOU ON RECOTTA, CAN'T STAND IT, ANYTIME A PRECIPE CALLS FOR IT, I USE COTTAGE CHEESE, INSTEAD. A SUGGESTION, IF YOU LINE THE POT WITH HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM FOIL, AND COVER THE TOP AND COOK AS A PACKAGE, NO NEED FOR OTHER PANS, AND YOU CAN LIFT THE WHOLE THING OUT, AS ONE PIECE. AND YOU CAN USE THE COTTAGE CHEESE AS WELL. THANKS!
Thanks for the info as my springform pan broke the las time I made lasagna. I bet I can still set it on my silicone sling to lift out easily too. I bought everything to make the stuff and then realized I trashed the pan the last time!
HOLY COW you look just like a television character but I just can't put my finger on who. She was not nice she was kind of evil and devious. lol obviously nothing like your personality you seem super nice!! I can't wait to make this ! My mother just gave me an instant pot and I used it for the first time yesterday. I made coconut mushroom shrimp soup. It was so good. This is going to be my next thing I make. I can't wait !!!
Haha don't we all remind someone else?! I thought it's only me. I find every 2nd person reminds me someone lol. Hope you enjoy it. Please let me know.:)

I like to use Ricotta cheese, will this work in the layers? I heard you say that it doesnt cook well in the instapot? Please advise

So many other delicious cheeses to choose from! Just don’t cook the cheese in your instant pot because it doesn’t cook to well.
Great idea thanks 👍😊

Looks very good but I like many others prefer beef and ricotta cheese {traditional Italian} Lasagna.
You can use beef and add ricotta with egg I think.
Looks tasty
Taste good too:)
