I have had my instant pot for over two years I have two and I love them If I’m looking for some recipes I go to 6 Sister’s I can’t even tell you how many recipes I’ve made Once you start using it you’ll use it every day it will become you’re number one appliance❤😊
It’s a tie for me I have some things I do in my IP and some things I do in my Crockpot!! I use both quite a bit!! Makes life simple, and I’m definitely simple😂
Just completed a full spaghetti dinner and followed these instructions and it came out better than boiling the pasta like I have been for over 40yrs. 😊
I have been making spaghetti in the instant pot for a couple of years and I am glad to see I am not the only one. It skips the time it takes to bring a big pot of water on the stove for the spaghetti and it is truly a 1 pot meal. It's only my husband and me at home, so I do about 12 oz lean ground beef that I saute with a chopped onion. Then I add 1 c water to scrape the bottom of the pot, 8 oz noodles, 24 oz pasta sauce, one more cup of water, and cook for 8 min. Works great! No heating up the kitchen boiling a big pot of water either.
i love cooking spaghetti in mine. another thing I do is cube up my potatoes and place them in the bottom with water. Then I place the stand inside and place eggs on top of that. I cook for about five minutes with 5 minutes quick release, and then remove and drain. Put the eggs in ice water and peel them and place all in the fridge to get cold and then make potato salad.
I make hard boil eggs in mine! So easy and they peel prefect every time! Put your eggs on it doesn’t matter how many you do, Then add a cup of cold water cook for 5 minutes and it slow release for 5 minutes, then quick release and pop them in a ice bath for 5 minutes! Boom easy Hard Boiled eggs!! I promise you will be amazed♥️♥️ Love your channel and your videos💕
5/5/5 is my go-to for hard boiled eggs because it is impervious to outside influences. I do keep them in the ice bath for 10 minutes before wiping down and putting them in the refrigerator, though. I found the eggs hadn’t completely cooled after 5. 😊
Just made the spaghetti and, I have to say that my daughter, who loves spaghetti, was very skeptical. But after we did it exactly like you instructed, it turned out so good and my daughter loved it. One pot spaghetti…so easy after working all day. Thank you for this great recipe! You’ve definitely changed the way we do spaghetti!
I just made your spaghetti following your directions and it came out perfect. I added some mushrooms to my spaghetti and loved it. It only took me about 25 minutes from start to finish. Loved it and thank you.
I do Asian stir fries with pasta in 12-15 minutes. I will see how quickly I can make spaghetti dish in pressure cooker. I think building pressure takes relatively long time. Although, these one pot dishes require less work, no stirring, etc.
I just found an instapot at the thrift store for $12…..thanks for ur video. My husband loves spaghetti. Ima make some this week and under 30 mins is so clutch for me. Thanks again
Thanks to my instant pot ultra mini and IP air fryer, haven’t needed to use oven at all during this heat wave. We have just 1 window air conditioner & usually have takeout, cook outside, or just eat cold food during hot weather. This has been amazing!
My favorite thing is beef stroganoff With noodles. My quick meal for the week is a pork roast. I will add noodles when it is done. That gives me a side dish. They taste wonderful as they absorb the broth from the roast
I made Cabbage Soup in my New Instant Pot last night It was my 1st time using an Instant pot and I was a bit nervous about it I was so shocked at the short time it took to cook it to Perfection 🎉🎉🎉 I watched tons of RUclips Instant Pot videos before buying mine Every1 had such Great Tips & Recipes to share I Thank You so much for sharing all of yours with us We greatly Appreciate everything that you do to make our lives a little easier Stay Blessed 🙂
I absolutely love your recipes. Now living in Sweden I can’t find exact same seasoning but I use things I can find here. My family loves everything I make. So fast and easy. I work 9 hours every day and still have time to cook thanks to your tips. ❤
That is the best thing about the Instant Pot. You can cook things all day in twenty minutes. I've been using pressure cookers for more than 50 years but the Instant Pot is my all-time favorite.
I’ve just found my wife’s Instant Pot so watching this was interesting but I’m a Brit and I’m gonna come back for the accent! I could listen to that voice awl dayyy. 😊 Great video too, thank y’all)
Thank you for the easy recipes. I just got mine for a Christmas present. Love your accent! Listening to you was like being with being with our beautiful aunt Sara back in Tennessee.
I use my Instant Pot almost every day. It is so great. I love it. I do prep chicken and use it for multiple things. Never thought of doing the spagetti this way I will try it. Thanks for sharing.❤
I just made the spaghetti and meat sauce. Turned out beautifully. Husband was very impressed with the flavor I was impressed by the easy clean up. This will be a part of meal rotation from now on. Making the baked potatoes later in the week.
