    I saw today first fotos from the CX 80 with 7 seats, it looks like a longer CX 60. Like the VW Tiguan and than the VW Tiguan Allspace with 7 seats. But my favorite is the Mazda CX 60! They did a fantastic job and i can't wait for the 3.3l R6 4×4 Diesel!

    Sadly fuel consumption looks like is really poor on this one. Look at the figures at 5min 43 sec fuel tank nearly half full tank 100 miles remaining battery charged around half 13 miles. Perhaps since new were driven too enthusiastically.
    I know new engines need time to loose up but not a promising start. I’m a fan of phev had Golf GTE and Mitsubishi anyway.
    Otherwise a beautiful car with lots of extras but 3 litre diesel or petrol might be the car to go for.
    Thinking of either this one, Raw 4, xc60,Audi q5 or A6 all phev as my next car so lots of test drive ahead before decision day.
    Good video as always Mate

    There is no leather on the dashboard, the seats are adjustable only in 10 ways, the suspension (especially on the hybrid) is quite firm, and transmission could be smoother... Otherwise, I love this car, especially straight 6cyl diesel

      In EU the suspension is changed and also the transmission feeling. Only in 10 ways? Everything is eletric. The seats i know from other german brands have less adjustments. Love this car also.

    After watching many, many Mazda CX videos (since I am in the market) I noticed that no You-tube reviewer hardly ever talks about the suspension. Many of these Mazdas have torsion bar rear suspensions. Maybe that's why the silence or lack of suspension talk. So buyer beware. Torsion suspension is to keep the price down, nobody mentions it, nobody sees it and probably 98% don't even know they bought it. In my opinion no car in 2023 with a torsion bar suspension can be "impressive".

    • @inodesnet
      @inodesnet Год назад +1

      Touch stops when you move. But to be honest, once you get used to the command knob it works more easily when driving with far less distraction as several movements through menus requires quick glances, muscle memory and few movements. Touch screen is more direct for sure but requires direct eye contact and more dexterity when driving that it’s quite annoying to use while driving.
      I’ll choose knob over touch when moving and touch over knob when stationary.

    Does it rattle. Hope they have improved the durability of the interior materials. I had the current Mazda3, it rattled from day one. Sold it after 20 months when I needed the steering wheel changed under warranty. I believe the CX60 can do a sub 5.5 in off road mode.

    • @ahuramazda323
      @ahuramazda323 Год назад

      If you abuse a vehicle it will rattle. Most people who complain about these things do not care how they drive the car and do not service the vehicle properly. They think a car is supposed to be driven without caring for it.

    • @MosesKaldor

      @@ahuramazda323 I see you point. I my self looked after my car and did not abuse it. It was serviced regularly and had all recalls looked into. The Mazda3 was not ready for release at the time. Hopefully they have learned their lessons from that.

    I bought a CX-60 top specification 3.3l engine about a month ago and a CX-5 black edition 2.0 AWD. I have to say so far the CX-60 is very disappointing, it rattles and shakes, the boot lid is loose and continually thumps on the smallest bump. The driver personalisation feature rarely works, even when it tells me my name it is in guest mode and the seat and steering wheel are in the wrong positions, I have to go into the system and change to my name to get the car seat how I want it. The wife's CX-5 has a much better build quality and feels sturdy, the CX-60 seems flimsy inside and cheaply made. I sold a cheap Chinese Haval H6 top to buy this car and now I'm regretting it. The lane change warning is really annoying, I've turned it off 3 times and it just comes back on randomly, when driving in snow and ice it's really scary to have the car fight back when you are changing lanes. I'm really beginning to resent this car. Only thing I can say is the engine is powerful but let down by the really poor gear lever, the trend in modern cars is for these crappy gear levers, the CX-5 lever is what people want. Not that shitty lever. One last thing is my windows steam up randomly when leaving the car parked. Means I cannot drive for 5 minutes whilst the windows clear.
    I would not recommend anyone to buy the CX-60 over the CX-5, the CX-5 is a much better car for the money.

    Although the car is great. Your review of it i have to say wasn't. Firstly, the tech in the car is not all that impressive. Most of that stuff you can find in a kia hatch, not that mazda didn't throw everything at it, it's just that most tech today is simply purchased off the shelf.
    Secondly, that was not a big motor you are looking at. It was only a piece of plastic covering the entire engine bay. You failed to mention the reason as to why the bonnet is so long, and that's because of the other engines which are inline 6 in petrol and desiel, not because of the hybrid inline 4
