So after doubting Nikons’s comeback for many years, I finally and I mean finally feel Nikon is on the right track. Let’s take a look at‘a brand new camera the Z6 III.
Shooting the D750 Nikon, and thinking of possibly upgrading. Z6iii or Z8, but 'not' being a Professional, the latter might be the correct choice, thanks for your input!
@HowTechnologyWorks3D you sacrifice noise in low light areas for the sake of focus performance. I’ll take the better focus system all day. I can adjust for exposure but can’t adjust for bad focusing
I have the ZF and enjoy using it. The autofocus performance is on par with Z6III and it's significantly better than the Z5, the camera I tried prior. Between the ZF and the Z6III for the video, it's no competition, the Z6III is the superior camera with 6k 60fps and more options. I use my ZF more for shooting photos and less on video. However, the 4k 30fps 10 bit internal raw is absolutely fantastic. I also have the 4k 60fps, but it's cropped. It's more than enough than I need. The Z6III is worth buying at $2,500 USD. If you need to spend the $500 USD elsewhere, the ZF at $2,000 USD is a great option. I consider it the Z6 2.5 and the autofocus and sensor delivers on that.
Redundant video recording is an Achilles heal of Nikon as it affects but their Z9 and Z8. Hopefully it’s just a firmware update vs processor limitation
The customisation are far more convenient and numerous options on the Z9. These podcaster are singing for their supper.... I've noticed similarities in their appraisal of the Lieca SL3. Which is a street and portrait camera. Not a fast elite action-sport wildlife photography /professional work. It's all %110 marketing. I have since Diss photography equipment podcasters. They all spout from the same script. That's after I had the Z8 for 2 soccer matches and a Mobile phone conference/launch. I litterally felt some Tech- digital steps back. Great size and weight though from the Z8, but for 4g,nah! I appreciate that though. It's a great alternative back-up +when tone down to a Press Conference nothing more. Oh the battery takes so long to fully charge.

I remember you, glad you are coming back with the best :)
Def approve of this upgrade
What is your take on the lower Dynamic Range. ...how does or doesn't make this a lesser cam

The lack of dual recording is a huge problem, and Nikon must address this ASAP. Having a backup is important!

Had any Video noise flickering? is across all log codecs & seems to be a common issue hopefully fixed in firmware update
In the footage I used I did not experience this.