Now thats a nice easy video that you can actually see and follow . Much better than the other video from Tasty channel that swiftly go through 5 receipes without saying a word but full of loud music all over. Thank you very much
I do penne or rigatoni instead of spaghetti. I always fill the water to just barely below the level of the dry pasta. I cook for just 5 minutes, with a quick release. It's always come out just perfect that way. Three cups of water seems a little too soupy. You can serve it as is, top it with parmesan, or mix in some ricotta for a lasagna-like flavor.
You've inspired me to use my Instant Pot for more then just making Corned Beef. Will definitely be trying the Spaghetti and Jacket potato. Cheers from the U.K.
The baked potatos were a shock to me. I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of it. Thanks for the tip. I was literally cooking spaghetti in my Insta Pot while watching this, just to make sure I didn't screw it up. For my first time doing it, I nailed it. I did sausage though instead of ground beef. Be careful with sausage. Some of them, the skin falls off and the meat falls apart. Gotta get the good stuff. J.C. Potter Hot Links work great. Just cut them into thick slices. I use the rice setting on most stuff. It works fine; even on Frozen Chicken, but make sure to let it auto vent for a good while.
Thank you for this video. I did get an instant pot for Christmas and I am intimidated by it. I grew up with the scarier pressure cookers. This video has helped to make it less intimidating.
I must be living under a rock, this is the very first video I’ve seen about an instant pot. Lol. ;) Pretty cool, Jen! Looks like you have lot of options when using it. Thx for sharing, yum! Xoxo ❤
Thank you. We had one for 2 years and never used it. Brought it out to do Corn beef for St Patricks days. This video had motivated me to use the Insta Pot more. Thank you.
Thank you. I have had an instant pot for years and have only used it a couple of times. I will get it out and try these recipes. Thanks so much for sharing. God bless all!
BEST spaghetti ever. Everyone had seconds and there was nothing left!! I sure hope you do more of these videos. Trying the other suggestions next. TFS Hugs from California * L
Thank you for these recipes. I have always cooked for a large family but now we are down to 3 adults so I purchased the 3 qt IP. Watching videos to add to my playlist and this video made it to that list!😊
Kay, I hope by now you are using your Instant Pot! I love mine…I have two a 3qt and a 6 qt; I use both! But don’t feel alone in your fear of using one…I gave three different ones away because I was using it wrong so I watched a lot of RUclips videos and finally I gave myself a good talking to because I figured if hundreds of people love them and use them, then so could I …tonight I’m making a beef roast for dinner but more importantly, sandwiches the next few days! It makes wonderful rice, Cornish Game Hens, black beans etc…
I’m looking to making these recipes. Chicken for my husband. I am a vegetarian so I’ll make the spaghetti with Impossible meat and add some onion. Thank you. My Instant Pot sat in the cabinet for 3 years 😊
I love cooking macaroni and cheese, chicken, turkey breasts, lobster tails, and pot roast in my IP. I have not attempted spaghetti or baked potatoes but will give them a try thanks to your video.
I LOVE my instant pot!!!! I use it a lot!!! My favorite food to make in it is a Lasagna soup. I got the recipe from Pinterest. I make it all the time. I have made chicken in it, and rice, and spaghetti. It's so easy!!! Especially when you can throw everything in it at once!!!! One pot clean-up is the best!!!! Thanks, Jen!!!!
@Jini Reddy I'm so sorry. I posted it. Don't see it. Google 365 days of slow cooking (its instant pot too) and the name of the soup is crazy easy soup. 😜
my favorite thing to make in the Instant Pot is beef stew. Couple tablespoons of olive oil, brown the stew meat along with a chopped onion . While the meat is cooking, dice about a pound and a half of red potatoes and a pound of carrots -- I'm lazy so I like a pound package of baby carrots and I cut each one in half, and add diced, bell pepper, and about three diced celery stalks. After the meat is done, cook the vegetables for about eight minutes. Thicken the gravy and eat with iced tea.
So glad to see you on here again, missed you over the holiday time!! I will have to say crockpot, only because I don’t have an instant pot! Not sure I want one because I am older now and I really don’t want more stuff sitting on the cupboard! But the younger ones in my family love theirs!!
Sorta reminded me of eating spaghettios lol... That blended in, sitting in a can for months experience. I liked it. I would suggest adding spice as the water diluted spaghetti sauce gets a little bland in my opinion. I like spice. As suggested by my Italian buddy's grandma, I add spice and olive oil to otherwise plain spaghetti sauce / Sugo. For myself and guests, I add Mccormick Italian seasoning, garlic powder, sugar and olive oil. When it's just me I'm cooking for or if guests like extra heat, I add Crushed Red Pepper! Good stuff
I do love my instant pot I have never made spaghetti in it but I definitely will try that but the chicken works perfect every time and taste so yummy and you can make it so many different ways. Thanks for sharing it and I’m glad you love yours.❤️❤️
Instant pot not so much but I love my crockpots. Thank you for sharing have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. I think I can try the spaghetti and potatoes in the instant pot. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏
I love doing soft to hard boiled eggs. Only takes 2 min on high pressure for soft or three for hard. Quick release and put them in ice water for about 5 min. Shells practically fall off when cracked. Then you have easy deviled eggs. Chili Verde is great. Ham hock and beans with dry beans is amazing. 3-4x water as beans, hock, onion, bay leaf. Takes about 45-50 min on high pressure.
