C24 is the gold standard for an entry level trail truck, honestly. You get quite the performance for a low price tag, definitely good for anyone who wants to try out outdoor RCs but do not want to spend too much.
Was waiting for someone to do this review. Was considering getting a new RTR and comparing it to the old one myself. You got me beat 😂😅😊Awesome video man.
I really believe WPL has leveled up they’re drivetrain/suspension. There’s definitely a ton of potential with the new design. Can’t wait to see what people do with it.
I ordered up a 'yellow' one,it's a shame that it's more of a desert yellow than a true yellow, but since my last one is red, this prevents confusion Arvid.
@@singhgamer06 No, its not recommended to do like I did in this video. But I wanted to test the limits and they still work fine but as I said. Its not recommended and do it at your own risk etc
Well ... it's still crap too expensive. For the price of this rotten thing you have an axial scx24 or a fms fcx24 or even an excellent rockhobby 1/18 van!! I already bought this shit once and the KM kit! Yes, these are toys that are not worth more than 10 euros....
I like the WPL models but to each their own :) I haven't tried a scx24 yet, where I live they cost around 150-160 usd and I only paid 60 for the c-24. My experience with the KM models is that once set up they way I like it, they are quite capable little trucks with nice details
@@RCManiacs You know, I had 3 full metal wpl kits with the 2 speed gearbox, a gas b66, a c34 and a c44, I thought it was good but one day I bought an FMS FCX24. I can tell you that the WPL ended up in the trash!! Now I have an Axial scx24, an fms fcx24 and I just got a traxxas trx4m and I can tell you that I will never buy a WPL again in my life. Try a double speed FMS FCX24 and I promise you won't touch your WPL again. The only good thing about WPL is their hard body.
@@bidibulle6795 Where do you live and how much do the scx24 and WPL c54 cost there? I have the exact same situation as @RC Maniacs, the scx24 is 160$ and the WPL c54 is ~80$.
@@Dudek501 I'm in France . For me the wpl KM kit (full metal) with shipping cost me 130 euro. The Axial scx24 with shipping cost me 139 euro The FMS fx24 with shipping cost me 145 euro The traxxas is the most expensive 180 euro.
In Canada a WPL rings around 45$ and a axial scx24 is like 200, a fcx24 is 160$ us so about 215$ ( plus shipping) and a trx4m is about 230$ I can literally reengineer the WPL to leave all the other in the dust for half the price.

Thanks man! I bought the c24-1 just for this video lol. I dont have any other stock RTRs :)
Thanks I had the truck now I’ll think I’ll get the new one.
😁
Can you swap the bodies? Like, put the C24’s Toyota Hilux on the C54’s chassis?
Did you find the answer?
Great Vs my Friend!
Very usefull ❤
Thanks 🙏🏻
You're welcome my Friend 🐻❄️🐼👍🏻
Very cool!
Does the stock electronic still fine after getting wet without doing water proofing?
Yeah but i dont recommend doing it :)

I agree 100%.
And thats one of the things that I love about WPL, the community is awesome when it comes to modding and upgrading
How does this compare to the mn99s or mn98?
Its better in my opinion
@@RCManiacs what about mn78? (Wpl c24/c54 vs mn78)
@@namkk7546 i havent tried that one
good video
Thanks

I think that the tan/desert yellow looks really good on this model :)
How long are you supposed to charge ?
Is rc car wpl c24-1 waterproof
No
is the stock wpl c24 and c54 waterproof?
No, its not recommended
Nice
Thanks!
If mud or sand gets in those gears it would slow down
👍
Is it waterproof?
No
@@RCManiacs dose it still work?
@@HAWAIIHAMMAH yes, but its not recomended to do
Why does everyone get the 24 when the 54 seems better?
