Get a dollar tree mop handle attach to your grout brush with duck tape and voila! no back pain

Caution!! This ruined the finish on the hardware in our tub! Also it's super noxious. This seems like a good idea but I would not recommend doing this! Also just read on the back of the Lysol bottle that it is not to be used in tubs or anywhere other than toilet bowls. Really wish I had not done this. Yikes.
I tried this today 07/11/2021. I have to tell you after this trial, I wont be using anything else. Our shower looks VERY clean. Ty for the video!!

I'll be doing this. I have a lot of motivation to make this work, as we just got a (high) quote on putting in a new shower. I think it is unnecessary, but I need to make it look good enough for my wife to think so, too, and that will be a challenge. Thank you for your video and tips here.

Hi really nice video. I want to try this but wondering if this would maintain the original color of my grout or instead make that more white? My current grout is borderline grey/beige mix (antique white) so want to retain and just get some of the black spots out. Thanks

Hi! Thank you for the video.
To save your back you should have used a deck brush to scrub with. They're sold at Home Depot or Lowe's. It's like the hand brush you get down on your hands and knees to scrub the floor with, but it's on a long handle like a mop or broom are. Kind of like a push broom but only about 6 inches, (not 2 feet). It's so much easier to use. Great for scrubbing tile floors too, for grout lines and stubborn stains.
There's also a blue Clorox tub scrubber pad on an extendable stick; sold at Target with the holes to use a microfiber cloth covered over it as well. It's in with the bathroom cleaning supplies, near toilet brushes. (*The one at Walmart doesn't have the holes on top for it to work double duty.)

So My Parents Shower needs a major cleaning they are in there mid 80's so I need to watch what I use and used liquid bleach but like you said doesn't cut it , so this video educated me on using the gel which now makes sense and let it sit !!! So Thank you for the 411

How does the grout hold up after bleaching? My friend says to use grout sealer afterwards or the grout will stain even faster the next time. Is this your experience? Please answer! Thank you.

does this only work on white walls since its bleach? I have a dark tile in my shower and wanted to try and use this but with my power scrubbers on my drill? what do you think?
For mould, the HG mould spray it does wonders. It removes all the black mould after few hours. Try that next time.

I tried to do this with Lysol toilet bowl cleaner before I realized it had hydrochloric acid in it. It didn’t clean shit!!! Just for reference. It also ruined the finish on the metal knobs and faucet in the shower! 😱😱😱
I’m so sorry to hear that Michelle such a bummer that it didn’t work and I’m sorry to hear that it damaged the faucet. Wish you luck on trying something else. Is the caulking over other caulking? Our new house is kind of a fixer upper and I tried everything to clean the caulking until I realized that they had done a cheap job and just put new caulking over old caulking. I had to (by hand, lots of elbow grease) take off the old caulking and apply new one. Do you have Instagram, I can dm you if you prefer to swap cleaning tips 🙂
I have a shower EXACTLY like this... the best thing to use for this is Chlorox Bleach - the one you'd use to whiten your laundry- preferably the one that includes disinfect. It's super strong, but I just douse the whole shower in it. It works even FASTER than the toilet bowl cleaner. It whitens and brightens and disinfects so fast. BUT, those fumes are just as strong as well.

Wear a mask, safety goggles and gloves. Always use ventilation
My tile guy said to use ph neutral cleaners. No bleach on tile or grout.
Oh! I know this hach. I use some bleach in tissue in soaked in the bleach in put around for a bet longer time and become new again. This is cool tips

You could have mentioned that toilet bowl cleaner stains all the metal faucet! Now I have to explain to my landlord why they are streaking and stained.

Mama Of 2 yes I have and it works great if you’re concerned about a more porous tile you can always test it out in one spot first.
Doesn’t the components degrade the grout?
Tried something like this a while ago, the colour of the product red changed the grout colour. Not sure what I did wrong, anyone? Otherwise just a warning
I bought a little brush drill attachment and just drilled my grout. Good for the lazy people.

Hmm what kind of grout do you have? Home Depot does sell special cleaners for grout. If it’s caulking it might need to be replaced, sometimes people caulk over damaged caulking to make it look better but unless you get rid of the mold underneath it won’t get better no matter how much you clean the caulking on top.
I thought bleach was not supposed to be used on tile and grout, ??
As always it’s best to check product instructions and recommendations. Before posting I read that it was safe to use even on porous surfaces; however, it is always best to spot test if you are unsure. I’m definitely not an expert I’m a homemaker and just sharing the best tips that I have found to work in my own home. Thanks for the watch.

Problem with this is the Clorox products have something in them that will eat the grout. Be careful
Steam cleaner is the way to go.
Well. You are very easy to look at.
Bleach toilet bowl cleaner doesn't do as well as regular. Good for disenfectanting. Not good for rust and lime