Thank you! I have been intimated with mine as well. I have cooked a roast which my hubby said was the most tender roast he had ever ate. And this week I did pinto beans I was shocked how quick and good. Looking forward to more ideas. I definitely love my crockpot and the air fryer is my go to, don't know how I lived without this baby. Thanks again Looking forward to using my instant pot with you.
I love cooking spaghetti, chili, any pasta-for any recipe. It cooks pasta in 4mins! You’ll love it and I’m so glad you got one! Can’t wait to see your recipes :)
Wow, I wanted an Instant Pot but didn't really know what you could cook in them or if I'd use it much. Your chicken breasts cooking so fast has me sold! I'll be getting one tomorrow :)
I use my instant pot all the time. It makes the best hardboiled eggs. I love making baked potatoes and I make egg bites for breakfast. It is my go to in the kitchen now.
Hi there. My favorite thing to cook in the instant pot is rice. Then I cook for 8 meals. It is thr same time to cook less. When is cooked down, I put 1 cup cooked rice in a zip lock bag and freeze is. Kind regards Rustenburg South Africa
Hello,I Judy Bought instant pot.at a yard sale..it works great! But yes there is a but. Some one at one time had pot Puree in it.I have cleaned and soaked . It inspired me to.buy one new. And I will follow your Spaghetti recipe. I plan to make yogurt I think.it sure is a learning curve for me.
I bought my daughter an Instant Pot , she , like you , was a little nervous. She loves it now and tries many things, but one thing it is great for is corn on the cob.
I never used an instapot. Still have my handy dandy crockpot that my grandmother bought me for my hope chest when I left home, ie A Long Time!😁😉 Have fun with your new appliance. Everything looked yummy! 😊
Between my instant pot and air fryer, rarely use my stove, I live alone my 3qt is my Fav , I do have a 6 qt for soups and chili, then freeze, when i decide to no cooking day.
I loved stuffed green peppers, Italian sausages with peppers and cheese, and vegetable beef soup in the Instant pot. The first two are my own recipes. The veg beef soup recipe is from a pinch of healthy. And, I add chopped cabbage to that recipe.
I have a Farberware pressure cooker, and I love making baked potatoes in it. I've been looking for directions on making spaghetti so I'm gonna try your way. Thank you for sharing❤
We use our Instant Pot WAY more than our slow cooker! We proof bread dough in it on the yogurt setting, make yogurt, cook rice, make bone broth, hard "boil" eggs (they are the easiest to peel ever, as long as I don't fridge them in the shell first, but unshell them as soon as they cool in an ice bath) cook unsoaked beans and other legumes, make dulce de leche, and make a variety of soups and stews in it. Oh, and seitan (mock meat from wheat gluten) occasionally. I've even used it for making congee (a rice porridge) out of unground rice, and it worked fine. Many things I might do in the oven, like Swiss steak or casseroles could be done in the slow cooker better than in the Instant Pot, though. Pressure cookers don't evaporate, nor give that nice browning. :) Thanks for the video, may God bless you and your family!
I haven't pulled my instapot out either. I constantly use my pressure cooker to tenderize and cook tougher meet. Now, I'll get it out to try. Thanks for the recipes. I only do my baked potatoes in the air fryer as we like the crispy crust. Just rub with olive oil and cover with sea salt and yummy!
Just got the PC instant pot. So my answer would lean crockpot. 55 years ago my mother had a pressure cooker. So I've been missing a instant/pressure pot for over 50 years. I used to make a Swiss steak way back when I was in high school. I'm looking forward to using my new kitchen gadget! 🎉😊
Which do you use more? Your Instant Pot or your Crockpot??
Crockpot
I have had my instant pot for over two years I have two and I love them
If I’m looking for some recipes I go to 6 Sister’s
I can’t even tell you how many recipes I’ve made
Once you start using it you’ll use it every day it will become you’re number one appliance❤😊
I got rid of my crock pot and rice cooker. I use it to boil eggs so don’t need an egg cooker. I love making yogurt it mine so no yogurt maker.
