- A new nameplate and a plug-in hybrid heart, the Mazda CX-60 offers refined and frugal driving that a family of five will enjoy. Homura is a new spec too, sitting below Takami, it's Japanese craftmanship all the way.

Stunningly beautiful car
It's certainly a looker
Good review. Ive owned mine for a year now. Running costs are extremely low. Suspension is on the hard side, not suited to UK potholes. Putting it into sport mode certainly brings a smile. So far I give it 9/10.
Great stuff, thanks for the feedback, always good to hear from owners.
Had mine since last August. KONI adaptive dampers make a world of difference to the harsh low speed ride, just had them fitted, not many Kms with them yet, but night&day. No, not sponsored. EUR 1500 for parts and dealer fitting.
@maxinlux6570 ...thanks for the information. Do you have the part number?
@@maxinlux6570 Thanks for the top tip - really good to know
@@TarmacLife I posted the part numbers and price in Luxembourg yesterday, but my post seems to have vanished... Can't think why YT would have gotten the hump about it?
I have a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. It’s a fantastic vehicle. I prefer it over the Mazda. I consistently get 70+ kms in ev mode as I drive it in one pedal, eco mode. I’ve done 3500 kms since buying it two months ago and am averaging 0.1L / 100 km! I have filled the petrol tank up once!
Thanks for watching and comments. Good to know that you're having a great experience with the Outlander. This new Mazda is a whole new experience too, nowhere near the same milage but a well put together, up market ride. Appreciate the feedback.
CX-60 Azami PHEV is amazing. Is pretty much luxury that is suited for city life, for those driving about ~70km daily.
Also, the driver seat is like a plane's cockpit... Feels gooood being the driver. Bose music system is great too.
We agree - thanks for the comments
🤩
:)
Great review. However, with no spare wheel, in the event of a severe puncture, its about as much use as a chocolate teapot!
Thanks, we appreciate the positive feedback. Get your point about the spare but do people change tyres anymore?
@@TarmacLife No, they don't because they don't have one to change! Last year the RAC in the UK were called out an unbelievable 200,000 times to unrepairable punctures. I presume each of those cars ended up on the back of a breakdown truck? Imagine getting a puncture at night on a dark country lane, at night, family in the car, no mobile signal and no spare wheel? I for one won't ever buy a car that doesn't have at least a space saver wheel.
@@Bunce1949 carry some puncture repair kits and foam plus a small air compressor job done, will get you to the next service station or home till you can sort a new one out
@@050sniper Sorry not convinced! A few years back I hit a piece of metal in the road whilst overtaking on a dual carriageway. Instant deflation of the tyre and the fact I managed to get the car and myself off the road in one piece was a miracle. The tyre had a gash around 4 inches long in the side wall. Fortunately I had a spare wheel and after changing the wheel, continued my journey. No amount of repair kits or compressors would have fixed that tyre or the damaged rim of the wheel, so sorry but I won't buy a vehicle without a suitable spare wheel or the tools to replace it.
I found the door closing sound rather poor and not very solid. Reminded me of my ex C-Class with aluminium doors. Was one of the pre premiere cars thou, they offered to get test drives at the dealer's over in Germany.
Thanks for watching and comments. Didn't pick up on the lighter doors, just the big rear wheel arch. Overall, great Mazda quality though.
Hybrid system malfunction issues nobody reporting. car stops dead on road. Mine in service garage twice in first month. Seriously regretting buying this car
I had a Mazda fix for the doors, made a huge difference. Also, I too had a malfunction on the electric system, although I was still able to drive. No issues since the update from Mazda.
@@AHarker100 what did they do to the doors?
@ronpower7790 the fitted some sound proofing.
The ramp piep has to go out the car. The pieps are TERRIBLE.
Please what are the problems of this car? I don’t hear that here!!
