Little Tip from pharmasist: yes, acetic acid has more power - but it will also attac the tile joints in the Bath room and the aerosol your lungs :(
I do my own cleaning products many years with citric acid and Dishsoap and it works very well.
For best cleaning you can use those four:
      - chemical (Acid, tensid, enzym etc.)
      - time to take effect
      - heat (I love my steam cleaner)
      - mechanic like rubbing
      Good work :)

Wow, oven cleaner is such a great idea and plastic wrap for the door is another one 🤩. I‘ve watched a lot of cleaning videos, but this is the first time I heard these two! What I do to keep my shower spotless: I use a squegee and then a glass microfiber to wipe it completely clean. I never have to clean my shower, while the one my husband uses needs clesning every week, because we have incredibly hard water here. I prefer investing this minute after each shower so there is no need to work hard or use harsh chemicals, and my shower is ALWAYS spotless 🤩

It was a great tip, thank you. But I have a suggestion for not allowing the citric acid to run down from the glass door. You can use a think long cloth which is about 12 to 14 feet in length and hang it on the door and spray the citric acid on it so that it sticks to the glass. This way you can avoid the enormous amount of plastic.

Small recommendation from a biologist: be careful when using different cleaning products where some are alkaline and other acidic. Depending on the exact chemicals in it, it can sometimes create dangerous gas. I remember hearing something especially risky relating to chlorine bleach mixed with something acidic.
Also, when removing limescale, it will typically have a reaction that liberates CO2 into the air, so remember to keep a window/door open. Although you will likely notice it really quick if there is a lot of CO2 around (long before it becomes truly dangerous). CO2 makes us feel like we're suffocating. So if you feel that way while removing limescale, step out of the room for a while and keep the windows and doors wide open.

The best cleaning experience I ever had was cleaning my oven racks by putting them in HOT water in the bathtub (lined with a towel to prevent scratching the tub) then sprinkle over with powdered dishwasher soap (I used Finish Powder). Oh my! They came out LIKE NEW! Every nook and cranny was like it had never been used before. So satisfying. You have to leave it there for a couple of hours but so worth it.

when something is thick or oily, as in a really thick oil like tyre grease regular oil should work, for mascara try lens cleaning solution or maybe both, i use sunflower oil an initial make up remover, specifically for waterproof makeup and then face soap after, it really works. oil is great for so many things like for after waxing, a bit of oil removes any stickiness or if you have stickers on walls etc, rub a little oil and great for polishing a stainless steel surface, a tiny little spritz of oil rubbed in thoroughly with a cotton cloth works.

You can kill it (bleach or dedicated mold cleaner), but if the silicone is stained, you have to/can quite easily scrape the silicone out of the area and reapply a fresh silicone seal :)
I have read somewhere that there are products to put under the fresh silicone to hinder new mold growth.

Another great tip for the water marks/limescale on the shower doors/tiles is to spray white vinegar on it (I think it cannot be applied on the natural stone, etc. so check it before you destroy your tiles), scrub it, repeat if needed (if your tiles are smooth and your hand "glides" when you're scrubbing it - the water marks/limescale is gone), rinse. Mix part water, part dishwasher shine liquid/rinse aid and spray it onto the tiles, rub it in, then rinse with water. It will be weeks before any new marks will show up! :)

What I struggle with the most in our rental is the mould in porous areas, like the grout. The apartment is really badly made and there is basically no ventilation (also, people don't seem to care about rentals here), so mould has accumulated and I haven't been able to get rid of it, even with pure strong vinegar or bleach.
Also, getting rid of dust when the apartment has carpet throughout. An absolute nightmare. You dust, you vacuum, 30 seconds later, the surfaces are dusty again. It does my head in.
PS : I love the fact that even while cleaning, you take care of your appearance. I always look and feel like a slob when I clean, and it makes me hate it even more.