It’s a tie for me I have some things I do in my IP and some things I do in my Crockpot!! I use both quite a bit!! Makes life simple, and I’m definitely simple😂
Crock pot
Just completed a full spaghetti dinner and followed these instructions and it came out better than boiling the pasta like I have been for over 40yrs. 😊
it is similar to pasta risottata. it is a classic technique in italy

Instapot is the greatest invention since the frying Pan
I absolutely agree!
You could in theory do all this with a regular pressure cooker on a stove, and those have been common since the 50s.
i love cooking spaghetti in mine. another thing I do is cube up my potatoes and place them in the bottom with water. Then I place the stand inside and place eggs on top of that. I make homemade bread multiple times a week and I use the yogurt setting to raise my dough! It takes half the time or less!
I just found an instapot at the thrift store for $12…..thanks for ur video. My husband loves spaghetti. Ima make some this week and under 30 mins is so clutch for me. Thanks again
My favorite thing to cook in the Instant Pot is soup! It always comes out fab!😋😋😋

@PiLLO360 Which ones would you like? Bone broth in the Instant Pot only takes 2 hours. One of my faves!
Thanks to my instant pot ultra mini and IP air fryer, haven’t needed to use oven at all during this heat wave.
We have just 1 window air conditioner & usually have takeout, cook outside, or just eat cold food during hot weather. This has been amazing!
I find myself using the stovetop or oven less and less. Air fryer and Insta pot handle so many things!

@@donnabolt5847 thank you 🤗. Lotsa love
Love my Instant Pot! Chicken is great in it! One of my favotite things to make is red beans and sausage, you don't even have to soak the beans.
I made Instant Pot spaghetti this weekend.
One of my favorites to make in the Instant Pot and a true one pot meal.
my favorite thing to make in the Instant Pot is beef stew. So glad to see you on here again, missed you over the holiday time!! I will have to say crockpot, only because I don’t have an instant pot! Not sure I want one because I am older now and I really don’t want more stuff sitting on the cupboard! But the younger ones in my family love theirs!!
Love the spaghetti I use about half teaspoon of maple syrup on top before covering yummy 😊
Good stuff

Chili Verde is great.
Ham hock and beans with dry beans is amazing. 3-4x water as beans, hock, onion, bay leaf. Takes about 45-50 min on high pressure.
Jen
I do not have an instant pot but I still like seeing how your recipes turn out. Good job .
You are a hero among commenters
I add 1 can of diced tomatoes on top, and also sauté onions garlic and mushroom with the meat.
I use my instant pot all the time. It makes the best hardboiled eggs. I love making baked potatoes and I make egg bites for breakfast. It is my go to in the kitchen now.
Egg bites? Do tell
Rice is one of our favorite things we cook, whether it's plain rice or the boxed Rice-a-Roni! It's quick and easy!
Obsessed with your accent! Thanks for the tips, I’ll have to try the instant pot spaghetti.
Great info on the steam release thank you

Thanks for helping to lessen the intimidation factor around usingvthe IP!
Hope you enjoy!
We love cooking taco soup, Swedish meatballs, and just today I found a recipe for refried beans that I'm looking forward to making soon.
Recommend pouring the broth/water over the chicken breasts before seasoning. That helps the seasoning to stay on the meat during cooking.
Oh I love this!!! I have an instant pot, was very scared to use it!! I will have to try... that spaghetti looks so yummy!!!👍😊
I get it!! But it’s really not scary!
Thanks
I have always been afraid of an instant pot too! Maybe if I see your recipes more, I will be inspired to get one too.
Thanks So Much For The Ideas. Inspired Me To Use Mine.
Love your voice! I was skeptical at first, but now I love this thing. Thanks for info.
Thank you for this. I have an Insta pot and was looking for recipes, especially the one-pot spaghetti. Keep them cooking and coming
I love my instant pot. Try ribs in the IP, after they're done put them under the broiler. Unreal! Great video.
Sounds great!
Trying spaghetti this very minute! Thanks!
I used to do them in the air fryer a lot too!!
Yummy .. Tanks .. 🙂👍🥂
great recipe ideas just bought an instant pot looking forward to using it
Love your southern accent 💕
Sounds tasty thanks. I will try the spaghetti recipe with Banza penne, or rigatoni .
I love my Instantpot! I have made dozens of cheesecakes in it, I love it for making soups and ribs are amazing!
Looking yummy food my friend
I am getting a Insta Pot for Christmas from my son and daughter in law...can't wait !!
its the best, you are gonna use it for a lot. you can do so much in these things
It's a lot of fun!
I love Mac & Cheese made in the Instant Pot! I use Ree Drummond's recipe for it. I enjoy your channel!
I love mine! Such a time saver. I am looking forward to more of these recipes Jennifer!
Thanks Wendy! I’m excited to try lots more things!
I like the seal and vent switch on that instant pot, much easier to see. Which version is that?
