When your grout is nice and clean, it's important to reseal it to prevent it going moldy again. :) Love the shower cap too ;)
How do u reseal it
There are products you can get that you apply over the grout. Just search for grout resealer on Amazon or other home improvement shops :)

Elle, Elle, I'm 57 and have tried everything under the sun (we rent) that never ever gets the grout that clean. Will definitely give it a go, well who would have thought toilet cleaner but it makes sense.
I’m so jealous of your beauty! Ok if you keep having mildew is because your grout need to be re-sealed you can buy it at Home Depot and it’s like scotch guard for the grout. The grout is porous like sand and sealer make a shield like a cover. After that you can clean with something natural like tea tree oil because is anti mold.
I scrub with white king gel bleach on my shower about once a month (I do use a shower cleaner weekly). Our bathroom ventilation fan helps to dry out our shower after each use, also helps to keep mould away. Most shower internal walls (the one inside the bathroom) here in Oz are made of glass.
You just bleach it away. It is still there. After you shower you need to dry it. It helps keep mold away. Disinfectant is good
It's still there, just bleached away, may be true - but no way the mold aka the fungus is still alive at this point. It may come back but think the surface fungus is dead, bleach doesn't go well with organisms.
Yup this mold problem is a problem that has been happening ever since people have used tiles in their bathrooms. Today most people have forgotten about the mold in the grout problem and now decided tiles were the height of fashion so everyone gets tiles and now found out there is a problem with having tiles called mold. This was the main reason people stopped tiling their bathrooms, to avoid having to scrub the mold out of grout lines. Even if you seal your grout lines it will eventually fail and grow mold, maybe not as quickly. You could use a dark color grout with your tiles so it won't show the mold as much but it will still be there. UG! How I hate scrubbing grout lines in tiles!
Cleaning is like restoring a rembrandt paining. I also like cleaning cabinet hinges and handles. They seem to oxidize quickly.
Wholly moley I didn't even think about this b4. I don't think I would use sno bol though even though I use to use it on a sink I use to have. They probably don't sell it anymore anyways. But this was great. Tyfs God bless you
I remember this going around RUclips years ago. So happy it worked for you! Now, steak that grout before it gets yucky again so you can about being to do this again! Also, I'm very jealous, that's slightly more than moderate, but not extreme 😂
Thank you SO MUCH for talking about combining products. People can make themselves very sick. Bleach + ammonia = mustard gas. If a person breathes a decent amount of mustard gas before getting away to fresh air, he or she can still feel sick for days. Also, don't use bleach to clean up any kind of pee. Cat pee is the worst, but all pee contains ammonia.

I will have to try this in our bathroom. We own a home that was previously owned by a chain smoker. The walls are yellow and the pink mold around the edges are just gross. I am finally looking forward to a cleaning project.
Elle I have been doing this for years I clean for my side job The best toilet bowl cleaner is The Works It is so cheap You can get it at the Dollar Tree they have it at Walmart to I don't know if they sell it in Canada But I am telling you if a bath tub has grime and not even just grout instantly goes away When I start cleaning I take a whole bottle and I will douse it all over the shower all over the grouts everywhere and let it sit it works so good and it's so Cheap please let me know if they have it at your dollar store if not I will send you some.. But also they have one with bleach and without bleach personally they both work I like the 1 with bleach sometimes more it depends on what I am actually cleaning and how bad the grime is in the bathroom ..
If you want to stay away totally from toxic chemicals, please consider checking out Norwex products. They work amazing and are totally nontoxic! In fact, for all your general cleaning, all you need is the norwex enviro cloth and water! It removes 99% of bacteria. It makes cleaning so so minimalistic and fun! They have a great mold/mildew product and also a paste that would work wonders on your grout! And many other amazing products! It's exactly what I was looking for so I became a Norwex consultant. A shower shouldn't be tilt all the way up. The steam couldn't go away. Black mold is very dangerous.

Hmmm....is this meant to get just the grout clean? I have a shower with a floor that is that nasty ?plastic? bottom? Despite cleaning it with all kinds of different products, some high in the nasty smelly chemical dept and others not so much, it just doesn’t ever come clean. I wonder if this would work?
My tub got really stained with the blue dye from the cleaner and now I can’t remove it! 😩

I used to live in a country house that has TERRIBLE rust. We would clean the shower with Lysol toilet bowl cleaner and it was amazing.
P.s. I saw your denman brush. How do you like it? I’ve been doing a modified curly girl method since March and just haven’t tried that brush yet.
I’m not trying to make fun but I’m just curious what’s with the bathtub faucet I would smack my leg on that every time. On a positive note the cleaning method works we’ll definitely need to open the windows & wear a mask.
